No surprise there... I expect DASH to get a major pump, must be so tempting for a lot of people now as we have just held where we are for ages now and must be ripe to move up, but they will all want to get out at the top re LTC... I just sit here and wait lol... Can anyone actually confirm that? Anyone speaking chinese? Tungfa?

Well, I don`t think it would be very good for Dash or the whole crypto community if this turns out to be true.

+1 It needs a high liquidity exchange. Thats why all this is going on on the Chinese exchanges + BTCe. It's going to be namecoin. (In fact it's already started: https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/btce/nmcbtc )

Yah, and as usual, nobody knows who we are, LOL. That won't be the fact for long I'm actually relieved that it looks like they're going to leave us alone. I like it that we're a stable coin, and think it will do us in good stead in the long run when it comes to real adoption. We really need to stay out of that BTCe exchange. They seem to be market manipulators, and it would really hurt DASH IMHO if we ended up there. Thank goodness they ask for a huge deposit to be on their exchange. That's a #1 sign that they're a tool, not an honest exchange.

That`s why I`d really like to know if that chinese guy is really talking about DASH in that video. PS: Does anyone know what the chinese name of DASH is?

These pumps just show you that decentralisation and all the high minded nonsense that people go on about with regard to crypto is a joke. It's all about the exchanges and being on a big exchange Adoption may be going in a completely different direction to what everyone thought. It occurs to me that for a monetary medium to achieve a high level of "adoption", it doesn't actually have to get used directly as the day to day medium of exchange for goods. It just has to achieve a high value and where better to do that than large, high liquidity, centralised exchanges. Derivative media which are backed by that monetary value can do the rest. What does gold do ? Sits in vaults doing nothing performing a useful function as a store of value, but it's nowhere to be seen in supermarkets or car dealers.

Are you saying that it's healthier for a coin to be on big exchanges like BTCe? Even if they get manipulated?

You've got to be careful with that word "manipulated". Buying a lot of something and driving the price up is not illegitimate "manipulation". The stuff's there on offer in the order books and if someone comes along and buys it, they've paid the money. You can't really call it "manipulation" and no-one can know what reasons lay behind their trades. This goes on all the time in forex markets, it's just that the liquidity's so huge that the price movements are tiny. The route to a stable store of value therefore isn't through trying to avoiding "manipulators", it's through having your currency traded in high liquidity markets. (Of course, that means the price must go way up first. The higher the value goes, the more stable the asset gets for a given trading volume).

Do you think we should raise the funds to get on BTCe? Is this a worthy goal? I trust your judgement, but be aware, I also forget things very easily, LOL, so If I'm making your repeat yourself, my apologies

So who is this guy and what is Nautiluscoin that it would be considered before 1. making their own currency and 2. using almost any other crypto coin over Nautiluscoin. If this article isn't dubious, I don't know what is! Comments aren't allowed on that page either, LOL.

I have in fact always thought that and don't mind repeating myself at all. That doesn't mean I'm right, it's just what I want to happen. In fact I'd prefer for it to appear on one of the big Chinese exchanges even more than BTCe. It may well be that it gets dumped instead of pumped but I generally think the more proliferation the better. The thing is, the current Dash "holdership" is unlikely to dump it, so I don't see there being a huge supply without a price rise. Litecoin got adopted by Chinese exchanges a year ago and did nothing but loose value since then so it doesn't mean all green lights. It just means the whole world "owns it" instead of a few people on Bitfinex where it's got a tiny trading volume.
