Try to find that one first and people might take you more seriously then

No problem, if you think I am a clown then I will shut up about it completely from now on. But don't blame me when somebody else finds out one day.
It is so obvious that even the dumbest script kiddy would be able do do it.

On Nodecoin/NXTcoin:

1) Who will buy them? It seems to me that it will follow the mine & dump path, so:
2) It will devalue NXT

PS: Ricky do you have skype? If yes PM me your ID please...

2 seems to contradict 1.  IMO, the more active nodecoin is, the more valuable NXT is
Don't get me wrong I try to understand the market reaction here..

Can you elaborate some more?

It will drive more transactions on the NXT main chain.  So the more things run on top of NXT like nodecoin, the more traffic NXT gets as a whole, and more transactions = more fees paid out.

Let's call them Nxtcoins so that everybody will stop calling Nxt Nxtcoins

OUTSTANDING.  bravo.  all agreed?

That will only make nodecoin==nxt. Do you want that happen?

A holder of Nxt that had a true vulnerability that could destroy the whole thing wouldn't shut up about it because the community won't pay him upfront.

We aren't stupid.

Klee has a point. There is a chance that Nodecoin/NXTcoin could fail in the price.

Maybe we have to call it something completely different. When it fails, it wouldn't destroy the image of NXT.

In NXT there is no mining, but forging. We can call it Titanium for example.

@ Wesley

Not to be a pain in your ass, but could we get a user option to show block/transaction/whatever times as AM/PM as opposed to 24 hour time if so desired?

that is awesome! no need to build any fancy features for this into the client though. i hope he doesn't try to do that. all we need is some clear cut syntax that service providers who build services ONTOP of the block chain (probably web based) can know how to interpret. In the client we just need to be able to issue a few specific commands like bid x amount on id number y. im sure cfb knows all this.

I hope he does.

EDIT: like the groups... is it possible to make them collapse to just the header i.e. save space when you are not using them?

Groups are now collapsible.

@ Native English people

Guys, I'm working on Digital Goods Store and need few words/phrases/terms for the following:

- To place goods for sale
- Opposite to above (when u cancel selling this goods)
- A comment that is left by a customer when they r (not) satisfied with the quality of purchased goods
- A tag that is used to describe goods to make it easier to find them (like "game", "online", "mmorpg" for online game codes)
- A process of send goods to buyers (actually it's publishing encrypted text on the blockchain)

nice Wink

Why only digital goods? This idea by BCNext is lame. Make it a store for everything.

I get it now. It is a digital "goods store".

+1. Call it something cheap like minicoins or dogcoins.

I don't get it... Point to a possible fatal flaw (very unlikely), ask NXT upfront, don't give a clue whatsoever, get pissed in 2 seconds, leave angry.

Simply use (multiple) tags to categorize an item and call them tags, IMO.

Not quite sure what you mean exactly. How does the DGS work? I'd think of it as simply letting a URI being the product, this could be a redeem link to a merchants eCommerce system or a direct download link of a file. Not sure what to call it yet.  Grin

maybe though we dont need that much. this is going to be the territory of dedicated service providers. probably these service providers will just offer a html front end for scanning the block chain, condensing, organizing and displaying relevant data. inorder to interact with that service provider you will do it through your nxt client not their webiste. the website will be for displaying of information only. and there can be lots of competing providers for this service. i dont think there is any point in imagining that clients will handle this sort of thing ontop of everything else. probably only want a field for "the fact that i am listing an item for sale in digital goods store" "identification number" "price" "# of blocks until expire" "all other information". And just let the syntax for the "other information field" develop organically and naturally, i wouldn't try to plan that bit.

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

its important not to centrally plan too much. it stifles innovation. certain things its best to just let develop organically and naturally.
