HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s

Guys, when I ordered for batch 4, I'm certain it said 'January' for delivery.  Now its changed.  Does anyone have a screenshot by any chance of the old site for BabyJet?

This is exactly why we who have been called whiners and complainers post here. Unsuspecting guy buys thinking all is right beucase their website is super misleading and changes terms every week. All which has been pointed out in this thread.

On the one hand, to me, the statements about being "on track" for October when they were clearly not suggest malice.

On the other hand, all this inept fumbling around with their message - the relationships with Taco, CypherDoc, the odd appearance and disappearance of official reps, and other things (e.g. the signature raffle of a BJ) - suggest stupidity.

Which is it?  I'm still not sure, but I think we'll find out on about December 31st.

What is interesting is the different description, they don't talk about "anticipated delivery dates" anymore, they just point you out their guaranteed delivery date.
Maybe someone suggested them to do so in order not to have legal problems?

HashFast also announced their second-gen chip months ago.  You must have missed that too.

Thats a question for Hashfast. If you are asking me if i think they are, answer is probably most likely not. Still need to package the chip, that is if they actually got the substrate today.

So it looks like HashFast updated their terms of sale today.   Here are the notable changes I saw

New Sections added for new batches:
Section 3

(d)     Guaranteed Product Delivery Dates – Batch 3.  The “Batch 3 Guaranteed Delivery Date” for units of Product from Hashfast’s third production batch is:  March 31, 2014.  The order confirmation sent by Hashfast to Buyer may state an earlier delivery date for that order.  Buyer may cancel the portion of the order that remains undelivered by Hashfast by the Batch 3 Guaranteed Delivery Date (or other delivery date stated in Buyer’s order) at Buyer’s request, and Hashfast will refund the payment for such cancelled units.   This cancellation and refund is Buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy for Hashfast failing to deliver by a specific date.  To avail itself of this remedy, Buyer must cancel the order before such unit(s) are delivered by Hashfast.

(e)     Guaranteed Product Delivery Dates – Batch 4.  The “Batch 4 Guaranteed Delivery Date” for units of Product from Hashfast’s fourth production batch is:  March 31, 2014.  The order confirmation sent by Hashfast to Buyer may state an earlier delivery date for that order.  Buyer may cancel the portion of the order that remains undelivered by Hashfast by the Batch 4 Guaranteed Delivery Date (or other delivery date stated in Buyer’s order) at Buyer’s request, and Hashfast will provide a refund for such cancelled units.  This cancellation and refund is Buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy for Hashfast failing to deliver by a specific date.  To avail itself of this remedy, Buyer must cancel the order before such unit(s) are delivered by Hashfast.


New Section added for refunds:
Section 3

(i)       ALL SALES ARE FINAL.  NO ORDER OR ANY PART THEREOF MAY BE RESCHEDULED OR CANCELLED WITHOUT HASHFAST’ PRIOR WRITTEN CONSENT EXCEPT FOR CANCELLATIONS PERMITTED UNDER THIS SECTION 3.

(j)       REFUNDS.  Any refunds due to Buyer will be made in United States Dollars, and for the purposes of calculating refunds, amounts paid in Bitcoin or other virtual currencies will be deemed paid in United States Dollars at the exchange rate given by Hashfast to its customers on the order date.  Refunds for partial order cancelations or returns will be adjusted for any discounts previously given to Buyer for volume purchases.

Old: (c) THE ARBITRATION WILL BE CONDUCTED IN IN SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, U.S.A.
New: (c) THE ARBITRATION WILL BE CONDUCTED IN IN SAN FRANCISCO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, U.S.A.

If Hashfast incurs exchange rate losses due to Buyer’s failure to pay when payments are due, Hashfast shall be entitled to equivalent compensation from Buyer for such losses.

They are basically saying that they won't deliver by the end of the year imho.
