we are not any more listed on bittrex :/
There was no volume too... as long as it stay listed on cryptsy we are good, in fact i would like to see it listed on mintpal, as cryptsy is start looking like a dead exchange. They are running behind, they are too slow in adding coins. We need to make a serious push to get on mint, I vote daily but we got a ways to go. Is there a chance cryptsy can bump us to an LTC market?

There is no way you can achieve that without spending an insane amount of btc for nothing

Summercoin was dead, they change it to Summer2 and there is again some activity, we are so running behind, either EAC need to come with something that will really become a hype or we will hit 1 sat soon, pretty sad story for one of the biggest coins in the beginning of the year. Pretty sad.

The main Earthcoin community and activity are at earthcointalk (ECT), which has several EAC projects that are not discussed on bitcointalk. All EAC supporters from BCT, please check out the coin's projects at: https://earthcointalk.org/The ECT forum is also a faucet, and you get EAC for every comment you make. There is a lot going on there in the private forums. We welcome you.

I just listed the most expensive item ever priced in Earthcoin for sale on Earthazaar. I am giving a 'Whale' an opportunity to get out of their Earthcoin holdings for an item that is a very good bargain at current EAC prices. This item retails for $2,999 in ANY jewelry store you would visit. You can buy it today for only 50,000,000 Earthcoins, or a measly $600 at current rates. You may not ever get a better chance to cash out, before we are looking at 1 satoshi without any hope in the horizon, so I would recommend buying this now before your Earthcoins become worthless and you are just another bagholder. ;-) https://earthazaar.com/product/3-carat-natural-diamonds-vs-1vs-2-natural-ruby-earrings-in-solid-18k-white-gold/

You really want to support this coin like crazy, and i believe when DEV would take the necessary action that we will be trading 10 times higher, but it seems that they are unable to do this, or just refuse to do it. Look at Summercoin for example, changing the coin, make it more attractive for miners, as nobody want to mine scrypt coins anymore because it is too expensive. So why are you doing this? How much coins do you have? Are you not interested in taking a bigger step and make this coin worth looking at for other people.

This. Change to X11 or something. Not only is it more earth friendly, using less power, but it's an algo people like at the moment. Sort it out guys.

Who are the "guys" at the moment, haven't seen biomech anymore also no posts from the earthcoin account. But I think Wes is still very busy talking technical stuff over skype with all the developers hehe Jo wes are you still alive?? Biomech you've got the family stuff worked out already? And this vague linki person he build the last eac wallet, I think he never even posted one message here, why not... weird isn't it? And mister Norb last heard from him during the famous chat session. Come on "guys" be active do something or be honest that the current team isn't capable to bring this coin forward. Time to put all the cards on the table, transparency is needed now! And indeed I also think it would be better to change to x11.

Come on "guys" be active do something or be honest that the current team isn't capable to bring this coin forward. Time to put all the cards on the table, transparency is needed now! And indeed I also think it would be better to change to x11. Not all of us are "guys" you know. I'm the publicity officer for the coin, work on long term projects rather than daily communications. As you know, cryptos combine 5 technologies - peer-to-peer network, algorithm, blockchain, cryptography and keys. People come to cryptos looking at one part, say the algorithm, and expecting a change in the algorithm will change everything. (That said, others on the team can speak to your X11 question.) Every month there is a new quick fix. Or people come to cryptos as investors, assume the crypto should behave exactly like wall street fiat. The truth is no one knows how cryptos behave synergistically, where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Cryptos are deflationary - not inflationary - currencies and we don't know what the rules of deflationary currencies are, particularly when combined with elements like social networks. I agree that the coin needs support now, but also - expectations should match the fact that we are all treading on brand new ground. There are people on the team who are dealing with EAC's big, long-term picture. If you want to join that effort, I encourage you to go to earthcointalk and join working groups in our private forums.

Sorry I haven't replied here in quite a while. Life got interesting. Both good and bad, won't go into it in any detail except to say that some great opportunities came my way, along with some serious trials, and in dealing with them, I found I didn't have time to do the job I was supposed to do with Earthcoin. So, while I'm still in on the team as an observer and occasional loudmouth, I've stepped down as communications dude. TamB found someone, I'll let her do the announcing, who will take my place. Also, because I fumbled the ball, I have passed on the bounty I was paid to those who were trying to pick up the slack. Behind the scenes, from what I've seen in my limited time, the dev team is a bunch of busy beavers. Particularly Linki, TamB, and Cryptozark. They are doing something every damn day. Linki doesn't post very much, he just hammers out code like a mad scientist The various suggestions/supplications/demands that get posted here and on earthcointalk actually get a lot of discussion. I don't know where it will go, but I can assure you that the team is not gone, nor sitting idly by. I'll drop in from time to time, I'm not gone either. But real life has become quite an adventure for me, and that has changed my priorities.

Ok great to see there still is a team, but it would be better if it was/is more visible. I suggest to post once a week a brief summary on the progress suggestments news etc etc, always at the same day same time. Even when there's no real news let the people know whats going on behind the scenes, it will create trust. It will trigger more dicussions here on this forum instead of eartcointalk where it's not visible enough to the big public, earthcointalk came to early IMO we are not bitcoin or litecoin yet. I think it's damn shame that a coin with so much progress (great name, beautifull site, transaction messages, once a big community, earthazaar etc etc) dropped down to 208 on coinmarketcap. A good and visible dev team will regain trust and will attrack investors.

Ask and ye shall receive, Gentlemen (and Ladies)! We understand that you need regular, weekly updates and we will provide them. We have several projects on the go, and will be rolling them out in the coming weeks. Biomech valiantly stood as our Communications Officer, but the real world makes big demands on even the best of us; he has stepped down. Update: We had announced Heidi Hecht as new Communications Officer. After a week, she had to step down for private reasons. Cryptozark and I will fill Biomech's position doing comms until we find a replacement for Biomech.

FYI, we have a winner in the name Earthcoin's smallest denomination contest - he's been contacted to receive his EAC 700K.
The satoshi equivalent for EAC will be 'grain.' So 0.00000001 EAC = 1 Grain.
As you may know, a 'grain' was an ancient measurement, based on a grain of wheat, for denoting the smallest part of a troy ounce of gold and other systems for weighing gold.
