So I sent this transaction about a week ago and it doesn't have any confirmations. It was from my normal anc wallet to another anc wallet. Not from or too any exchanges.
I thought it was because of the difficulty problem but blocks have definitely been found since last week. And shouldn't the difficulty problem only affect transactions from exchanges and not from wallets? Does anyone know whats happening here and why the transaction hasn't gone through? Thanks!

Hi, I'm not tech guy to help you much, but you can search problem on web like for any other wallets. I think the coins in an old wallet, they never went out. Just as visually written as they are. If you have an old wallet.dat, try to paste and turn off/on again to sync. Some members who can help you, except devs Lunokhod, geekz, Skaia... Try to PM them if they don't respond here. The last few days they are not much in the mood.. Thanks for the help! I'm just curious because I had two transactions from anoncoin-qt to another anoncoin-qt wallet. Both were sent on 10/9 and one confirmed on 10/13 while the other one has yet to confirm. It doesn't make sense to me since the problem was supposed to just be on exchanges not the wallet from the source code. If the suspected problem is that exchanges are modifying the code and sending out transactions larger than 100kb why would anoncoin-qt be doing that as well? Also, the difficulty problem should only be delaying a transaction by 10 hours tops since blocks are still being found, it is just taking a while. I don't understand why it would be taking days or weeks to send something. I suggest that you try re-opening the senders anoncoin-qt and seeing that it joins up to the network properly. ie: move the mouse over the bottom right icons and tool tips will show the number of connections, or, type getpeerinfo in the debug window and you should get a list of all the peers you are connected to I understand that it - anoncoin-qt - should re-broadcast the transaction if it is not yet done ... This could explain why your transaction never got sent, with all the intermittent block solving maybe when you sent the transaction was at a time when your client could not find any newer nodes to talk to ... from my experience i've seen the connect count vary greatly with these difficulty fluctuations. [EDIT] for instance, i'm connected to 67 nodes atm ( upped MAX_OUTBOUND_CONNECTIONS ), i2p, tor, clearnet also, stick this in your anoncoin.conf: addnode=anoncoinmpkoerba.onion [EDIT2] but if ur just clearnet, be sure that you have: noirc=0 discover=1 and also, run the latest client and check your debug.log for version mismatches

afaik, if your transactions are making it to the block chain they'd at least be visible here: http://ancblockchain.com/chain/AnoncoinIf they were supersize xactions, they'd still be visible, even if they sat there for hours/days with zero confirmations being ignored by miners. you could fire up the client again and check, or follow a get raw and send raw procedure ... Check out this excellent resource so kindly provided by our friends at Dark coin: https://darkcointalk.org/threads/frozen-transactions-why-it-happens-and-how-to-fix-it.1649/

Run anoncoin-qt.exe -rescan, it shall solve the issue... He also has waited each time for the wallet to sync completely and kept the client open for a while after. He also has made sure he is connected to peers (hence why it is syncing). Just to clarify again, one of the transactions took a few days and the other transaction has yet to confirm and it has been about a week. Thanks for everyone's help I'm just wondering why this has happened.

This is false: unconfirmed transaction are not visible in the blockchain explorer (because not included in a block)... Those transactions are stuck in the mempool https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Protocol_specification#mempoolWhen K1773R will have mined them they will be in the block explorer. The solo-miners shall add this to their anoncoin.conf as already stated by K1773R. blockminsize=0 blockmaxsize=1000000 blockprioritysize=1000000 What about a transaction I made from Bittrex to Cryptsy? I have to say, I am really concerned about people not being able to even transfer coins from one wallet to the other. When is this going to get fixed? Who cares about Zerocoin if you can't even make a transaction.
Tell me why I shouldn't be worried?

Yep my coins are stuck, at this stage the foundation of the coin is broken - I care not about ZeroCoin at this point.,..

Yep my coins are stuck, at this stage the foundation of the coin is broken - I care not about ZeroCoin at this point.,.. I would rather they fork it to the multi aux pow first myself, that way at least the mining and normal TX problems would be over. I think most of us are realistic enough to know delays are inevitable with this sort of undertaking anyway. Basic anon is hard, Zerocoin has never even been done successfully before. Fix the foundation I say, let us mine, move coins around. Take whatever time they need with zerocoin. Those that believe can then mine, trade, and accumulate as desired.

robinson5 (and stealth923 ?), unconfirmed transactions can happen with every coin (and this is unrelated to the bigger-than-100kb-transaction-size issue from the exchanges) I'm not an expert so anyone feel free to correct, but there are at least 2 things you can do: ===================== UNCONFIRMED TRANSACTIONS What to do before saying Coin is broken ===================== if your peers connexions are not good enough, transactions could be not well broadcasted. I think unconfirmed transactions are re-broadcasted regularly if you leave the wallet open (every 90 minutes ?). If this doesn't help, try the following:1. Rescan while your wallet is shut down: linux: windows (I think, not sure): If the transaction isn't broadcasted to other nodes, you may not be very connected to others, or not enough. It might really be a network/peers issue with your wallet/computer/firewall/ISP (?) Do the following: 2. get your transaction id : Run the wallet, and in the details, get to the unconfirmed transaction id, right click to get the transaction id. Then go to the console inside the wallet (help > debug window > console) and type this: getrawtransaction <transaction ID> replace <transaction ID> with the actual transaction ID you got previously in the wallet sent transactions details. You will then get a very large number. What you should do now is give that number to someone else who has his own anoncoin wallet well connected to network of peers, and let him broadcast the transaction for you, by going in his wallet console (help > debug window > console) and typing: sendrawtransaction 02bf32c36565verylargenumbershortened ( the raw transaction is very bigger than this above ) CONCLUSION ======== If and only if these methods didn't work, provide any error message and/or screenshots before saying the coin is broken please. If you dont believe this can happen in other coins (even bitcoin), search for "darkcoin frozen transactions how to fix it". Hope that helps...

Man, the gobitgo guide for JohnTheRipper installation turned out to be much more work and hazzle than I thought. It stops at point 5.6 "nano Makefile" where what comes up is nowhere near the picture in the guide. So no closer to opening my wallet. Walletrecoveryservices is building in temptation, but 1000 anc is a very stiff price
