From his history this guy is clearly an actual bitfinex customer, as opposed to a paid FUDder.
We need to be able to respond to this. Undecided

As a swap provider I will immidiately withdraw all of my funds from bitfinex in case of BFX adding darkcoin to their trading platform for mainly two reasons:

1. possible legal implications already mentioned in this thread.

2. As a swap provider I cannont decide on whom I'm lending funds and what for. While I feel pretty comfortable lending out money for btc trading and grudgingly accept ltc trading I will not lend out money to people trading a 4 months old shady coin which could go down to a cent any second (auroracoin for example which has lost over 99.5 % of it's peak value). As I can not decide to whom my funds go and feel that BFX is already operating on thin ice with its theoretical swap fund insurance I have no other choice than pulling out in case of a darkcoin adding.

This guy is fairly ignorant and nothing can be done about those types.  The legal implications are WAY overblown and nothing about DRK is shady.  The guy is the typical BTC owner that hates all alts (judging by the LTC comment).  I can't imagine the majority thinks like this or finex never would have been considering DRK.

Anyway around it -- getting into a flame war on these forums helps nothing.  If we want to help the coin on the exchange the best way is to try and get Ape to negotiate (I remember him trying with regard to BTC-e).

Everything else aside, he does make a valid point about DRK's volatility -- in the past week we have seen DRK go 100% both ways.

Could you please clarify?

As somebody else said, for the right return there will always be somebody willing to lend.  Plus getting on finex would put more of the daily volume in trader's hands (rather than the whales) which will help volatility.

id rather see more posting from the dev and team about updates and ideas.
all this chatter and "mentioning of other coins" is not what miners/investors are coming here for.
this coin should be trading @ .04 today not .017
can we hear more from dev and team please.
thanks fellas!

We already know what Evan is doing -- fixing the issues we had with the last hard fork.  The more time he is following the thread and posting the slower the progress on the tech side.  Let him work, we always hear something at least on a weekly basis from him anyway (either here or at darkcointalk).

The offensive answer option: Darkcoin has constantly been having more volume than Litecoin. If you make them choose between you two, you have to ask yourself a question, do they hate money? World is changing, adapt or die.

Well lots of vitriol there and also BTC Wall Observer thread. Is that swap provider a major revenue source? Do they have business names in finex (not sure how it works)

Not necessarily directed at you, but when LTC was added was there a similar amount of resistance?  It is well known that A LOT of BTC people hate alts because well... alts are by definition not BTC.

Quote
The whole point of Darkcoin is that the coins become fungible. You can't link them to anything, so they become eCash. If you can't link the transaction to anything, you can't be accused of anything.

Besides, the SilkRoad bitcoins were recently sold by the US government.

its the actions of those involved, not the crypto.

Pushing up prices requires BTC/USD. Unless Darkcoin's instamine has also produced something like 20mn USD in cash or BTCs (for the pump), what you say is baseless.

That group made a lot of money, but they created the best cryptocurrency till now. The best development team is the Darkcoin team. I believe that Darkcoin will have more notoriety than any other cryptocurrencies, and a great market value!!
