Some dunderhead is still p2pool mining into my wallet. Whoever you are, thank you! When it amounts to anything much, I'll donate it to the cause. PS. You need a hardware upgrade... Also, 1st post in this thread needs updating with new logo etc. And the "bounties" links to not very much on p400-something. Throw up an android wallet bounty, there's money in the pot for it? New branding should be sent out to all the exchanges etc. too. Plus the darkcointalk site needs icons updating. Plus the paper.darkcoin.io paper wallet generator. Let's use the new stuff!

I'm asking if my miner's ram ( 2GB ) would slow down the cards not allowing them achieving its max capacity As scrypt mining is dead as you have said i'm considering Vertcoin or Darkcoin so I'm asking If you mine with linux/BAMT/PIMP then 2GB RAM will be fine unless you have 290s and want to run insanely high thread counts. But with X11 you don't need huge TC, and you often get better results with much lower intensity, eg. I13 instead of I19. And if you're running 290s you can afford another 2GB RAM stick anyway. Interesting but i'm having troubles to evaluate it from the moment the WU value in sgminer is useless... How could u note that lower I and lower TC give better results in term of WU (not raw HR)? I'm still using I19 and TC 21712 w my 7950s but i'd like to run at best optimal settings...

If you're getting decent HR (1.8 - 1.9Mh for 7950's) with your current settings, nice and stable, no HW errors, then carry on!

Yes, the HR is not bad... 1.75 considering my 7950s r undervolted... i did because of Scrypt... now i can put the volt back but i think anyway the increasement of the HR won't pay the increasement of power consumption... I tried to increase I till to 21... also stable w no HW but i could notice an important HR drop in the pool's dashboard... so I revert back to 19... But sure, without WU, comparing the raw HR with the pool's one is not accurate... Thank u very much!

Lotterymining.com:
Stratum has been turned off, 12 hours left until rest of the pool shuts down...18 days of notice have been given.. 3. april 2014 - goin2mars Amount won 32.19458 DRK - txid: ee1e6705d819a9ac05c498105d129001361b8b4ce24dcf4db9e64f187fcf1dd7 This was the last lottery...
Lotteryminning is closing down the pool - we are getting too small, and people seem to only want to mine at the big pools... The pool will be turned of 22nd of april - Please withdraw your funds.. any funds left on that date will be considered pools property.. and used for happenings at a later date BUT
we will return with something completly different, and its going to be awesome...

The new logo is making it very geeky and immature. I think we're too old for playing transformers. Aren't we ?
I guess this is what Lims called "modern design". You guys are cute. I'd be interested to know more about the creator esp age and background/situation. That guy have evident 3D skills but it looks so very much.. antisocial. Same goes for the majority of bitcointalk registered members. Typical coders and geeky people aren't so famous for their fashion sense and aethetics, nor necessarily communication experts. But this is really getting caricatural !
The identity choice is bad and I'm not hoping for an improvement from now. I hope Darkcoin anonymity feature will be enough to make it rocking on long term. But it's a risky bet.
Not meant to hurt just the sharp truth. As I've been always successful in my own ventures and tired of BS talking, I wish you guys personnal success. If you can work as much as you like to argue and pretend knowing things, I'm sure this will be easy for you.
Just my 2mil.. Good luck.
FWIW the new logo wasn't my first choice (it was chosen by poll), and I would have much preferred a clean, untextured / flat version on the website over the 3d metallic coin. But it's not my decision, so... Also, I think your criticism is fair, but delivered poorly. Just because you have the same opinion about the logo that makes his criticism fair ?

Could anyone ,please help me with my problem , I have a sapphire 280x and tried to mine darkcoin , so this are my settings in the bat file
export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100 export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1 sgminer.exe --kernel darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://drkpool.com:3333 -u xxx -p xxx --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 -I 13 --gpu-powertune -0 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1020
all I get is the response( unable to open darkcoin.cl or kernel/darkcoin.cl for reading, failed to init gpu thread 0, disabling device 0 )
does anyone know what the problem is ?

Make sure you're running sgminer from the directory it compiled into. If you move the binary elsewhere, it won't know where to find those opencl files.
