Look at the end of the day, if it's a scam, it'll be a very short lived one. If you think of all the people who had money in the site, there will be numerous who will be people that have a different way of dealing with things. There won't be law suits or arrests or anything of the sort. There will be a guy walk up behind him as he gets out of his car and put two rounds in the back of the head. It'll be that simple. For all we know, it could have already happened.

I thought the same thing. Who knows, they could have already been in trouble, hence the "money grab" as a quick fix versus years of profitability off of the trading fees.

I would recommend you guys stop watching Nachos... This is just a company running a (legal) exchange, not a drug lord . CM will be back up before the end of the month. If it was a scam it would have been completely down by now, but the ip is updating (like it would do if somebody was configuering the servers). I was able to access my account earlier to day. Be patient, and take your hitman / Breaking Bad stories elsewhere.

"before the end of the month"

Is that really a reasonable amount of time to be fixing servers? We might as well say coinsmarkets will be back up by the end of 2022.

I hope there is a way to collect all the information in a more organized manner. There is so much fluff and nonsense to scroll through in a telegram group.

Really thinking the same as you mention, there is a trace to the dev begind coinsmarkets only a stupid guy would SCAM. The site and the people who have money on it goes in many millions from all over the world. Imagine Governments from all over the world will make work of this.

ATTENTION: ALL COINS THAT WERE LISTED AT COINSMARKETS SHOULD BE DELISTED IMMEDIATELY AT COINMARKETCAP AND OTHER EXCHANGES LIKE CRYPTOPIA, YOBIT, STOCKS.EXCHANGE AND OTHER EXCHANGES NOT MENTIONED. THE SERVER MIGRATION IS JUST A TACTICAL PLOY TO SELL OUR STOLEN COINS TO OTHER EXCHANGES FOR BTC.

I had BTC there... so they should shut down all Bitcoin exchanges?!

coinsmarkets went down on 3rd january

its been 9 days

this is a new IP 185.66.143.252 coinsmarkets is running on.

yesterday it was 185.66.143.224.

it appears someone is working or doing something.

at a guess it appears they are struggling with it all

There are 4 IPs in the load balancer hence why you get a different message at the top upon page load. You will see 4 different IPs... someone posted them all earlier in the thread.

I had a ticket with coinsmarket 28 december. It was fixed within 5 hours and they way they communicated about was genuine. I still think this is not a scam but everything got to big. It is very stupid not to manage the expectations towards the clients!

I saw the same thing too. I take this is a good sign, or if not good at least slightly better than where we all were before?
