Hi Dargo - seems like you're the kraken support? I have a ticket in but there's not much indication as to how long it takes to get a response.

I booked a withdrawal a couple of days ago and tried to cancel it yesterday. I click the cancel button, confirm it and get an error message.

It would be nice to know if my withdrawal is still scheduled to happen or not, as my balance is currently (an uncomfortable) zero.

Thanks

Edit to add
Just read the last couple of pages of this thread. Shame to hear lots of unhappy customers. I was raving about kraken recently - here's hoping there ain't any hiccups on the horizon.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

So if I have experienced a delay of 2 business days already I should expect to receive the deposit tomorrow? Or will I have to wait a further 2 business days? Thanks for your help Dargo, much appreciated.

The delay will be at least 2 business days over what the transfer would have otherwise taken. But waiting times for SEPA transfers can vary. Even if they normally post for you next business day, this doesn't mean it will always be that way. Just recently we had some users who normally had next day service, but for some reason their SEPA deposits took 4 business days. We state that SEPA takes 1-4 business days for a reason, because they can take up to 4 business days and it doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. With the temporary extra 2 business day delay, SEPA could temporarily take 3 - 6 business days. Tomorrow would be the earliest you can expect the transfer, but it could take longer.

Or it could take over a month...

Spoke to my bank and they said that they had already provided all details to your bank previously...

Anyone had a deposit over the limit? Are those daily limit 24 hours after deposit or new day?

Why could the withdraws be Pending but no withdraws done in 48 hours before?

This. Mt Gox is going to drive so many new users to Kraken. It's really good that Payward (Kraken) lets themselves be heard in the community and distantiates themselves from Mt Gox. We need professional exchanges that won't gamble with our funds and who communicate, and Payward's recent actions are a clear indication for me that Kraken is a very reliable platform that can be trusted.

Hi Dargo. We're experiencing issues with our trade software because of open orders. The https://api.kraken.com/0/private/Balance seems to return available balance (even that part that is in open orders and is not available for trades) which causes inssuficient funds errors.... Is there a way to get available tradable balance directly?

Thanks!

That problem popped up with me a couple of times, too. Support once said they would look into it...

FAIT deposits: any news would be great. Waiting is horrifying ;-)

I had 2 withdraws sent today, 1 was pending for 4 days.  This may be a sign things are moving forward now.
I requested the second withdraw earlier today, so that was quick turn around.

I have always received great service from Kraken.

Btcx, Dargo

So now 3 days passed since your announcement, and my USD withdraw is still pending. If I try to cancel it I get "internal Error" message.
I replied to the ticket to get it converted in Euro, but no answer...

Net Result: my money blocked since 20 of Jan (33 days..) and no support answer on my ticket since 13 of Feb (10 days ago) despite my replies...

That red cancel button is misleading because you actually can't cancel withdrawals after the first minute or so after you place them (we need to change this so the button turns grey or something similar). A support agent will answer your ticket, but the update is that we'll be cancelling all the outstanding withdrawals soon (should be tomorrow) and then we'll start the euro conversion. We couldn't cancel the withdrawals immediately because we needed to go through them and double check to make sure we don't cancel any that have already been sent. We're working to get this done as soon as possible, but it's a highly manual process, so it's not fast.

Dargo, still no progress.. it's not acceptable behaving like this. Kraken knows I am blocked since 35 days now, so if I am really an exception or unlucky user please give the right priority to this manual process!

Thanks Karim

That`s probably why there is such an arbitrage opportunity between kraken and bitcoin.de...

51hours for me. And what is especially frustrating: no information. kraken is by far the best bitcoin exchange out there. But if they want to stay ahead of competition, they desperately need to focus more on customer needs, transparancy, information, and service.

there is a information about the fidor api Wink
but it's frustrating anyway (and of course more frustrating for everyone who waits several weeks, but this is not the normal case)

Agreed - they are losing their competitive advantage. One of the reasons I promote Bitcoin is that it offers an alternative to retail banks and their lousy customer service. Transparency with our money is key.

That's it! Especially nowadays full of this Gox scam.

This is disappointing.

Big Kraken fan, but the timing of this -- given current pricing and the Gox fiasco in particular -- is both unfortunate for traders, and slightly unsettling.

Still, thanks for the updates. Please get it sorted soon.
