I've got news for you buddy. Blackmail and extortion are serious criminal offences.

The Mafia also claim to be running 'businesses' it doesn't make them free to break the law though. This looks really bad for you. You are blackmailing serious businesses which have globally recognised partners.

I've been quietly holding a large number of Actm shares for awhile now. I just caught up on all the drama in this thread. You (mostly) all are acting like a bunch of petulant children and I cant tell the trolls from the trolls trolling trolls.

Just shut up, wait, and let Ken do his job. Every minute he wastes on this nonsense is lost productivity in much more important tasks.

someone willing to spend a million dollars on bitcoin miners is not going to be swayed by the comments of fudsters with hangover orange piss colored ignore buttons.

in short, let the man work, act like respectful business investors and learn some patience.

What's immoral?

Sure immoral but more importantly illegal. Don't worry it's not anyone on here you need to answer to but do expect a knock on your door from the authorities.

After consulting with minerpart I will report these threats to blackmail and extort money from companies on Bitcointalk to an FBI Field Office.

We believe a crime has already been committed, but if this poster actually proceeds to Troll because no money has been paid to him, then certainly things will be serious enough for an investigation.

I will start a thread to collate the relevant posts and if anyone sees any Trolling from the member 'pankkake' after today can you please quote them on the thread which I will link to here:

This is a terrible idea. I think it can be filled under "wasting police time" and that can come with hefty fines.

It is not wasting police time in the slightest. If you think a crime has been committed then you can of course report it to the authorities. If you lie about what has happened/report it as worse than it was in order that they take it on as a case, and then it becomes apparent that you've lied, THEN you are wasting police time (and likely a couple other things).

You are not wasting police time by reporting something that turns out not to be a crime. The general public is not expected to know the ins and outs of criminal or civil legality.

pancake is attempting to extort money from us shareholders and Ken, and that is blackmail.

He's effectively said, "Give me x amount of money and I will not harm your company until 24 hours have passed and then an additional payment for every 24 hours thereafter."

Good work Stuart.

Either way, can we just let cooler heads prevail and chalk this up to someone attempting something he found humourous (which wasn't really all that funny) and just leave it at that? I highly doubt he expected to actually generate revenue from the stunt, and he's well aware that it takes 5 seconds to ban him from the thread altogether.

How about we ALL just give this shit a rest and focus on something more constructive.

Good work

The Bitcoin world is awash with extortion. For example hackers take control of exchanges or company sites and only return control after large sums have been paid over to them. So this is not something to be taken lightly.

As you may have seen in the news yesterday, The Silk Road operator was hacked and made huge payments to cease the hacking. He also hired a hitman and paid him 125kUSD to kill someone who had betrayed his trust. He is being charged with this. So extortion in the BTC industry is very high up on the FBI agenda right now. It is high up because it is a very serious and damaging offense. To protect ACtM and ALL companies on this forum we need to have a zero tolerance policy to extortion and blackmail.

November 23, 2013 17:07   Sell   0.004000   220   0.880000   BTC

This is from Cryptostocks. What would you guys say the price is at right now? Or is there no way to calculate that in such an illiquid environment??
