It is true that changes to the bonus system were implemented several months ago betting activity is required if we want to get the base bonus, it is clear that this new rule will have an impact on user interest when they want to reach a new VIP level I mean they won't force themselves including me but Stake.com is still a decent place for those who actively bet. My last monthly bonus was $28 for a total of 8 tickets in a month and mostly played in house games, yeah we know inhouse games are 3-4x lower in bonus contributions compared to games from third parties (slots).

Havent heard any news about what they are going to offer for the Christmas, but maybe they will have similar thing as what they did before. It can be bonus drop, bigger raffle, or bigger race. Some people are even hoping to get 2 monthly bonuses in December  There was a discussion where someone said that 1st week will be the 1st monthly bonus and before 25th will be the 2nd monthly bonus. I know it is just a hope from some people, but I think they should not expect that much.

It feels like the monthly bonus is non-existent now, lol.   I think one must actively play on the platform to get the best of this monthly bonus.  I feel that our activity and the amount wagered greatly affect our monthly bonuses unlike before when they give a generous one even if the account is not that actively playing.  And I believe their new bonus system makes sense,  why reward accounts that are idle, it would be unfair if a sleeping platinum player got a higher bonus than an active lower VIP player.

Yeah all kind of monthlies are down to 1$ if you are inactive for more then 4 weeks or something.
This kind of understandable but the lmit to be considered active it too high in my opinion.
To get the weekly bonus you must wager around 2-3k , which is't a lot for some but for others it is.

And for the monthly I don't even know the number to be cindered active, I can only guess.
1-2 years ago you can even collect some real money even if you are inactive but these days are super over unfortunately.

If you don't play anymore, even if you lost 1 million $ 3 months ago, you get 1$, that's the harsh reality.

How long have you been inactive for you to receive only $1 for your monthly? I always wonder if people that are in the same position like yourself, get more monthly ...once they start wagering again? Let's say you were inactive for 6 months and you only got $1 for monthly and then you start wagering say $20 000 per week, will it be increased again. 

There are a lot of people who sometimes just decides to take an hiatus (break) from gambling or just because of their financial situation.... so why should they get punished, if they returned?

Let's hope the Xmas promotions are good enough to retain the tired bones of the people who have been grinding for the whole year.

I always wonder if people that are in the same position like yourself, get more monthly ...once they start wagering again? Let's say you were inactive for 6 months and you only got $1 for monthly and then you start wagering say $20 000 per week, will it be increased again. 

Logically, the player will get the bonus back to normal as before because the monthly bonus is based on the last 30 days activity of the player. 
It will be really bad if the bonus is not increased back to normal as before after wagering like $20k or more per week regardless of the long inactivity.
If players just come back from long inactivity but they get so low bonus after making more wager than they used to in the past before the inactivity, these players will be very disappointed and high possibility will leave Stake to find other place.
However I have not seen a case with such a situation, most of the complaints were from players who get low bonus due to their inactivity.

You are ignoring main fact here. Stake has included lossback with the weekly and monthly bonuses after changing the old bonus parameters. So, you will receive a decent amount from the weekly or monthly if you lose a big amount within the week or month. No casinos offer hundreds of dollars to the inactive high roller always.

I was a little surprised that the followed the last 2 years up with yet another early monthly, that was nice!
So there will definitely be a chance for a second monthly for Xmas, but as always there is no guarantee.

Maybe it will come true but we should not expect that much to get another monthly bonus on Christmas, as AHOY said above "no guarantee" although we received so early monthly bonus this December. Anyway I did not wager much too on November, I played and wagered about $5k on the last week only of the month. I got $23 from the monthly bonus, previously I got $12 from the post monthly bonus, but of course both were gone quickly.

My betting activity has also decreased significantly at Stake, and I got the same amount like you. I was able to turn it above $30 through all-in in crash game before losing it back. Anyway, my current rank is almost 80k with only $65 wager. I think we need to wager at least $200k to stay in the top 5,000 users list of the $10 million monthly race.

Anyway, my current rank is almost 80k with only $65 wager. I think we need to wager at least $200k to stay in the top 5,000 users list of the $10 million monthly race.

I'm at 12k with $4k wager, without a doubt we will need to wager much in order to be the the top 5000.
200k can be enough but it is not recommended to wager for the race if we are small players only because the reward might be something not worth the risk.
Pretty sure I will not be on the top 5000 places at the end of the race because there are so many things to be prioritized in December to January.
