280x: gpu 1070 gpu-memclock 1500 intensity 11 thread-concurrency 8192 ~70 kh/s, no HW
I have only 3Gb RAM onboard. If TC> 16000 cgminer crushes
What you can advice?
--thread-concurrency 16384 -g 2 -I 12 --lookup-gap 3 This should give you 110. To get 130(I think) you need 8gb RAM and change --lookup-gap 2. 1 of 2 cards 280x doesnt work: cgminer version 3.7.2 - Started: [2014-02-28 23:19:19] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (5s):119.5K (avg):116.8Kh/s | A:192 R:0 HW:0 WU:107.7/m ST: 2 SS: 0 NB: 4 LW: 30 GF: 0 RF: 0 Connected to ultra.nitro.org diff 64 with stratum as user ****.* Block: 83772d1c... I'm sure most everyone knows this, but for those not able to set high TC (from low ram) or those who need PC useable while mining; you'll probably want to stay with -G 2
A TC - 16,384 @ -G 2 is Equal to A TC - 32768 @ -G 1
Certain cards do better with -G2 vs -G1 and you can play with the 2 variations to see what yours prefer. If you have low ram or need PC try to stay with -G 2 settings.
If Someone posts a super high TC with -G 1 flag, just divide by 2 and try that TC with -G 2.
Best settings will come from a bit of time.
Note: If running -G 1 Typically -I 18 If running -G 2 Typically -I 12-13
Intensity must be lower for -G 2

The best I've been able to do on a 4x 290/290x rig is to have low HW errors. I can't get rid of them completely unless I want to hash at 75 Kh/s.
I have an 8 Gb rig and and can keep the cards running at around 165 KH/s each by upping the TC to 32768, I 17, and Worksize = 512.
This isn't much use to anyone else I'm afraid as the 4x rig is suffering from it's own specific RAM problems. It's worth a try on a single system as well I suppose though. I still get HW errors, but my WU is much higher than any other way right now. I'll see if Ican add some ram this weekend and see what happens to the HW issue.

Help! I'm usually good at finding my settings, but now I'm stuck.
I have 2 270x and 1 290. All xfx double dissapation, non-reference. I can't get higher than 40kh/s per card, and no they aren't crashed driver symptoms. Anything over 11 intensity i get HW errors out the ass. setting gpu-thread to 2 kills hashrate even more when TC set down to 8192. When cards crash, i restart rig. -w setting doesn't change hashrate for 64 128 256 512 or even if -w is deleted. old .bins deleted.
270x stats: core can increase to 1200 from 1150, no major difference. underclocking causes crash mem clock i can bring to 1600 from 1495, again no major difference. TC 12992, no difference from 8192-12992, crashes at 13992 or higher lookup gap 0 or 2 same results, 1 needs higher tc, 3 gets 10% less hasrate was at 189kh/s before today's n-factor, 330kh before that. 491kh in scrypt.
290 stats: core can increase to 1100 from 1056, no major difference, underclocking cause crash memclock can increase to 1575 from 1476, you guessed it, no major difference TC 30992, no difference from 8192-30992, crashes any higher. lookup gap 0 or 2 same results, 1 needs higher tc, 3 gets 10% less hashrate was at 330kh/s before todays n-factor, 610kh/s before that. 883kh/s in scrypt.
rig has 12gb system ram.
Thanks!

On the pools site you will less or more and sometimes correct hash dont worry just go with it hash on miner reason is different is because the hash on site is from submitted shares received in a time period

Funny but the best settings for hd7950 (1044/1500Mhz) on my rigs is the same like on 280x -w 256 -g 2 -I 12 --thread-concurrency 16384 --no-submit-stale --expiry 10 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 Hd 7950 works ~100khs without HW errors is good for me. Someone maybe have better results on hd7950?

Since your playing, if you like to try...... Maybe first try some TC's @ 33,792 and 36,608 and 39,424 (or 16,896 and 18,304 and 19,712 for -G2) <<Edit: G2 This is 12,13 and 14 times shaders. Your setting now is an odd multiple and may be still causing the few HW's IF that didn't work and it was me; I would try 64 and 128 workspace

Your setting now is an odd multiple and may be still causing the few HW's IF that didn't work and it was me; I would try 64 and 128 workspace I've tried exact multipliers, at least on scrypt, and they never hashed as well as TC's close to them in intervals of about 60 TC. And I can't go above 33,000 wihtout one card getting the error 4 - blah blah blah something about enqueing a kernel. Basically I don't have enough RAM to run 4 cards at a TC higher than 32xxxx. I actually tried 33,792 (approx) and it works okay... except 1 card doesn't load. I actually raised the "-w" because I was having card failures at lower numbers. I typically have never moved it from 256 and thought a lower number would work but it failed worse. Much like when I had 8xxx as the TC, I got nothing but HW for some reason. This N is messing with my cards pretty badly.
