Question: Someone was selling 100 XCP for a price of 1 Nxt. I wanted to see what happens if I put in a buy order for 100 XCP but at a price of 2 Nxt. Later I see that I indeed have 100 more XCP but at what price? I guess my question is if I put a higher price than the seller asks then the seller gets more than he asked?
Plus to me there is no easy way to account for my balance. I wanted to verify what price I paid and how many nxt I spent on that order. There is no intuitive if any way for me to find that out like at an exchange where you can see your order history details. How many at what price and what time. I'm average joe schmo.
grandpa_seth, I was the issuer of XCP, and your issue confounds me as well... I don't see an immediate way of grokking 'yes, you sold 100 XCP for 100 NXT @ x:xx GMT.' If memory serves, my account balance was 3955, and now it's 4055, so I think I only received 100 testNXT for the sale. Due to it being a beta, I'm still interested to see if you paid 100 or 200; more idiot-proof message handling might be in order. edit: ok, I'm dumb and lazy. Or the layout could be rearranged a little. Click on an asset, and it takes you to a screen that shows a buy asset with nxt area and sell asset for nxt area. Under the sell asset for nxt is a buy order box (right hand side). If you scroll down, below that buy order area is an asset transaction history: 11/03/2014 18:25:35 100 1 100 4215517396252390959 12418775621331924550If you go to transactions and change the drop down menu to bid order history, you should see your txid of 12418775621331924550 for the 100 XCP. Thanks, I did miss that as well. But still it feels like there is something missing. Take the transactions list on the dashboard. Does anybody think that there should be another column other than the id for each transaction? I was sent nodecoins in various amounts over a hundred times. So my transactions list is a long list of transaction id's that just says asset transfer. If I want details I have to click each one. That is very inconvenient. People want to go to their dashboard and take a quick accounting and make sure there are no unfamiliar transactions. There should be another column with the name of asset and amount bought or sold instead of having to click each one to get that info.

Is it still actual testing of your standalone NxtWallet for Windows, or we should test your online nxt-client?
If it is still actual, I noticed one strange behavior in standalone client:
NxtWallet is started and running, and after about 2-3 hours of not using it, it "hibernates". It seems working, but then I check "My Assets" or "Open orders" it shows nothing, while I have my assets and open orders. Also when I'm writing this, recent block and recent transaction seems stopped 3 hour ago. To get working I need to close and restart NxtWallet client.

Online wallet is the most recent with most recent javascript. I have not had your issue, weird! I will make a new build later on, but focus on developing the online wallet first. wesley Wesleyh

Refreshing the browser is the same as logging out, I guess I could add a session storage thingie so that it auto-logs in again? It would just be your account ID and auto-log in again on refresh. (And also if you open a new tab and go to the site). When you close the browser completely and re-open you would have to log in again. People, you want this feature? Why does Wesley's client log you out when you refresh the browser?

Perhaps make it an option in settings, I for one would not want it for security reasons.

An option would be good...it just sucks having to input the passphase over and over again....refreshing the browser is an ingrained habit for many people. 2nd Point....Is it for security reason why we have to input our passphase every time we BUY & SELL an assets?

@CFB, are you currently developing Parallel Blockchain? If not, want to find someone to head up project.
Currently I'm working on Digital Goods Store. Thanks, do you plan on developing PB before your departure? I know you offered assistance for those willing to head up the project in the past. Depends on if AT does require PB. If not, then I'll implement only AT. This doesn't sound like a sure thing as many people are assuming here. I believe CFB is looking for a technical member of the community to step up and implement Parallel Blockchains. Perhaps this should be the first task for Tech committee, w/ reward bounty.

OK i will make it an option. 2nd point: Yes, but I will add a checkbox in some later version on the login page asking you if you want your password remembered yes or no. Then you will not have to fill it in every time. Just make sure you CLOSE the browser completely if you leave.

On the dashboard...can't we have the choice of recent trades instead of recent transactions/recent blocks?
Or am I not aware of this option.

there is no api available to get trade history of a USER, only for specific assets. I asked CFB to add this though, he may have forgotten.

at least we can copy asset ideas: Businesses using user-created tokens:
1) Airlines - transferable flyer miles create a more dynamic and fluid market for airline tickets, hard nut to crack but an obvious one, supply is created by the airline's economists/consultants and destroyed when redeemed for tickets. You just need to convince one airline.
2) Game companies - most game companies that rely on microtransactions go through the Google or Apple payment gateway and lose 30% of their revenue, but those companies can't regulate how they change their own game data-base when a blockchain transaction is recognized. I can email several people I know in both the indie and social game sectors to see how interested they would be in trying a transferrable, higher margin currency for their premium game content.
3) NGO's could use these coins to try and kickstart economic activity in regions where they are operating, Auroracoin style, a bit of a long-shot but the PR and actual economic upsides are huge. I don't have such a large contact list in this segment but it's worth going through a DB of NGOs doing development work in underbanked regions and cold-emailing them.

This would allow you to quickly see market activity.....very helpful for those day trading. EDIT: I think recent trades of all users is necessary....information of recent blocks is useless info for those trading inside AE client. Most recent trades is a must.
