Deepbit down again both the miner and website.

This is getting ridiculous, we pay the 3% because of ease to use and stability. Running home every day to restart miner is not it.

Fix it.

Don't be dumb

Just write your script to handle this things or use some of the tools already available.

For example: https://github.com/cdhowie/Bitcoin-mining-proxy

And leave an ssh/vnc server running so you can connect remotely

The pie chart is wrong  because the total pool speed is calculated from the last x hours, and deepbit was online at that time.

OTOH, the pool speeds are real-time. Since deepbit is missing, the script thinks that lots of hashing power comes from "other" pools. Wait for deepbit to go back online, or wait x hours for the total network speed to adjust with deepbit being offline.

So is the current hash rate still at 11.2 THhs/s? or not?
Thanks for a partial explanation.

Is there a way to have a pool server where we can have by default all access denied except for registered users, where we ask our workers IP address to be whitelisted? Users without a credible past or violators could be banned
for an arbitrary time.

Should be not too difficult to add to the webform (register a new worker, add IP address) but of course if the admin site is beeing DDOSsd as well, that does not help ;-)

That would make it incredible annoying for Any new members, So annoying that they'd go "fuck it im not gonna use this pool"

And this still wouldnt stop any DDoSes you dont need form of Login to the site to DDoS it, You just need tobeable to see the site/service
