I just deposited the other day and I was surprised to see the 2 confirmations thing. I think it's pretty difficult to overturn 1 confirmation, I wonder what the motivation is.
It's an ST6-instituted security feature. They say 2 confs, we wait 2 confs and for 3+ years the coins have stayed safe. No need for ST6 to prove their work at this stage. programming note: Every day of "Decked Out December" features a 1 chip satty to the BIG BTC, with 1 seat guaranteed every single day. Ever wanted to fire the BIG BTC but didn't have the bankroll? It's been 2 for several months. If you go back in this thread a few screens, the announcement is back there somewhere. I agree with 2. A slight inconvenience is better than even a small risk of SwC losing lots of coin. |

When do the satellites open for the free rolls to the Big BTC? When I try to register it asks me for a password and nobody else is registered.

There aren't freerolls to the Big BTC. There are 1 and 10 chip satellites. The tournaments with passwords become password-free a couple hours before they happen. The passworded freerolls you get enrolled to automatically when you meet the criteria. |

as far as 2 confs, I don't really mind, i agree that you guys have a great security record. do whatever you feel best.
still, from my understanding of the satoshi whitepaper, you'd need a lot of hashing power to overturn 1 conf on today's network.

Did today's (12/15) DoD freeroll go off at a different time? I dont see it in the lobby? I am trying to get back into playing poker, which I assume this promotions intent, and registering for the free rolls is confusing and inconsistent.  EDIT: Its there now... poof |

Yes they do. Just email the support about it. I m curious, what do they do about players, if a tournament is running and servr dies. Do thy refund players who busted? or do they split their buy ins to other players? |
