If not now, at the latest when the dev committee is active, developers should join wesleyh's development on the front end of our NRS. With JL (and others?) at the nxt core and guys like wesleyh on the front end, we can have a truly remarkable client.

Rollover animation? It's a simple color change. What are you talking about? Yes, that button will show contacts, perhaps recent users also, thanks for the suggestion. I haven't yet optimized for mobile, that will be done later. Priority is desktop at the moment. @Wesleyh 1. GUI-thing: Nothing to solve for version 1.0, but the Roll-over-Animation of the buttons isn't very smooth 2. Wouldn't it be nice if we could access a list of recent users we were in contact after clicking at the scheme of a man's head near the "recipient account" field at "Send NXT" and "Send Message"? 3. On my mobile device (Nexus 4, Chrome) the menu buttons "Send NXT", "Send Message", etc. from the above menu are shown like a layer upon the dashboard. I can't read the text, there is no coloured background. There is also no way to start forging because the other menu-bottons are above the side-menu, I'll ever missclick.

I'll look at this, lol at all the edits, great stuff Searching messages may not be possible, I need an API for that. Also, transactions can already be filtered somewhat, see the button in the header on the right of the page. Thanks! smileys in messages? edit: send message to multiple people in one go? edit: in messages > right click sender address > instead of add contact... have actions.. == add contact/send nxt ect.. like the box Account 4879225603217396121 Info This account has a balance of 20'084.4 NXT. Transactions Assets Aliases Actionsedit: on the left .. dashboard transactions asset exchange ect... in particular messages.. if you have received a message, have messages (no. of new/unread messages)? edit: also for news.. if any new news has been posted > news (1) edit: in transactions... if type = Arbitrary message... make Arbitrary message clickable to go to the message (ether pop up of that particular message or to the main msg page to see all messages from that acc?) sorry you got that one when you click the tx id... clicking the "Arbitrary message" i think could be more intuitive.. edit: make transactions sort-able by the headers transaction id, date ect? edit: in "send nxt" pop up.. have a date-time check box so that you can set a tx to go through a particular time! so the client doesnt actually send any tx until that time... also could you cancel these tx's seeing as its not actually been sent until the date-time has been reached? edit: sorry im on fire here.. lol in transactions have a filter.. so you can filter to only show messages, messages from a particular sender/receiver, between/exact dates, tx's from particular sender/receiver, in-coming/out-going? edit: a block feature.. so you can block/hide tx's from a particular sender.. this could help with spam(if there is any). "check box" somewhere to only show tx's from contacts/non-contacts? non-contacts if you have a bomb of transactions but you need to find one from last year that wasnt saved.. like finding a message in your fone from a number you didnt save... pain in the ass having to go through all your messages right? edit: search function for messages so you can search all your messages for a particular word/string of words. ever have 100 messages on your fone and need to find that one that has something in it you need, number? link? ect? pain in the ass... sorry if im dishin these out too fast lol

Hey guys, I have something like 450.000 NXT split in about 10 accounts. I started constant forging in january, but back then my success was really low. I am still not sure if it is pure luck that i was going for days without blocks. But then at the end of February, my luck went on a sick heater. I was forging multiple blocks PER day. Right now i am forging 4-5 blocks per day! Sicko That includes most of my accounts:

100,000 nodecoins mined yesterday! Get your share, dont let a few people stockpile them.
I will be offline for a while. Maybe somebody will figure out how to get all the nodecoins?
There is a big upcoming project that requires a coin based on AE, so testing nodecoin is more than just for nodecoin

DOGE and milliDOGE are already working with the gateway, arent they?
Could some info be added to the gateways/asset,like when was it created, what account did it,and how many transfers has that gateway done??
As these gateways require trust, you could weight if you want to trust that gateway by seeing how much it has been used.Or if you trust the creator,if it is still a new one.Reputation/rating would be nice, but i guess people could troll it to fuck NXT,so better only with objective information. When it was created and transactions done wouldnt be manipulable.

the plan has been to update every block the current inventory status of all coins based on AE, this will be displayed in the nodeminer, so all participating nodes will be doing the peer review of proper coin asset usage

Hi guys, This is Nodecoin, that James has developed. We need to test it, but I have no idea how I should make it work on Windows: It is for testnet the following is how to get it compiled and running from command line git clone https://github.com/jl777/multigatewaycd multigateway chmod +x run.sh ./run.sh ./nodeminer <NXTacct> <passphrase> I cloned it to my drive, but what now? Any suggestions?

Question: Someone was selling 100 XCP for a price of 1 Nxt. I wanted to see what happens if I put in a buy order for 100 XCP but at a price of 2 Nxt. Later I see that I indeed have 100 more XCP but at what price? I guess my question is if I put a higher price than the seller asks then the seller gets more than he asked?
Plus to me there is no easy way to account for my balance. I wanted to verify what price I paid and how many nxt I spent on that order. There is no intuitive if any way for me to find that out like at an exchange where you can see your order history details. How many at what price and what time. I'm average joe schmo.
grandpa_seth, I was the issuer of XCP, and your issue confounds me as well... I don't see an immediate way of grokking 'yes, you sold 100 XCP for 100 NXT @ x:xx GMT.' If memory serves, my account balance was 3955, and now it's 4055, so I think I only received 100 testNXT for the sale. Due to it being a beta, I'm still interested to see if you paid 100 or 200; more idiot-proof message handling might be in order. edit: ok, I'm dumb and lazy. Or the layout could be rearranged a little. Click on an asset, and it takes you to a screen that shows a buy asset with nxt area and sell asset for nxt area. Under the sell asset for nxt is a buy order box (right hand side). If you scroll down, below that buy order area is an asset transaction history: 11/03/2014 18:25:35 100 1 100 4215517396252390959 12418775621331924550If you go to transactions and change the drop down menu to bid order history, you should see your txid of 12418775621331924550 for the 100 XCP. Thanks, I did miss that as well. But still it feels like there is something missing. Take the transactions list on the dashboard. Does anybody think that there should be another column other than the id for each transaction? I was sent nodecoins in various amounts over a hundred times. So my transactions list is a long list of transaction id's that just says asset transfer. If I want details I have to click each one. That is very inconvenient. People want to go to their dashboard and take a quick accounting and make sure there are no unfamiliar transactions. There should be another column with the name of asset and amount bought or sold instead of having to click each one to get that info.
