My stats page doesnt work properly even after deleting stats.db and I havent assigned any coin value

using the latest...mine was hanging until the latest update and dont go by the package versions.. it may say 1.1 but that doesnt mean it hasnt been updated.

Quote
why is always Efficiency showing 0,00%?

because right now you have to manually put in your payouts so it can calc eff.

see the 0.00000 in the numerator, try clicking on that and then changing it.

Quote
sorry, I do not understand whats going on there except that someone is buying/selling much coins...
any hints?

yeah but go to that thread for hints.. this one is too long to get into a separate convo

Only way the price of BTC can move up is if you all stop mining! And do not forget to take down all the big pools too... or, Amazon and or e-bay start accepting BTC. Smiley
I think, I am done with this experiment.  In need to get my 2.something  BTC more and then, I stop.
At 370 MHas/s it is absolutely pointless. I did hope, that hopping helps me a bit but I am not sure anymore.

Using the up-to-date c00w version, it mines slush even well above 10% with the default scheduler.  Slush is set to mine_slush, penalty=1

I just watched mine_slush work perfectly with scheduler=OldDefaultScheduler - went from bithasher at 38% to slush 0 - 10% then back to bithasher. I also have penalty set to 1.

lol that wont work, anyways the only reason the price is down is mybitcoin. Nothing has changed fundamentally with bitcoin.. still this is a better convo for the speculation subforum.

spend bitcoin lets you do amazon.. but it isnt native to amazon.

yeah that price is discouraging. Hopping does actually help the math is undeniable.we had a couple of slow days last week when we added small pools and didnt have slicing. the difficulty is looking to actually go down next time but yeah more so if people like you leave. Also ruxum opened up to asian currencies this week and will do europe next  week, which will really open the market.

but I can not predict the future, wish I could but I will give you a little tidbit of knowledge.

The rich people here, started to mine when it was pointless to mine.

any more talk about this and it really should be in /speculation so to not drive c00w nuts.

I fixed the default slicer to hop properly when pools go over the difficulty threshold and all schedulers should now ignore api_lag for backup pools.

BitMinersUnion.org at 30%
PolMine.pl at 34%
MtRed.com 7%

For no apparent reason (no errors in bitHopper screen session) work get sent to BitMinersUnion and PolMine and then MtRed for a while and then it switches back to  BitMinersUnion and PolMine.pl. Why?

I started the script without any additional options

This has gotten really strange.  I am getting switched from pool at 16% to a pool with 30+%. This makes absolutely no sense to me at the moment. ( I am running the latest c00w version)

While reading what I wrote, use the most friendliest and relaxing voice in your head.

@Eskimo
The default is time based slicing. Each server gets equal time per server round.
So if you start partway through a server round it will be bouncing between all three equally without weighting there percentage. Its simple and it works. If you want to use a more advanced slice scheduler user altsclicescheduler.

The default does not look at shares. It doesn't look at rate. It only does time per server round. By server round I mean the pools time to generate a block.

Yeah! Finally whitelisted. To the spaminator! Grin

Could someone with regex knowhow take a peek at namebit.org's api? Last time I had it working was in an old ryo build, but I like c00w's altslicer implementation. Here's what I ported from the last working:

#[namebit]
#name: Namebit.org
#namecoin: Yep
#mine_address: pool.namebit.org:10000
#api_address: http://namebit.org/
#api_method: re
#api_key: current_share_count>(\d+)</td>
#url: http://namebit.org/details?username=http%3A%2F%2Fnamebit.org%2Fmy_account%2F(user)s

TIA

@eskimo, have you tried --scheduler=AltSliceScheduler? It's operation is a good deal more intuitive to my mind.
