when will the hardfork happen to fix the pow difficulty problem?

i don't get why the price is rising altough the client has problems
and a lot of stuck transactions that don't make it into the blockchain.

cypto is a weird world where a coin that has fundamental problems rises in price

Price is very low, and you will watch more rise soon.

I use ANC normal last days, sending from wallet to other address ,
sending normal to cryptsy, buy/sell normal at cryptsy.
But problem can be when you want send from cryptsy to wallet,
and we all know that.
It is not that we do not know so you must point at the problem.
ANC community waits for resolving that.

It is not good for new ppl and who watching us.

But that problem is not that big to not buy ANC who will became first anon coin with ZC implement.

Other part you say means that coin without temporary problems must rise?

ANC is stronger than that, and our community proving it!

Alacast - I like your most recent logo. It's simple yet powerful. Could you use that with a darker/greyscale/black color scheme? I'd just like to see how else it would look. Keep the logos coming though, I like the creativity!

just to entertain you, here is another logo work (while more important issues are getting sorted out):

Everyone else is here: https://wiki.anoncoin.net/Logo

Hey thanks for that, love seeing the comparisons directly and I love coin logo "competitions", even if they aren't needed/wanted or official :p

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

@ gnosis

perhaps is logically, no one asked, and you have not published,
but I have to ask, mainnet 01 November is delayed for 7 days like testnet?

That is likely. Mainnet launch will be somewhere between the 1st and the 7th. I'll know more a few days after testnet launch.

So I sent this transaction about a week ago and it doesn't have any confirmations. It was from my normal anc wallet to another anc wallet. Not from or too any exchanges.

I thought it was because of the difficulty problem but blocks have definitely been found since last week. And shouldn't the difficulty problem only affect transactions from exchanges and not from wallets? Does anyone know whats happening here and why the transaction hasn't gone through? Thanks!

Hi,

I'm not tech guy to help you much, but you can search problem on web like for any other wallets.
I think the coins in an old wallet, they never went out. Just as visually written as they are.

If you have an old wallet.dat, try to paste and turn off/on again to sync.

Thanks for the help!  I'm just curious because I had two transactions from anoncoin-qt to another anoncoin-qt wallet.  Both were sent on 10/9 and one confirmed on 10/13 while the other one has yet to confirm.  It doesn't make sense to me since the problem was supposed to just be on exchanges not the wallet from the source code.  If the suspected problem is that exchanges are modifying the code and sending out transactions larger than 100kb why would anoncoin-qt be doing that as well? Also, the difficulty problem should only be delaying a transaction by 10 hours tops since blocks are still being found, it is just taking a while.  I don't understand why it would be taking days or weeks to send something.

I suggest that you try re-opening the senders anoncoin-qt and seeing that it joins up to the network properly.
ie: move the mouse over the bottom right icons and tool tips will show the number of connections, or, type getpeerinfo in the debug window and you should get a list of all the peers you are connected to

I understand that it - anoncoin-qt - should re-broadcast the transaction if it is not yet done ...

This could explain why your transaction never got sent, with all the intermittent block solving maybe when you sent the transaction was at a time when your client could not find any newer nodes to talk to ... from my experience i've seen the connect count vary greatly with these difficulty fluctuations.

[EDIT]
for instance, i'm connected to 67 nodes atm ( upped MAX_OUTBOUND_CONNECTIONS ), i2p, tor, clearnet
also, stick this in your anoncoin.conf:
addnode=anoncoinmpkoerba.onion

[EDIT2]
but if ur just clearnet, be sure that you have:
noirc=0
discover=1
and also, run the latest client and check your debug.log for version mismatches

Hey mate; we're on the same boat. I have withdrawn my ANC about 4-5 days ago and still no signs of life.... We should support K1773Rand ask if the community wants to help him mine in his pool or add a new file to their settings.. so that the stuck tx can be mined through..

afaik, if your transactions are making it to the block chain they'd at least be visible here: http://ancblockchain.com/chain/Anoncoin

If they were supersize xactions, they'd still be visible, even if they sat there for hours/days with zero confirmations being ignored by miners.

you could fire up the client again and check, or follow a get raw and send raw procedure ...

What about a transaction I made from Bittrex to Cryptsy? Basically Bittrex page shows my transaction is confirmed but it does not show up in the blockchain..

The sender has quit and restarted his anoncoin-qt client multiple times over the last week.  He also has waited each time for the wallet to sync completely and kept the client open for a while after.  He also has made sure he is connected to peers (hence why it is syncing).  Just to clarify again, one of the transactions took a few days and the other transaction has yet to confirm and it has been about a week.

Thanks for everyone's help I'm just wondering why this has happened.
