Since they are still listing the 27$ price I am assuming they are just selling those R7s that cheap. I will pick myself up one.
As an investor I am now losing money on GPUCoin. Hopefully the price will come back, but really this business was ran very poorly so it would not surprise me if it did not.
There is still plenty of premine left in Jayme's bloated development fund, is there a problem with using this to pay out to investors every time a batch of GPUs is sold?

Honestly what this coin needs is promotion.
Could the dev "hire" a pr team for Twitter, Facebook, BTCTalk pr?
Store is setup, everything's seemingly working fine, but very few people know of the coin or have any real incentive in getting in at this stage.

Good morning everyone (or day/night depending on where you are), Let me begin by thanking everyone for their feedback/comments/concerns and encouragement. I wanted to share my thoughts briefly and answer a few questions. If your question isn't answered please email [ support@gpucoinstore.com ] as it hard keeping track of everything in this thread. First and most importantly we are developing and implementing a marketing plan AND we are in contact with mintpal. Second, we are going to be adding more countries to shipping list, please email me if you want your country added. Third, the R7s are not a pricing mistake. Our distributor gave us a great price and we are not selling at a loss. In regards the current price of GPUC, my interpretation of the situation is we are getting affected by falling price of BTC. If you look at the charts you will see that all markets are lowering : http://coinmarketcap.com/Now I don't want to make excuses, every step of the way there was probably something we could have done things better. However everyone at GPUC is committed to this project and we will make sure that we listen and react to all the ideas on how to do things better. We are two weeks old and looking back, I feel like we have made great progress.

OMG, been away for like a few days and the price of GPUcoin has plummeted to half what i paid. Not good, to be honest. i think there is a market correction going on. And many of the smaller miners will simply drop out, anyone who cant survive without a decent profit will go under. this is dangerous, as no money flowing will mean a further decline on the prices.
But at the same time, as there are less coins turning up on the market as people dump their last to survive. We will see a very gradual climb again. I know for a fact that there is technology planned to boost the bitcoin market, with the introduction of miners, bitcoin ATMs and other payment machines for fuel etc..
So bitcoin is not dead, and will never be that way. So grab yourself a bargain while you can.
On another note, GPUcoin why did you not market the coin before launch with a few of the bitcoins you had from the IPO working with professionals. Thats how i would have done this.
Unfortunately showing signs of unprofessionalism. But hey we were all there once.
Remember people there is more to come from BItcoin and all the other coins, well some anyway that aren't completely pointless that is.
Ah, regarding the R7, great price by the way, but simply can not compete with the UK, as your delivery prices are more than double the price of the GPU.
No offence to the CEO, but he has no experience with companies, what company has he run before thats what i would like to know. Im no expert, but i would say none.. Anyway the bitching aside, he did stay well communicated with the IPO members and stuck to his word on everything so far. But man, come on get this coin marketed.. Where did that spelling mistake member go managing the marketing..
Come on lets make some waves on this coin, spread the word.. Post to facebook, twitter and lets kick this coin to the moon, damn it, now i am even saying it, that damn moon coin.. Dont forget to vote at mintcoin, I shouldn't be doing this, why am i doing this..am i getting paid, don't think so, wheres that marketer, wheres the communications team. there isnt one. doh.. Come on..
Regards,
M

need this coin at mintpal..please stay away from cryptorush that cursed exchange site..
Can you tell me what's wrong with cryptorush? I think it is the most stable exchange at the moment. Stable? Hardly! They "lose" millions of coins (ZEIT) and they act as if nothing happened, it's laggy, doesn't have enough volume and it's badly designed. Should i go on? I love cryptsy most stable exchange along with mintpal to date. I am not so keep on crypto rush always drops out, don't mind it, but pain in the arse when your about to close a deal it drops out.

Things don't look good and it might be a good idea for everyone who has coins there to withdraw them.

No, i feel that the prices of coins has dropped of considerably, so will be looking to stop for a while. Doesn't mean you all have to. its my choice. to be honest, there are far too many exchanges. there need so t be some regulation on the amount of exchanges that pop up.

I have spoken to part of the team. I am very aware and concerned with Cryptorush. Everything you have heard is probably true. We need an exchange we can trust. We think Mintpal is the next logical step, and hopefully Cryptsy once we have the community and volume. I would not keep anything you can not afford to lose at Cryptorush right now. There is too much bad tweets from people long in the cryptoworld and if you just go sit in on their irc channel, you can watch the disaster unfold in real time. Until Mintpal, I think Bittrex and Atomic would be our best exchanges, problem is they are not well known, but their security and professionalism is way above Cryptorush (at least lately).

I am currently in contact with a few exchanges to try and get GPUC back up to the trading volume we were at. It's certainly not good that our best exchange is now having difficulties staying afloat.

Sigh. I'm in the same boat as you. Trying to buy GPUCoin to keep it going now I have 2 mil coins just in that account and I can't do anything about it. Let's hope they let just access it and withdraw.

i'm still pretty new to the exchange and how that effects things. so from previous comments, if the exchanges have low volume, does that mean my coins sitting on my computer hurts the value of the coin?
