Dear users, We are more than 400k now. Thank you for staying with CEX.IO! We would like to hear your feedback. What you like most about CEX.IO and what you would change if you could. Please, share your feature requests with us. I am sure I speak for many when I say we'd love for you all to bring back some semblance of cloud hashing, be it SHA, Scrypt, or Multi. I have little reason to continue using the cex platform for mining with my own equipment anymore, as I used to reinvest some of the profits in this manner. While I do love the site and trade platform, the single week of 0% trade was not enough to keep me interested. Trading GH/s was the primary reason I liked the site, so again, without that I don't know why we should bother? |

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I know that Coinbase has this feature but they only accept Visa, which is a downside for me. There are other features that you may not be looking into because you don't necessarily need to. Thanks for your feedback. We understand you — we will be happy ourselves to make cloud mining and GHS trading a big part of our platform again. We are looking for the possible solutions.
A big thing right now for some is the ability to purchase with a credit card. I know that Coinbase has this feature but they only accept Visa, which is a downside for me. There are other features that you may not be looking into because you don't necessarily need to. So CEX has put on new design clothes, huh? looking as a Snow White now But I like it It's nice, but @cex.io for the last 24 hours my hash is not showing up on ghash.io and my miners are running fine. I even took them down and pointed them on another pool for a few minutes to check. Miners work fine, so apparently I have been mining for free for a day. Fix this please, I have been debating on whether or not to keep mining there and this is unacceptable. Especially since I am technically losing money since cloud mining is nil. |

From what I understand, it takes a bit longer first time you use your credit card as they need to verify your details. Should be faster later on. ... I wanted bitcoins now... not tomorrow!
CEX.io probably want the same, it's in their best interest to quickly process transactions. But there are strict regulations for money handling businesses (and high risk of fraud) and they need to comply with them. |

I agree, but is it not at least good customer service to let your loyal customers know why their product is delayed? I feel that is one of the points sadly missing from BTC CS. |

It would be nice to know when making a purchase though it might take a bit of time to be able to do it.

Good to see you got your issue fixed.  I'm sticking to buying bitcoins otc for now, still less hassle for me. I resolved my issue myself, or it was just quietly fixed. Gonna keep mining until I reach payout and pull the plug until cloud mining returns, and the site is updated completely. |

I had thought with a credit card I'd be buying coins immediately Yes, I can see why you'd think that. Me too. Credit cards give that feeling of immediate purchasing power. But really if you think about it, it isn't common that a bank statement may appear on your bill 3-4 days after you actually made the purchase online. With Bitcoin and the non-reversability of TXs you got to be that much safer. I'm sure they will do all in their power to reduce that time, but not sure how far they can actually push it. |
