Transaktions with darksend enabled don't work for me. Everytime the darksend status idle after some time (never goes after 1/3), and no transaktion happen. I have RC 1, "addnode=23.23.186.131" is in darkcoin.conf. Also I've made a clean start with the romaing folder removed. Any ideas?
Darksend requires 3 transactions to complete (it won't be an issue when we have more people using it), try sending 3 times with darksend. You'll see 1/3, then 2/3 then signing and complete. Ok that worked. But now there is another problem. I've sent 3x 9 DRK to mintpal but only 9 DRK arrived. 27.003 DRK where deducted from my wallet. thats the id from those 3 transactions http://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/tx.dws?d08bcb05760f7291e641b79e6ff9e4986b7c22ecc8ac61bae01c68d04df3246d.htmd08bcb0576... 56385 2014-4-23 10:37:38 + 9.0 DRK 18.0 DRK d08bcb0576... 56385 2014-4-23 10:37:38 + 9.0 DRK 27.0 DRK d08bcb0576... 56385 2014-4-23 10:37:38 + 9.0 DRK 36.0 DRK
Seems ok for you now. Yeah, that looks fine.

It just passed Vertcoin. As exciting as these pumps are, I hope panic buying phase gets over to stabilize at these levels for a bit. I think many are finally getting impressed by the community around the coin. Last few pages have been great read with lots of new ideas from new posters.
Still going to say MORE MASTERNODES please. The network should stand out making it impossible to duplicate down the road for any cloners.
Next person to quote petecamey gets on my ignore list and I have never used that before (not even for hyungsukmom, LuvAnonCoin et al)
I'll be glad to set up a masternode. But I need an idiots guide to put it up on an amazon instance or something like that. This one isn't bad: https://darkcointalk.org/threads/how-to-set-up-ec2-t1-micro-ubuntu-for-masternode-part-1-3.240/

I'm a bit confused -- what's being voted on with this mechanism?
It's the code for paying masternodes. It's done in a way that requires network consensus to avoid people just taking the money. Could you go into a bit of detail about this? - Why does the problem exist (i.e. what's the specific attack vector for taking a masternode's earned payment?) - Does the voting have a manual component, or is it fully automated? - Can the voting be gamed? Does it introduce bias? Might I miss out on masternode payments if I for some reason don't get enough votes? Sorry if you've already been over this elsewhere, I might have missed the explanation for this.

Guys, if we want the DRK price to stabilize at higher levels then believers of DRK should not sell around 20 looking to buy again around 15. This "shorting" technique is fine but I think is counterproductive at this point. Lets hold and if you want more DRK just pay the current prices which is a great investment anyway, that way we dont create extra selling pressure. Just my 2 duffs.
I know it's disappointing to see in the short-term, but don't let it get to you. Trading history repeats itself in EXACTLY the same manner and it goes like this: a) traders sell when price approaches previous high, and record their profit. b) price goes down and traders buy in again... feeling very smart and happy. c) price goes up again and traders again sell waiting for the fall. d) price breaks historical high and continues higher as there are no sellers e) sellers rush to buy back in at any price, and thus reinforcing an even sharper rise in price. f) investors [in contrast to traders] sell a load, the coin falls back and traders lick their wounds. At the end of the day, short-term traders loose. The saying goes - traders collect profits their in spoons, and losses in buckets. So sit back and smile.

Not enough people are using darksend on the network to fulfill the requirements. What you can do, if you're just testing, is send 3 transactions out to fill it yourself. Since transactions are limited to 10 coins or less, it's not terribly practical at the moment. When DarkSend is the standard, and all amounts can be used, it will be constantly used because every transaction will basically be using it I think the next version will have unlimited amounts or else just a minimum for DarkSend

We need people to sell low, so that we, believers, can buy low. There's many type of investors out there, and all are needed - at the end of the day, it's about offer and demand. And all I know is that demand will outpace offer by a wide margin at some point regarding Darkcoin - do you prefer making 50% in a short period of time or make 1000% within a few months?

No, it's Amir from dark wallet. Would be great fit for Darkcoin though.. Whilst I applaud this, DarkSend obviates the need for such things to some degree by itself. ALL transactions can be private. Until you give someone your shipping address...

No, it's Amir from dark wallet. Would be great fit for Darkcoin though.. The thing is, DarkSend obviates the need for such things to a large degree. ALL transactions can be private. Until you give someone your shipping address... But decentralizing the market prevents abusers or central authorities from being able to shut down the whole market if it were setup in a centralized/client-server configuration.

is the darkcoin wallet going to have an encrypted message service? i think that would be a cool little feature.i herd some finance annalist talking about how he thought bitcoin would really explode, once it was implemented into email services, is there a way darkcoin could have it's own email service(could call it darkmail) that is fully anonymous and also capable of sending Darkcoins, i'm sure there are a lot of people out there who would find that incredibly useful if u get what i'm getting at, would that be difficult? imagine you want to sell something but you don't want anyone to know, not only could you remain anonymous while selling whatever your selling but your transaction is also anonymous and all from the same platform, people would love that shit.

What would be really cool is an email system as well. Facebook, twitter, linkedin, etc...they all used email to grow their user base. They linked to your email account and then got you to send connect messages to your contacts. That's how to create a network effect. Why not send an email saying 'Hi, I just sent you 10 DRK.....[with a footer saying] - If you don't have a wallet to access your money, you can download it from here.....and you will be able to access your eCash immediately'
