Hopefully people keep pushing for refunds.  These Baby Fap's won't be worth crap after KnC finishes out shipping their November orders.  At least another 2PH will be added by them alone.  The mid-December ship date sounds flakey and not confident at best.

I PMed HashFast about MPP "formula" and delivery timeline.

I'm quite sure they will have their hands full trying to deliver batch 1, batch 2, and batch 3 before they can even begin thinking about MPP.  If they deliver MPP up front right away, that sucks for Batch 2 and sucks even worse for Batch 3.

Honestly anyone that comes out after KnC now is so screwed.  It sucks even harder for Cointerra and the Monarch's.

Major refunds and price drops need to happen or December/January/Feb is going to be a bloodbath.

Damned bitcoins! Why don't you lose your value?

me too....  4 @ 210btc......   my current projection with the mpp is I will get about 160btc back by may if they ship me 4 units dec15 and give me 400% after feb1st
It all depends on when/if we receive our units (expecially the mpp) in time.

Anyway my initial projection when they announced the delay was 10-20% of the btc back. Now, if they ship the mpp in time, it could be as "good" as 50%+.

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:
Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)
Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers

They've cost us all at least $10,000 plus all the lost revenue we don't mine with that hash every day. Fucked, in one word. Crude as it might be,  that's the perfect word. Fucked.

If they want to make it right they really need to just ship us the MPP modules with our equipment since its already guaranteed we will not make roi on BTC as promised. But, judging by what they have posted so far I don't see that happening. They are just going to hide behind the dec 31st date for refunds.

It's a deflationary currency by design.  It used to cost 10,000BTC for a pizza and 11,000BTC for a minirig preorder

The only way to beat deflation is to buy with fiat the same number of BTC as you spend on your preorder.  I did this for my trezors, as i did not want to be paying "the price of a car" for each.

This lesson I apparently did not learn when even when waiting a year for BFL to give me asics I paid hundreds of btc each for....

We know that aussiehash. I'm sure many people did their own risk assessments. We were supposed to get our equipment last month. I counted on it being late maybe 1 month? But 2 months is a lot in the mining world.

The reason I'm truly mad is because its obvious they knew a long time ago they were not going to hit the deadline.

I think everyone should spend a few of their teenage years on the streets to develop their sketchmeter.   No one will every save you from sketchy bastards except your own gut.

KNC and Bitfury were the only ones that really passed the 'good intentions' test.  Even Avalon seemed they just wanted to beat BFL to the punch and then stop caring

You're paying twice.  How about just keep your BTC and buy another 236 BTC instead?

What I wonder is if they have a chip yield higher than the number sold (the waiting list machines can bump to batch two), plus they have a certain number of people demanding a refund (especially very early buyers) ... would it be possible to strike a balance enabling the batch 1 machines to ship with more hashpower?

Of course, as soon as people heard refunds were flowing, a large proportion would rush to refund...

At the same time, if people heard the machines were going to ship with 800 gh/s, plus MPP boards later, fewer might want to refund ...  Undecided

I'm not very optimistic about them having extra chips in the first run since they have said the first run was a engineering run. I was just being extremely wishful. Lets hope they put in the 2nd and 3rd wafer run orders in. Or else we will be waiting some time for MPP chips because of the new years(Chinese).

That's exactly what I mean, either buy the preorder amount of BTC and use that to pay, or spend your existingBTC and immediately replenish what you have spent
