CharityMiningPools - Donate to Charity while you Mine!

eac.charityminingpools.com

Be a pioneer and help us get started, come mine while making a difference.

Mandatory 0.5% donation fee goes to the BitGive Foundation this month.  We welcome and encourage you to donate more to a good cause.

STRATUM, VARDIFF, Datacenter Redundant Server Farm, Load Balanced Servers, Frequent Backups
0.5% Mandatory Donation fee to a Good Cause, 0.5% Pool Fees, 0% AP TX Fees

Who Are We?
CharityMiningPools was created to allow miners the ability to mine coins while still knowing that their hashing power is going towards something good.  Our goal is to provide a positive and reliable service while delivering a small portion of the proceeds to a deserving recipient.  Plans are in the works to allow individual miners to choose where they would like to donate to based on a pool of available recipients.

How Does This Work?
All coins minded at CharityMiningPools will require a mandatory 0.5% Donation fee.  This donation fee will be collected and donated to the designated charitable recipient for that given month.  Though we only require a minimum 0.5% Donation fee, we welcome and encourage our miners to raise the stakes and donate more to a good cause.

Cheers!

@centurion

Is it possible to filter the items that are out of stock on earthazaar? After clicking 30+ items of silver coins only to find out all are out of stock it came to me aht this would be a usefull addition  Cheesy maybe it's already there and i'm only blind tho!

@mrchisolm,

Sellers can change product visibility for out of stock items. This is in the 'Publish' field in their product editor. I was going to try to leave this up to the store owners as they may restock items on a regular basis, but I definitely see your point.

I will write a filter to help make things easier for shoppers. Thanks for the input!

Hey what do you think about this?

https://altoutlet.com/eac

Anyway I am sad to see that John has left us officially.  I personally do not believe he has dumped his coins, he has always done what he said he would do and I have no reason not to believe him.  Him and Norb did have a big disagreement that could not be resolved and that is about the end of it.  There is no doubt he left us a great coin.  Its' future is not yet written by a long shot.

No one likes it when this happens but I must admit this is the most poetic comment I've heard!  Smiley

I've tried to buy back in as its dropped.  I started with most my coins at 250 sats+  Now I likely have my whole pot sitting at a average of 41-45 sats.   I could buy in to drop this more but I have a lot of EAC Smiley

I've been thinking about starting something called "Explore the Earth" to promote EAC. The idea would be simple, copied from various games in the internet: I would explore places in google street view and take a screenshot, then ask people to track/guess where I am. If a person guessed/ found the place (lets say by 100 miles or so), he/she would win that week. The prize would be EAC of course, the amount would depend how much the devs are willing to hand out weekly/how much we can gather for this. At the end of the round, a short description of the place, people and interesting history would be posted. This would encourage people to explore the earth and our environment, hopefully binding people together (and promote EAC too).

I would love to see the prize money coming from the premine of course, since this is promotion. However I'm ready to hand out some of my own EAC for this if the devs are not up for it. Would be better if they'd participate in setting this game up though, as I'm not sure if it would be allowed here on bitcointalk - Do you think it would be considered a giveaway? What section would be appropriate for it? I'd like to see it on its own thread.

Also, we could draw a map of a) the places we've "visited" and b) the countries the winners came from. I think this would be pretty cool looking after bunch of rounds!
I'd like some help in this. I'd like to see someone more fluent in english than me to write the description articles - I can communicate in english, but I'd really like to see a professional, 100% correct grammar... A journalist touch, you know?

E. Lets try this out.... Where are we this week? No prize this week, just enjoy the view and the hunt for where we are.... Link it on google maps or just say the country and city/town Smiley Hint: A famous historical battle was fought near this place almost 1000 years ago.

I think this is a fantastic idea - you should propose it at the earthcoin site's forum.

He did and we have spoke.  But an idea is an idea.  I asked him for some structure.  Who uploads the images, and sources them?  How is it administered such that he/she is not telling their friends what the answer is?  who doles out the prize each week, how much is the prize.  How is it determined?  Time and date stamped?

An idea is great.  It requires administration and execution now.  If you can put that together we of course would implement it.  It is a great idea to expand the brand and include new people.  Any idea like this is great.

It took a little time searching Wikipieda and Google Maps, but I'll say Hastings... Grin That was kind of Cool, and a little History lesson to boot.
