Any idea when we can actully expect something useful to get done at the company.
thanks for the latest audio... looks like the company is going to be allowed to sell a few chips by the creditors committee. Barber's salary reduced and decastro to commission only.... received a letter from the United States Bankruptcy Court about an "Order for Relief". what does it mean and what I have to do? That is just a fancy way of saying the company's request to file for Bankruptcy was approved by the court. All you really have to do at this point is register your claim with the court. You can do this yourself easily enough. It is basically a one page form where you give your name, address, say how much you are owed by Hashfast and provide supporting evidence for your claim such as a copy of the sales invoice showing what you paid. There are some links to the appropriate form back a couple pages. According to the court record, some creditors (including me) who filed claims have a remark "Informal proof of claim". What does it mean? when I filed my claim, I attached the photocopy of bank statement of wired transfer, and the printed email from Hashfast about the order completion. what have I missed?

I posted this about a month ago, but it's probably worthwhile to put it up again.
Proof of claims need to be filed with the bankruptcy court. The address is
Office of the Clerk United States Bankruptcy Court Northern District of California P.O. Box 7341 San Francisco, CA 94120-7341
You should include a cover letter stating the case name (Hashfast Technologies, LLC) and number (14-30725) and requesting that the Clerk file the claim.
I did that almost a month ago. So far no letter response from them and afaik I have no way to find out if I'm on the creditors list or not.

You can register PACER and then search your claim (it takes some time because you need to wait for physical mail containing your username and password). Alternatively, you can pm me your name, and I can help you look for your claim on the court record.

Not sure, can you PM me your real name so I can look up your claim? thank you! I have sent you a PM. Took a look at this. The reason a claim is marked as "informal" is if you submit documentation about your claim and don't use the official claim form. You can get the claim form from the US Courts website.... http://www.uscourts.gov/uscourts/RulesAndPolicies/rules/BK_Forms_Current/B_010.pdfIf you submit information about your claim multiple times make sure you reference your original claim number and note that you are amending your original filing other wise you will end up with multiple claims which will just make a big mess.

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive: Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers

What isn't clear by reading the last 2 pages of this thread? Fill out the claim form posted by pmorici, attach your proof, and mail to the bankruptcy court at the address I posted. If you have problems with that I can recommend a good lawyer to help you. But quite frankly, no one should need a lawyer for the bankruptcy, as all of us are represented by committee counsel. ------ http://www.uscourts.gov/uscourts/RulesAndPolicies/rules/BK_Forms_Current/B_010.pdfProof of claims need to be filed with the bankruptcy court. I just received in the mail a document which appears to be from the Chairman for the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors. It proposes the hiring of a particular legal firm. I just wanted to check with you all to make sure this is legit. Also since I received this document can I assume that I am actually on the creditors list? (I will still check with PACER once my registration info arrives in the mail)

So can you believe that Eduardo was bragging about buying back all of hf for a mere 5 million dollars through a Venuzuelan company/front, letting the creditors bicker and fight over it, while he got all the chips and is hashing. HA HA HA. He would have screwed his customers to the very end, raking in millions while they keep on exhausting themselves in endless legal battles... what a fucked up and sad episode for bitcoin...

Can you post a scan of the document or PM it to me? The chairman of the committee did not mail anything suggesting any law firm and the committee voted a couple weeks ago appointing a lawyer to represent creditors so this does not make sense. You can see that a few pages ago in this thread. Perhaps you are misinterpreting it. Please post or PM me the letter and I will tell you what it means.

Baker did send out the motion to hire them to all of the creditors which contained a statement to the court from the committee chair stating why the committee selected Baker. I got that a few days ago.

The creditors aren't bickering or fighting over anything. The committee representing the creditors is very much unified in holding the people responsible for this mess accountable. Further more Eduardo might be bragging but he is just as full of shit as when he said Hashfast was going to deliver by October. That is to say; there is zero truth to your comment HashingHarry.
