I'm not sure why people are getting stuck at 50623, my chain's currently at 242690 and reports that there are currently 243036 blocks in the chain.
I will look into this further.
Because you jacked this coin up to hell and back, that's why. If the you're on a different chain than the MAIN FUCKING EXCHANGE (Cryptsy) then the coin is and will continue to be worthless. Good thing a fucking amateur took over the coin...

Looks like Cryptsy is currently totalling your CENT balance as if it was a BTC/CENT pair not XPM/CENT pair. Nearly fell off my chair when my balance page said I had 10.5 BTC

Alright, from what i'm seeing there's one of 3 problems going on at the moment. 1. Cryptsy is outdated and everyone who is reporting successful transactions is too. 2. There's a fork. 3. Uhhh, I forgot what this one was. However, while i was writing this i tried connecting to the cryptsy node with no success, leading me to believe that it's problem #1. Make sure your wallet is updated and try connecting to these nodes: addnode=75.119.241.185 addnode=188.222.120.163 addnode=2.216.38.147 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=183.153.13.11 addnode=42.96.201.118 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=72.174.219.9 addnode=113.206.141.230 addnode=199.231.247.24 addnode=92.52.52.124 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=109.78.208.109 addnode=82.34.194.168 addnode=145.255.23.57 addnode=115.28.15.70 addnode=5.248.230.129 addnode=178.166.1.103 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=174.65.11.157 addnode=178.74.103.10 addnode=83.157.206.130 addnode=64.110.233.157 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=42.96.193.193 addnode=183.37.245.53 addnode=142.129.4.173 addnode=178.93.49.228 addnode=2.222.111.126 addnode=203.79.110.171 addnode=72.225.203.147 addnode=116.7.245.26 addnode=85.26.233.168 addnode=2.216.240.90 addnode=24.13.167.104 addnode=211.142.130.19
I'll be pushing out a checkpoint update that should address any forking issues should there be any in the near future (as well as max_tx). I have latest version of the wallet, and have for weeks. If Cryptsy are receiving my transactions ok (confirmed, not just pending) then wouldn't it mean they are using the latest wallet? I don't know, I'll just wait for the update. Thanks

Why are people having issues? I'm doing fine, people need to calm down.
Why? Because the dev doesn't know how to properly update and release a coin. Just because you're doing fine doesn't mean others are and anyone who has missing coin has a right to be upset.

No, that's always been the case as far as I know. It just doesn't know which market to use to calculate the estimated balance so it's calculating off the cent/ltc market rather than the cent/xpm market. They just need to shut the LTC market down already....maybe it's time for a CENT/DOGE market.

Why are people having issues? Did they forget to update the client?
I'm doing fine, and so are many others. People need to calm down and stop acting like their heads are cut off.
Nothing to do with updating the client. Redownload the block chain with your "working client" and see how far you get Just a guess but it seems that the client is rejecting all POS blocks prior to Jan 8th (Which I am guessing start around block 50623 and end somewhere in the 230k area) and created a fork there. Same later on. If you were in sync as of Jan 8th you are likely fine. Sending from one of my active wallets to Cryptsy is just fine. I would like to be wrong of course.

My CENTS client works fine too. I got a couple of huge stakes then I am getting like 30 million coins on the 8th. I am not sure how POS is supposed to work but it has been interesting.

I've already said I'm looking into it, calm the fuck down. Proof of Stake was a half-assed hack job and it wasn't designed to be changed in the middle of the blockchain. Complications were expected and they will be dealt with accordingly.
Throwing around insults isn't going to help anything.
