It is well documented that autocratic countries send their most loyal students abroad to the best universities they can pay, so they can return back and offer their services to the regime. It is something which have been well documented, how China pays for students to go to Harvard.

So it is easy to picture a country where internet is forbidden for the normal and common people but it is widely available for the North Korean elite and their hacker groups who get money for them, literal fortunes without having to be afraid of prosecution for years (if ever).
Hopefully after this unfortunate attack, casinos will get some extra security measures to make those criminals to put infinitely more effort to even have a chance to succeed again.

No matter what you look into, those people have been raised with some hardcore education there as well. But let me keep politics out of it, we can say that these hackers basically could be from anywhere, and the point is that a company that worths hundreds of millions of dollars, maybe even billions of dollars, shouldn't be getting hacked like this, it just doesn't make sense to me.

I know that it could happen in the tech world, I have seen even the FBI page itself getting hacked before, but that doesn't mean that it was a terrible thing on their behalf. So Stake should get a much better security people, a lot more pentesters and just pay them a sum to keep trying to hack into it all the time and fix the holes.

Recently i came to know about the news that Stake casino was hacked by Notorious North Korean hackers stole $41 million in crypto from an online casino..

In the latest incident, the FBI said the North Korean state-sponsored Lazarus Group hacked Stake.com on Monday.

Is the news real ? $41 million dollar is a huge amount of money  
Are the operation at stake normal ? I mean did people lose any money in their accounts on stake or there has been any withdrawal problems recently?

I haven't heard about it here so I doubt whether the news by itself was fake

Now this is not the case everywhere, I know legit business and very good people so I don't want to thrown everyone under a stand, but if you got eyes and can read.. you understand my point.

I don't know the person that founded Stake and created it. But I can only guess it was a person that always in his live wanted money, fast cars, luxury life... and for him it's worth it, to steal from honest customers on his way to the top! That's up to him, but one day all this will come to an end, mark my words my forum friends.

One part of me love it, and the other part dislike it, i really hope it it's not fake. Maybe it's a sign for casinos to actually behave and show some respect to their customers. Do you rather stop steal from your customers and give back to them whats  theirs, or giving the money to hackers wherever they are in the world? Hah!?

But one last thing. It was good it happen Stake... Just a feeling I got is that them are happy and gladly help and pay back to the customers that got affected. For sure not every casino would do that.
But for real Stake.. Fimp that clown Drake... He is a fool and i doubt he give you better feedback then worse from the "real gamblers" invest it in something more fun, like some competition for the customers, only that would attract a lot of more customers.

But in the whole, Stake is a good crypto casino if you compare with many others.... But everything can get better. It's only abut willing it to much and not just saying it when you wake up and got a lot of power, have the same feeling 22:00 at the evening when you are tired ready for sleep.

If we all go together, both casino staff and regular player to find a solution that 99% of the players would accept and like, its easy as that. The only concern here is that its money involved. Nothing else... Money is a bitch.

I was a bit surprised after claiming the pre-monthly bonus. I had received $30 from it, where I got only $10 from the last few pre and post monthly bonuses. I'm wondering why Eddie is showing generosity again while they have lost $41 million recently for the wallet hack.

Also, when you mention the FBI webpage and other webs belonging to the federal administration of the USA, it just shows that keeping a page secure is not only about budget but keeping attention to the little details which could turn into a exploit.
So it makes sense anyone can be a victim of this, even Stake or the government of a powerful conuntry.

It used to be 1000$ in 1 week but they changed that several months ago because accounts with a weekly base ( when this was still a thing ) of around 15-20$ could easily make 1k wager with this bonus and basically stay "active forever".

Nowadays it's between 2-3k in 1 week (or maybe even more now), then you will be considered active for 1 month with declining weekly bonuses after stopping to wager . After around 1 month the weekly will be 0.08$ and you know you have the inactive status.

Any little loophole in the security system could breed a huge threat and that is why exchange and casino must be up to date in the fight against hackers imposters and ofher abusers of their projects, its sad to hear such a huge sum was slashed away by hackers, from stake wallet, but i am curious to know.
Did the hackers gain access to players accounts and was customers wallet also compromised or just the hot wallet that was attacked?
I believe on the long run, stake will recover from all of this mess, and should place priority on the security system of their casino because this attack seems to be the biggest hack in the casino for a while now.

I totally failed to understand your point of view. If you think that Stake has been dishonest, you should come up with proper proof. If you think that people lose money through gambling while playing at stake, then you should know that gambling is risky and people will win some and lose some. So this logic is beyond understanding. If you think, that you will lose money in gambling, better stay away from gambling.

Well I got around 35k wager left to do, we are almost there. Of course I could do it by just spamming 1.01 bets on dice and losing 350$ in the process but I want to get it organically and get the full amount, haha. Greedy me.

Anyway, I am almost there, I can smell platinum 5 already. Not that it would change future weeklies now that there is no real base amoint anymore, but the 1 time bonus will be nice. After that I can leave the site without leaving anything behind.
