Yes, I think so too. Now a lot of people want to convert their ETH to BTC to get B2X when the fork happens, rather than investing it in an ICO.

I think pre sale bonus over 25% is too much. It leads always to a dump after the main ICO. I think many ICOs don't consider that.

There are ICOs that have even deeper discounts, I remember seeing one with 80%. They are mainly concerned with filling the progress bar, hoping for a "me too" effect.

25% is really ok.
Presale that offers 50% thats a lot, there is a great chance it will be dumped after listed on exchanges.

This BTC forking is really messing up the whole crypto market including the new entries (ie. ICOs).
The good news is that this might be the peak in terms of a fork having such a large impact. There are so many opponents to BTC-core (eg. Roger, Erik, Jihan, Garzik, Shillbert) that if BTC-core survives this, then it is really going to show BTC's resilience and also (hopefully) discourage hostile forks like this.

After the upcoming fork settles down, we should be able to invest in our ICOs as usual.

I don't think bitcoin platinum is more than a joke. Actually, more fork is better now people will get sick of it and there won't be a fork after some time.

I don't think bitcoin platinum is more than a joke. Actually, more fork is better now people will get sick of it and there won't be a fork after some time.

Nobody can stop them from doing that but i thing since a huge chunk was sold in private sale that they did some kind of background check on them and they are willing to hold the coin.
