This wont change much for Man Utd dosent really make much of difference because Ronaldo didnt play much in the league. I think this it for Ronaldo in the club and i think this was bound to happen because he isnt used to not playing in the club. Also Fulham won too easily 3-0 today

I feel bad for Manchester United fans and the coach because Ronaldo has repeatedly demonstrated that he doesn't care about the team and is only concerned with his personal success since returning to the club. There are 25 players on a team; sometimes you play, sometimes you sit out and support your teammates; he should stop crying when he doesn't get playing time.

It's best if he stays away from the team for the time being; ETH's decision is the best one, and I'm glad the club supported him on it.

Finally, my first yellow cap and it didn't even bump me several places up as I thought it would , I guess the competition in this pool is outrageous and needs one to be on top of their game to be among the top.

Congratulations on your first yellow cap,I know that feeling,it is a great feeling and enjoy your free bet which I suggest you use it tomorrow in the upcoming Premier League weekend.

I see that this week was one with the least points so far in the pool and that is why we had not a lot of changes in the top except the leader which changed if I saw it correctly.Personally for me was also a good round I would call it as I did not move up but I also did not move down.

The odd of Liverpool being so low is a clear indication that everyone is expecting a convincing win from them.It is crucial that they win this game in order to continue their good run.West Ham is not in their best form especially after not getting a win last weekend,I doubt they will be of any threat to Liverpool tonight.I think a convincing 2-0 for Liverpool,all the pool is widely expecting a Liverpool win and also all of the bookies are also waiting the same.I know that Premier League is full of surprises but I doubt we will have one in the Liverpool game.

The match was close even though we were better in every sector of the match than West Ham. But we failed to score more. Imagine if the penalty was scored LOL.

A bit of a downer today as Villa sacked Stevie G. I really, really wanted him to do well, obviously, plus I liked Villa a lot (them losing me a lot of money this season in betting is proof haha). Will be tough after such heights at Rangers to such lows at Villa.

A bit of a downer today as Villa sacked Stevie G. I really, really wanted him to do well, obviously, plus I liked Villa a lot (them losing me a lot of money this season in betting is proof haha). Will be tough after such heights at Rangers to such lows at Villa.

I am usually against manager changes but this one was sort of necessary. It is not just the bad results but total lack of ideas going forward. Villa under Gerard is one of the most boring clubs in Premier League and I avoided their games on purpose.

Yesterday's game against Fulham was just the last drop to push owners into action.

^  Yup...  It's almost like they don't have an identity if you watch how they play.  I'm a Gerrard fan and I like that he was loyal to Liverpool during his playing days.  But seeing him as manager and how his Villa squad plays like is a good thing because it almost felt like he's the next in line to be LFC manager after Klopp.  They dodged a bullet there imho.

Who knows what Gerrard can bring to Liverpool?As an ex player I am sure his motivation to managing Liverpool would be at least several times higher than managing Aston Villa,for him Aston Villa was a learning experience which lasted as it lasted but a few things I am sure Gerrard has learned there.

In fact I would like to see someone from Liverpool managing the team,and I would not be sad if Gerrard took over,I think Klopp era has ended in the sense that he has got nothing more to give to the club,for this year this comes especially more true than ever.

What a bore fest in Premier League tonight. Don't remember when was the last time we had so little goals in a match day. Most of the games finishing 1:0 and only United looking like they actually want to score. Could have been even bigger win for them tonight. Spurs looking really bad and they can only than Lloris for being just 2:0 down.

My tickets in shambles of course, as expected when both to score fails as miserably as today.

Yeah, there were surprisingly few goals. I expected Liverpool and Newcastle to win by 2 or 3 and both ended 1-0.

I was wondering why he was benched again after starting last week but I guess he didn't learn his lesson and was being a drama queen behind the scenes. Shame, because this could all affect his World Cup performance as that's less than a month away now. I'll be starting a pool for the World Cup soon so keep an eye out for that over in games and rounds but I'll link it here also when it goes live.

Aston villa just dosent have such a good team they will fight really hard not to get relegated this season,Gerrard probobly wont last until winter transfer window if he continues like this. Also another solid week for me and i keep gaining on that first place each round so pretty satisfied with 8th place so far.

expected more from them, but Villa ambitions are probably above results in last few seasons
Fulham is playing above my expectations, somehow saw them as candidates for relegation, and they are pretty decent

I honestly didn't see this one coming; he did well last season, and they played some of the best football in the league; I didn't expect things to turn out this way, but 6 losses in 11 games is unacceptable, and their offense is sackable. So, what happens to Countinho now that Steven Gerrard has left? Steven was the only one who remained hopeful and attempted to resurrect his career, and he turned down offers from other clubs to play for Villa because of S. Gerrard. Everyone is aware of what happened to R. James following Ancelloti's departure from Everton.

At the moment, I am not aware of any potential candidates; perhaps it is time for John Terry.

There is a huge problem going on behind the scenes, Ronaldo is still pissed about not getting a move in the summer, and the limited playing time isn't helping the situation for a man who is about to play his final World Cup, he's trying to send a message to the coach that he deserves to play, but this isn't the best way to do it, I understand his frustration, but no player is bigger than the club.

The World Cup pool will only last 30 days, it will be exciting and competitive. When it's official, someone should tag me to the thread..  @hilariousetc

I wouldn't mind a surprise, in a different way, I went for a Liverpool win of course but if I lose and everyone else loses (like what happened with brighton lol) then I don't mind.

United vs Chelsea is the one everyone needs to surprise us though, and not with 0-0!! I have BTTS and since we have no Ronaldo playing I think the team will be very very different style.
