Hello and please don't resent me for this since it is just a question but did anyone here buy in at Dash's previous all time high of around 1400 usd back in 2017?

It's hard to find someone who made his entry on the peak price and still following this thread. Only new investors always chase the rally and buy on the top and than sell it on very first crash because they don't have patience so who are still active they are long term investors.

Well, after you mentioning first Dogecoin, then Ethereum Classic and now Zcash threatening to take-over Dash, i was not all that worried
(you can only cry wolf that many times).

I am just curious what Altcoin you will be mentioning next ?

Eh...in case you hadn't noticed we basically share the bottom of the marketcap barrel with all of the above.

This is due to the fact that the market has revalued our scarcity downwards since we now simply inflate half our supply numerically instead of subjecting it to competitive mining. Not a highly valued practice if you're a mined asset.

An Update to the Voices of Dash Nation Writing Initiative



The reboot of the Dash Nation movement has sure been a busy time! After letting this website go kind of abandoned for a long time (something I'm ashamed to admit), there was a lot to do to modernize it and upgrade the front and back ends to deliver a user experience that's worthy of Dash. Dash is speedy, secure and modern, so we needed a site that could claim the same. I truly hope you like the results of our work.

But what good's a website without content? There are plenty of things to talk about with Dash. Proposals, price action, new features and requests, ideas, regulation, economics, you name it. To that end, we needed to attract some writing talent to the Dash Nation team. In July we posted a request for talent to come and write articles in either English or Spanish, as those are the major Dash-accepting communities at this point. We offered a small stipend of $10 USD for each article written, not really as a direct compensation for the time spent, but rather as a "Thank You" for donating their time and skills to the movement towards financial freedom through Dash.

ANN: Hodler test of nerves in progress. Core support levels getting hammered & subjected to un-announced flash retests across the board. Market checking undercarriage integrity.

This could be extremely bullish if we survive it. Looks to me like a second capitulative retest for bottom confirmation of the bear market. If we snap back up reasonably quickly with a higher low than 0.005312, then it could formally signal that the corner has been turned.

We wait and wonder.

Which suddenly provides Polkadot with a $4,9 Billion marketcap, placing it above Bitcoin Cash.

If BTC can hold $10250 or so then perhaps the bloodbath is over for now... if not round 2 next, and likely as low as $9K

DASH seems to be momentarily forming a bottom at $66ish (last visited early July) and 0.0066 BTC (last visited as far back as January). Nice wicks at the bottom so might have a good rebound from here.

Truth is though, that DASH is like a rag doll in the mouth of the big dog (BTC)... so hopefully BTC's 100 day SMA acts as good support for the next leg up...

Yup, this demonstrates perfectly what I mentioned about a half a month ago... (exchanging 1 old DASH for 100 new DASH... maybe they were listening  ).

DOT just moved the decimal 2 places and just like that the marketcap doubles. Many more people can stomach buying a $6 coin over a $600 coin...
