Thx, guys. After reading ur replies I came to the following types of transactions:

- Listing
- Delisting
- Quantity change
- Purchase
- Delivery
- Rating

Does it sound good?

Does it cover all possible scenarios?

Why do you blindly make this digital storefront for BCNext when a storefront for every good would be much more interesting? Or do I get something not? Wouldn't it be better to merge digital- and nondigital stuff when developing the storefront?

It has certainly been an interesting ride but it has been made clear to me that "software engineering" is not wanted by those writing the software and therefore I feel that I have nothing more to contribute.

You mean that you didn't come to an agreement with CfB/Jean-Luc?

I think it's because of the "password" discussion.
People want 50 character long, or some special character etc.. Like it would renforce the security.

But 35 basic character, like in the oriiginal NRS, is already more than enough.

well i haven't heard anything from ciyam about this in this topic. Or I overlooked it. Anyway, even in the original NRS it states 35 characters and use special characters, so that's what I'm doing.

Alright. Is JL working on the integration at this moment with your client?

Yes, it will probably not be in the next release (0.8.9) but in the one after that most likely.

No time for discussion. I'll implement only digital goods, someone then could add extra functions. U can start the discussion though.

Just to let you guys know that I will be "unwatching" the topic shortly.

It has certainly been an interesting ride but it has been made clear to me that "software engineering" is not wanted by those writing the software and therefore I feel that I have nothing more to contribute.

I wish you guys all the best.

Hope you will be back soon. You've contributed a lot of interesting post to Nxt!

CIYAM leaves?  Bad bad news

He is not leaving us he will just not be following this monster thread.
I can't say I blame him, discussions here last pretty long and it might become overwhelming at the times.

He is still working on AT and he stays with NXT.

In my opinion, and this is just my opinion, we are discussing a bit much and everybody are throwing these great ideas out, but they are just ideas, work still has to be done. It might be better to finish first one thing and then get to another and we need deadlines, but we already mentioned that. Hope Rickyjames can take a charge of a leadership committee and set some deadlines, he would be a right man for this job.
I repeat maybe I am wrong but this is how I see it.

I'm not sure but isn't this better;

"You will receive 1 NXT Fee once all assets have been sold"

Again. I'm not sure.

In this example since there's only 1 asset to be sold yes, but if you make a sell order of 10,000 not all will be sold at once. Only at the end will you have received the full amount of nxt (when everything is sold).

There will exist gateways so assets of other coins can be traded in AE. If you bought DOGEasset in AE, you can withdraw DOGE for it through the gateway.

Fine by me *feels a bit sheepish* I like it as my girlfriend (who has never used an exchange) gets it. Those used to exchanges *know* intuitively what will happen when they press the button. Depends who you expecty to be using the AE one day, if just exchange guess - leave it as it was. If you want my gf, ma, pa, granpappy etc the little, unobtrusive bubble explains what is going on without a manual or a forum post.

On the megathread: people wanted to stay here for the 'pub' bit but, a few short weeks ago, a big reason was CfB was here and liked it here. If anyone had a technical question it would be CfB who would give the answer. Now, we have 5-6 people who seem to have a good handle on how things work and can answer each others questions and are learning from each other every day (it is great to see btw) and soon CfB will be leaving us. I wanted to keep this thread but now I am more ready to move.

The devs could then be persuaded to switch to a clearer system (they would get more help if others/newcomers could clearly see what was being developed and see where they could input). We will still/always have a 'pub' thread but I predict it would be less popular without CfB and the devs in attendence. The only other problem is people seem to sh*t their pants whenever ther isn't a post from one of the devs every hour! And that's when Emule strikes, spreading his FUD at an apparent moment of weakness...  Shocked

Of course, you are within your rights to disagree Grin

Using Wesleyh's client on Firefox private window, Asset Exchange is empty. Just says loading and never gets there. Went on Chrome incognito and it works fine.
