In the real world, companies fail and go through bankruptcy all the time. Not every company is BFL.
Normally those companies don't have millions of dollars worth of orders lined up with 90% profit margins before declaring bankruptcy. Hashfast was very successful, they just "mismanaged" their money is all. BFL who had similar delays was also very successful but they didn't lose their $45m profit. I'm berating the windfall-seekers and conspiracy theorists. They deserve it. Losing money by gambling on Bitcoin ASICs is not a valid excuse for A) ignoring contract law to justify greed or B) making up zany defamatory nonsense about drug-dealing self-mining arsonist bookies.
Isn't changing the contract several times ignoring contract law? If Hashfast would have just followed FTC guidelines (like the ones BFL is currently being sued for breaking) then preordering wouldn't have had to be a gamble. The only windfall seekers are Hashfast by promising that they can give a windfall(full btc refunds) and acquiring customers because of it. If they did manage to tunnel the money out of Hashfast then that would be a massive windfall. HF made the worlds fastest ASIC and almost recovered from their early mistakes. Throwing a tantrum and screaming 'it was a scam all along' is reprehensible and I am not afraid to condemn such behavior. What happens if you go to a casino and only start shouting "OMG IT'S A SCAM" *after* you lose at the craps table? Will anyone feel sorry for you? Or will the security guards help you find an exit?
How did they almost recover from their mistakes? They have had a working ASIC since January. Their one mistake was that their massive stacks of money magically disappeared. Honestly what happened to the money?

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Why isn't that argument in court? They promised delivery by Oct/Nov/Dec, but they failed and had working units in January? How is not that a fail/scam?

Any news on hashfast, or any timeframes to when they can start providing refunds? i thought they started selling alot of items?
No refunds and non will be. They sell their new products but we'll get jack shit. They will, probably, soon start posting new photos of themselves grinning while holding their alleged new products.

If I understand correctly:
Proof of claims should only be filed against Hashfast Technologies LLC (case 14-30725) and not the other HashFast company?

Proof of claims should only be filed against Hashfast Technologies LLC (case 14-30725) and not the other HashFast company? Yes, but the deadline passed. The two cases were "substantively consolidated". If you don't disagree with them with your credit there wasn't any need to file anything.

Still funny that I got the "substantively consolidated" notice (by mail) after the deadline for filing PoC had passed.

Which IP? How much do you think it to be worth? They claim to have like 5 BTC.

I don't think Phinn's and your debunked conspiracy theories about secret mines and secret wallets panned out any more than cedivad's months of bragging about how his lawyer was going to easily put people in jail. Instead of blathering paranoid defamatory nonsense, let's now discuss the latest court filings: HF has filed suit against Uniquify to get their (IE our) wafers back, while Uniquify wants to hold them hostage. The law seems to be on HF's side, so we will probably get the wafers back and may even see some damages awarded for the loss in value/extortion.

I am sure they will release them. They seem to be trying to bypass the creditor process and get money that they are not entitled to.

As always, the rest of your nonsense when not deliberately misleading post doesn't deserve an answer.

You were the one "bragging" for months about your unstoppable lawyer's righteous wrath. But when HashFast got its day in court, you folded like a cheap lawn chair! He is sort of not my lawyer anymore
Misguided and counterproductive as their actions were, at least MM & Professor Pete had the guts to follow through with their vain attempts to bleed a turnip, unlike your empty bluster and hollow accusations. Where is the proof of HF's "private private datacenter?" Why isn't your almighty lawyer telling the judge about your silly conspiracy theories? Put up or shut up!
