Update 7 - Bitcoin Miami Conference

Had a great conversation with the guys at CoinFlash ATM. They encouraged us to swarm the website to add Nxt, I will handle this early in the week. Great open source system that facilitates an easy way to add additional currencies. Once we end up on this ATM, we will use it as leverage to work our way on the rest of them.

Guys so the decenteralized asset exchange does the matching automatically or does the issuer listen and do the matching O_o? Can anyone link me to a proper explanation? I already pmed CfB to send me test nxt to test the asset exchange.

It seems the author got all his/her ideas from NXT thread of https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=397183.1140 and took the issues without context. NXT community has discussed almost all the issues in quite details in that thread.

Yeah, I would just ignore that idiot, he offers a paid service for crypto advice, he's obviously a miner and not worth our time to discuss.

Some people with twitter should respond to the tweet and how Hazard feels regarding NXT. The guy calls many coins "SCAMS" from what I remember (go look in the original BTC NXT posting lol). But anything negative needs to be corrected with good evidence against the negative.

Hazard makes a living selling his little articles (if you can call them that) regarding Crypto investments.  He is angry about Nxt because he didn't tell his followers to invest and now he looks like an idiot, which is fitting, because he is actually an idiot.

Unofficial PR Committee agrees with the decision to have a paid 1 minute sponsor spot at the Let's talk... (one favourite Bitcoin show).

There will be also 4 new shows, but I wouldn't like to spend too much NXT. If we wanted to be in all 5 shows for 6 months, it would cost 1.3 mega NXT.

I am for: 1 minute long ad (=sponsor spot) at one show for 3 months for 270k NXT. Or: 500k NXT for 6 months.
(maybe we could add one more show..)

I will be exchanging NXT probably after Vircurex boom, if there will be any. So price in NXT could be lower.

I am asking the community if we can spare some unclaimed coins for this advertisement. Also if we have any private stakeholders who would like to sponsor this. And ofcourse if you agree with this all.

I don't want to write everything publicly, so who wants details, I will send him them.

There are 1-2 minutes for sponsors (30 sec or 60 sec spot from the interview with Nxt speaker). Those sponsors would sponsor electrum, mastercoin etc... or NXT.

I would run an NXT show that focuses on the community, and am talking with a member of your community about developing that.

Those things are free because you have an interesting project, and I genuinely want to keep up to date on it.  The NXT show will only be interesting to people who want to know about NXT, and the interview will only run on one episode of Let's Talk Bitcoin.  Sponsoring LTB as suggested for 6 months means our growing audience hears about NXT, in whatever light you want - I suggested having many spots talking about different features, or exciting updates - Things that make people want to learn more about NXT.

It should also be noted that we only run 2 minutes worth of sponsor content per hour so buying out a minute slot means half our inventory is occupied for that amount of time, and Anthony Di Iorio already bought out a 30s slot for a year starting in February.

This might be one of the of most exciting updates. Justabit introduced me to the GoCoin (payment processor) team. We had an opportunity to talk about Nxt PoS and what separates it from the onslaught of other coins.  JustaBit is passing on final information for Peer...  once we have a solid wallet, GoCoin will be ready to look deeper into Nxt This was a great step and feel we opened up another door today.

As a side note, JustaBit and I attended one of the panels that had GoCoin. JustaBit mentioned Nxt during the audience question segment  and later in the meeting, GoCoin made a mention of Nxt and JustaBit stood up and said "Oh yeah". Fun moment... I was surprised at how many people at least heard of Nxt in some fashion.

I think a paid 30s spot on a few epidsodes of Lets Talk Bitcoin would be a good idea, especially if the spot is different on each episode, comes from one of our community members, and is used to introduce or highlight new features or developments in Nxt. It doesn't have to sound like an ad.
