Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

achimsmile BUG:
In Dashboard,i can reproduce it on every blue text.
In transactions, too, with the Tx ID column and the account column.
In the asset exchange,if i click on the ID account of any order, buy or sell,i can reproduce it.
In my assets,it works fine.Clicking an asset takes you to its exchange, and clicking transfer doesnt freeze. This works as it should.
In contacts, after adding someone,i could reproduce it on the account id.
Open orders works fine too for me.
In polls, icould reproduce it clicking on any sender ID, and couldnt clicling on Vote.

I tried adding 13540961408581701899 as a contact , with the name 4879225603217396121.
Now i will send a message to 4879225603217396121 with a link to this post.I hope they read it and can post if they both get it,or who of them does.
I also tried sending 100 testnxt to 4879225603217396121.
Edit: On both cases only the account got it. So wont there be a feature, where in the recipient, when sending messages or Nxt,we can put only how we saved the contact,or the alias?

Bug report @ wesleyh
When trying to send NXT, but entering a wrong password, the error message "Not enough funds" is shown.
Should be something like "Wrong secret phrase".

Bug report @ wesleyh
Idk if this one is just too dumb, but it could result in NXT being sent from a wrong account:
If two accounts A and B are open in the same browser (chrome) at the same time, I'm able to send NXT from account B, while I'm in account A's browser window.
This is a bit tricky. I'm in account A and have 900NXT, account B has 7'000NXT, both are logged in. I go into the window of account A and send some NXT from there, BUT i enter the password of account B.
Result: B sends the NXT without me noticing, because I am in window A.
How to reproduce:
1. Log in to two account at the same time. Buth accounts should be funded 2. Send NXT -> Enter an amount and recipient -> enter SECRET PHRASE of "the ohter opened" account -> Send NXT 3. "NXT has been sent", but you don't see any new transactions 4. Switch browser window and find the transaction.

Thanks, that's actually the same "bug" (I don't really classify this as a bug) as the "wrong secret phrase" thing you reported. It will automatically be fixed when that is fixed. Password will be checked if it maps to currently logged in account id.

Feature request @ wesleyh
Could you implement a warning for the following case, maybe similar to the "Your secret phrase is less than 35 characters long." warning?
I am a new user, open an account, buy some NXT at an exchange and transfer it to my account for cold storage. My account is now only secured with 64bits (my visible-ID), because I don't know about public keys.
So if your own account doesn't have a public ID, something like this is displayed upon each login: "Your has never had an outgoing transaction. This impacts security. To secure your account, please initiate at least 1 outgoing transaction."
What do you think?

Awesome! Yes maybe it can be classified as just being an idiot but good that we prepare even for that!

I already have something like this, it's shown when you click on account balance > more info. Perhaps I'll just place it on the dashboard page in a box instead.

Hi wesleyh, Is it possible to unregister or Transfer Aliases from inside the AE? I registered an Alias in one AE account and want to transfer to another account. This client is so slick wesleyh Hi Ellie on AE; I added you as a contact and your alias shows up right on the screen below Ellie as: The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust which upon searching google, found your site https://www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/That is awesome! Hello! Thank you Ellie for helping test Nxt AE and helping illustrate a feature that demonstrates how incredible this platform is. We can identify ourselves and our businesses from within the Asset Exchange System. Sincerely, Brian Snyder
