if BTG takes off solid we could see a boost on nvidia card prices.
Simple logic dictates it.
I will be making a move to get the Zotac 1070ti MINI (110watts, 200core, 700mem, 500sols, DSTM miner) before prices go crazy. Vega 56 is pretty much a one-trick pony on Monero at this time for cost and efficient cryptocoin mining, based on the info I've seen.
The 1070Tis are crap at eth, I dont see how the 56 is a one trick pony when it hits high hash rates on pretty much every algo it is used on , sorry but you are not making sense lol. They were back up to $459 or $469 when I checked Newegg pricing right before that post - RIGHT NOW there is a Power Color model at $409, a Gigabyte at $429, and the rest are OVER $500. On a hash/$ basis, even at $400 they barely match a RX 470/480/570/580 while being less power efficient per every posting I've seen. On everything else BUT Monero (and D.Net RC5-72 work) they are VERY poor on a hash/$ basis and usually not competative on hash/watt. ETH algo is about the ONLY algo the 1070 ti is "crap" at - far more flexable card than Vega 56 is and efficient at a LOT of algorithms. Efficiency is not everything, especially when it's as expensive as a pascal GPU. Hash per watt is good, hash per dollar is better. In a market as uncertain as crypto, you want the quickest possible return on your investment. Unless you have a massive operation already that'll quickly pay off your investment, you'll see profit quicker with Vega's. TLDR: Vega is less risky ^^ This and mining monero at 2000h/s at 125 watt is pretty damn efficent to me lol vega is the best choice for fastet ROI on gpus at current pricing, 1070ti and 1070s are too expensive for me |

Stak doesnt have NH support yet - it says it does at Github, seems not implemented yet. Currently I use smOS Linux... sgminer-gm-NH-v5.5.5 for AMD (failover pools, no dev fee) and ccminer v2.1 or v2.2 (skunk) for NVIDIA -- no dev fee. Both supports NH/extranonce |

update my 10 boards are in the usa. DUE AT MY HOUSE ON THE 13 TH Chili.Dog ------- 1) R0mi ----------- 1) spotswood ----- 1) Marvell2 ------- 1) crazydane ------ 1) VoskCoin ------- 1) vapourminer --- 1) ATCkit --------- 1) soothaa ------ 1) maybe not sure THAT is 8 or 9 of the 10 To further update the onda b250 is running very well I left the short slot open. 7 easy fit cards I did order a zotac 1070 mini as I want to go to all eight.   @citronick and @philipma1957 , Where can I get these 6pin male to 6pin male PCI power connectors. Right now I am working with only 2 such connectors from my very old power supply.

Hey, guys, what do you use to make btcgold wallets?
I see only a few providers which I don't recognize.
Is it feasible to mine to an exchange wallet for starters, like binance (hopefully others will join shortly)?

Hmmm, I will have to try that out. Sgminer still gets too many disconnects and rejects when mining to Nicehash. XMR Cast is allot more stable, but it requires a separate instance for each GPU, so I don't find that to be very practical for 6 GPU rigs. *Using Rx 400/500 series GPUs, we don't have any Vegas here. |

TLDR: Vega is less risky
Vega is a lot MORE risky, as long as it's so dependent on Monero to be hash/$ efficient - Vega LOSES on everything else I've seen figures on for cryptocoin mining on a hash/$ basis. I also strongly dislike that you have to run Windows 10 to get the high Monero hashrates, as every Monero miner I've tried on it requires the "blockchain" drivers to GET those rates and either the miner doesn't exist on LINUX, or you run into the issue with the blockchain drivers being BROKEN on Windows 7. It does appear that Vega has a better CURRENT time to payback - but BTG is going to shift those numbers when it goes live, and who knows how long the current Monero profitability surge is going to last? On the up side - cards should hold their value pretty well partly mitigating the risk, and if you have some OTHER use for them it's certainly worth mining on them 'till the profitability DOES drop - but that's also true for Pascal-based GTX cards which have so many more OPTIONS on what to mine with them. |

It doesnt require separate instances anymore I had it running with 2 Rx 480s in a personal desktop, but if I run them in the same instance they get quite poor hashrate. When I switched to separate instances the hashrate nearly doubled. |

The only problem is you have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get these results. Most people just like Nvidia cause you plug them in and put a slight OC on them and you are done. |
