bitcoin will go through alstreet which means we must do the mainstream for bitcoin according to the rules and the price of 1BTC has increased from before.

for now, I am still hesitant to do so, price fluctuations tend to always decrease. My estimate of stable prices is in December.

I have spare servers too... trick is that it needs a bit of coding to turn the open source explorer ready for Devcoin.  I was going to have a go at this over the next weekend if i get some time. Already forked the repo ready for it here https://github.com/FuzzyBearBTC/explorer

Ongoing share transfer

For Unthinkingbit, Novacadian and everyone,

Long ago I was assigned 1 ongoing share for being "Investor Administrator" http://coinzen.org/index.php/topic=147.msg34999.html#msg34999. Now the roles have changed a little and we should put more focus on updating the Devcoin source code. For that reason, I would like to transfer my ongoing share to Qtera, since he accepted to become Wallet Tester for 1 ongoing share.

Is there any objection?

HELP compiling devcoin!

Our codebase repository is getting warmer! Mainly thanks to @Ctya's pull requests. Now we need everyone to compile devcoin to help us build a solid new release!

Experience with Ubuntu 16.04

Downloaded core-f29c33c44e003d02ad2d5e3aff73e923229f52f0.

There was an error surrounding permissions. My assumption was ownership which lost some time. It ended up being the build_detect_platform shell script, which required a "chmod +x build_detect_platform" on it for the qmake and make instructions.

Now having issues with libcurl. "locate curl.h" returns  "/usr/include/curl/curl.h". Yet getting the following error:


g++: error: /home/nova/Downloads/core-f29c33c44e003d02ad2d5e3aff73e923229f52f0/src/curl/lib/.libs/libcurl.a: No such file or directory
Makefile:516: recipe for target 'devcoin-qt' failed
make: *** [devcoin-qt] Error 1

Will look into it further a little later.

Thats me buying @ 1 sat while everybody has been getting them for 10x less off steem.I then go and follow all the BS instructions and set up a steemit account,register with a steem exchange and the moment I put in my first order for this steem offer they pull the plug and say "sold out".Then they start this 2nd round where they just happen to have "some unsold out" coins going for 4x the price of the first offer.

What we have here are a bunch of insiders who are selling 10x below market to their buddies while suckers like me get shafted.

Anyway enjoy chomping on my sell walls the whole way up because only a pissy few btc is all it will take to poop on this partay.

That sucks, I didn’t even know they were “selling” via steemit.  I thought you had to earn them.  Any idea how many coins they sold at such low prices?

That said, looking at the books on both exchanges it would only take a few BTC to moon DVC.  That could get the ball rolling given DVC is legit and has an actual business plan. 

So try not to rain on this partay too soon, it can be a big win-win.

Is 1.0.1.6 the latest build of the windows wallet?

hello everyone, I have created an infrastructure of automated building devcoin(only devcoind, no devcoin-qt) on docker hub, that depending on well crafted dockerfile. the latest tag will follow master branch, and any new commit will be at testing tag first, then moved into latest.
Now the newest latest is not available because the new Dockerfile hasn't accept into official repo, and so the build is only tracing my own repo(emfox/core) but not the official one(devcoin/core), I will change is later.

please check it here, you can check the build log, whatever success or failure, or directly download and use the devcoind image.

I agree.
I have been working on this listing for quite some time.  Devcoin was just relisted at coinmarketcap.
We are still working out the details to update the source code link and list the DVC markets.
