The bright side of very high diff raping situation, lol... Well I was wrong about that I guess, those dumps are insane.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg5424980#msg5424980

I think replacing KGW with a better difficulty algorithm would go a long way toward fixing this, as would increasing the hashrate from non-multipools (which is a social problem, not a technological one). Meeh is currently working on the KGW replacement, so it will not be long before there's a fix and hard fork.
Since I'm the only developer that can work on Zerocoin right now (meaning without any learning time), it makes more sense for me to stay working on this so that there's no chance of schedule slippage.
+1, keep plugging away at ZC, meeh can handle the difficulty algo. I'm going to go on the record supporting a diff. algo fix ASAP, preferably before the Nov. 1st ZC hardfork. People tend get their panties in a bunch about hardforks but it really isn't that big a deal. I say let's do it now.

DGW V3 from Darkcoin is really fucking good as far as difficulty adjustments go. You guys should use , unless you absolutely feel like you have to make your own code. The network is getting hammered by 1 pool though, they are dumping as much as they can as soon as the price rises.
+1 I vote for DGW, I've heard good things

We found it strange being our lasts withdraws with 0 confirmations. We decided to investigate. ::::: Normal Withdraw Today ::::: { "account" : "", "address" : "ALvNv6ydiqNuey129MXJV4tywqBPn9USyW", "category" : "send", "amount" : -47.78000000, "fee" : 0.00000000, "confirmations" : 0, "txid" : "0013dd6a25d222ceb203b1977d60a7db5f6f9b91c1c186f65517b29abcc8dfbc", "time" : 1412854096, "timereceived" : 1412854096, "comment" : "b w17686 e4050480", "to" : "b w17686 e4050480" }, 0 confirmations? why?... We can not trust the current app, we does not understand because on send 446.11059087, 310.91985481 ANC lost to a arbitrary nonexistent address in a original wallet.dat! The application is not storing correctly the private keys of anonymizer addresses. Final Thoughts We ask immediately withdraw their ANCs from Bleutrade. We do not know what may happen in the future, because this app is not updated over 1 year. We believe that there may exist bug in a hidden zero coin system that does not properly stores the transactions wallet.dat file. DGW is very nice but myriad of algorithms give people with different specialized machines ways to earn although each algo in the myriad can use DGW nope, il press meeh to use the original diff systems and not (re)targeting systems that aim to fix something that isnt fixable. all they do is adding obscurity and bugs.

If they want to dump it hard let them. With only 5 days left until zerocoin I'm sure there are many who would be happy to pick up some cheap coins.
That's 5 days left until Zerocoin on testnet. Some 22-23 days until it's on mainnet. Getting very close! Countdown can start now

"Anoncoin may fare differently, but history suggests the Anoncoin price will fall just as quickly as it rose. Consequently, altcoin investors would be wise to avoid centralizing too much of their holdings in one coin."One should of course never put all the eggs in one basket, but what history is he refering to regarding the price falling? I can't remember any flash crash.
