BLUETRADE IS REMOVING ANC FROM THEIR EXCHANGE.

From their webpage:

NOTICE: We're removing Anoncoin market on October 17. Withdraw your Anoncoins! | Possible #Anoncoin Bug Report. Please read: http://forum.bleutrade.com/index.php/topic,40.0.html

Good, their exchange really sucks to be honest. They barely have a few btcs of volume across all of their coins.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

Well, I'll be honest here - they are right by doing so. If they have these major problems and can't figure out the problem they owe it to their customers to remove ANC from trading. The same thing for Bittrex and Cryptsy.

Those ppl who sold, would dump at first sign of price going up, like 0.0045+,
so nothing is lost.
Just easier to buy for who really wants ANC.

And some of members who now complains sold much before price we see now.

Go out, call your grandma, take a drink... enjoy.
All devs working for you right now.

+1

People selling now are uninformed and not familiar with the lack of response and communication from the devs. This is not your common pump and dump, get rich fast ponzi scheme.

Sure. As i said a few pages back. Fixing this should be the first priority.

This bug, aux pow and difficulty adjustment fix should be fixed before the zerocoin implementation. There shouldn't be any problems with multiple hard forks considering anoncoins low adoption.

We need a secure and fully functional block chain before zerocoin imo.

exactly. as stated before; zerocoin is irrelevant if people can't withdraw properly.

Well... it might just be one whale (or a group) selling the same chunks over and over lowering the price. Many games played in crypto... ANC can jump back to 400K and higher in no time. My anc are in my wallet, safe and sound. They will stay there for a long time Smiley

My theory is that it is our mysterious high hashing power miner, who will stop dumping (and mining) after we change our algorithm to something not so easily gamed

This, if you look at the market books on cryptsy it seems to be one person and they've been constantly pushing price down with 5-18 btc sell walls. It looks like they are selling with one hand and buying with the other to keep enough coins on hand to dump and continue to push/supress coins to increase share to continue manipulation. When it gets low low, i'll throw down and eat up some of his supply but I can't do much really. He'sl probably only got $15k liquidity hes moving around in the ANC market but here that's enough to make pretty big waves as you've seen. It's kinda sexy to watch but also disheartening cause this dude/dudette's a dick. Some coins could easily withstand this manipulation but as anc has a smaller market cap without a super amount of volume, you can easily move the market up and down without too much money; it looks like hes probably playing with about 40 btc total, 15-25 on sells placed strategically to move price lower and then buys spread out a bit. If you watch his behaivor when certain numbers get hit he adjusts everything down systematically and all at once, using stoploss and bot probably. Not much you can do about it. I'd be tempted to agree that i could be multipool dumpage but I dont think so because of the cascading updates to the order book when you are actively trading against him. Someone could be hoarding coins by manipulating KGW but i think that's a secondary actor. And damn, as great as it is that our hashrate has increaesed I forgot what that meant in terms of including overweight transactions in blocks and the ability for our HERO to save us ^_^, maybe we should pool in some money for extra hash to help him mine blocks similar to how we donated to help anc devs go full time?

Was it a transaction from Cryptsy? I'm going to assume it was lol, it happens all the time. It sucks but they're not lost and its just that they probably weren't properly included in a block and are sitting in limbo but they're not lost. Sure you can bitch and moan that the price has dropped and it could fall further and you can buy back in and sell and reaccumulate but if you were going to do that then you can just as easily wait for this trend to hit bottom and accumulate then cause this probably isn't the only game your playing lol. It's nice to have some volatility again. Hopefully K1773R will find a block which helps him and he helps us get the transaction processed. Maybe since the coin is clearly 'dying' we will lose some hash power which will let K1773R find some blocks and be able to include the transaction.

Yeah I was wondering about that too; I think someone else bought the wall and I don't think that was in the cards but still see the previous buy walls setup based on the expectation prices would continue their downward trend. My guess is that if you sell into the buy walls a bit it will kick back up and see some bigger low priced walls start popping up again. But I'm just pissed I didn't buy nearly as much at .00075 as I should have ^_^ and too much near where dragon entered at .01's lol

When the AuxPow hard form comes out lets help out Meeh and Gnosis so that they can keep focusing on code. We need to make sure everyone updates.

In particular, lets contact all pools and exchanges immediately (once we have the hardfork details) to avoid problems (and get Bittrex and Bleutrade wallets active again)

We also need to update our website with the new github links and advertise the form on Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Not everyone checks this thread regularly.

Gnosis gave us his schedule for the week ahead and is promising daily updates. Lets do whatever we ca to help out so that he can focus on getting ready for Zerocoin beta.

This is a great community. Lets come together and help make ANC a leading cryptocurrency.

I have some news: the testnet will be delayed by 7 days. This is necessary because the code is not as close to being ready as I had anticipated when I made that estimate.

I have come up with a schedule for remaining components to finish. I will give updates at ~8:00 UTC each day with what parts of the schedule I have finished the previous day (I am at a UTC-7 timezone). Whenever possible, I will also provide evidence that the functionality works. Here's the schedule:

10-1410-1510-1610-1710-1810-1910-2010-21
CWalletCoinaccum. chkpts in block
wallet witness update
wallet mint logic
refactor CoinSpend
RPC create spend + impl.
store own spend pieces locally
RPC get seeding spend proofs
net: seed spends
net: receive and verify spends
store received spend pieces
wallet spend logicdebugging
(GUI if time permits)
debuggingdebugging

I know that one week may seem like forever to some of you who have been eagerly watching this thread and IRC, but this is only a 15% increase in the time required since I started working full time on this, so not an unusual delay compared to similar large software projects.

The new launch date and time will be 2014-10-22 at 16:00 UTC.

Bumping this post so everyone knows what you are working on this week. As promised Gnosis checked in last night to confirm CWalletCoin (10/14) is complete.
