Yesterday our DOGE pool found very interesting block: 425147. https://dogechain.info/block/672e7d256e37e17f45a8a2b735d2a997819fcd910d3b636d6a93ba02c389506a
Reward for this block is insane: 18,631,163.5237315, while standard block reward is currently 32150 DOGE !
It comes mostly from fees from that transaction: https://dogechain.info/tx/9843a46580d6ad7d9e07a679346f0102e0206201d8490da910ab2d4daf408744

That caused small  issue regarding DOGE balances. For few hours miners balances contained rewards for that block. As a pool operator I have a problem what to do with those coins. I decided not to include them in rewards for block 425147 atm.

My plan is to wait 2 weeks. If nobody claims a right to those coins I will distribute them between miners who mined block 425147.

FYI

2 weeks passed. Nobody claimed a right to those coins.
Today I've distributed block reward ( minus pool fees) for block 425147 between miners who mined that block.
So don't be surprised when you see sudden increase of your doge balance. Smiley

I'm really curious about that transaction fee. Wish there was a way to track down the person who did it and find out if it was a mistake or if he's some crazy DOGE billionaire who was bored and wanted to see what would happen if he paid a super crazy fee.

I don't see a way to track down that person. Only thing I could do was to post that info and wait 2 weeks. If someone was looking for those coins he certainly would find this topic on bitcointalk by googling block number.

Anything wrong with auto payout for FTC?
I have payout threshold set at 50 but curently confirmed 105... usually I get paid 55-65.

Thanks.

FTC pool down from 3 am UTC.

Phew! Same here UK.  Showing last shares as 3am on LTC and 2:59 on PPC.

Woke up this morning to beeping from the cellar and a noticeable "coolness" to the air.  Thought it was just me!

Looks like DOGE and LTC have been "unmerged" because of the outage! No DOGE blocks mined for the last 5 LTC blocks and https://www.litecoinpool.org/pools now lists Coinotron as non-merged mining pool!

Sadly poool's doge wallet database has been corrupted during outage. I'm redownloading doge blockchain right now. In 90 min MM should be up and running

FYI

Today we are migrating our pool to the new server.
Mining should be almost unaffected. Website will be disabled for 2-3 hours. Coinotron's ip address will change.
Because propagation of new ip might take few hours, during that time two servers will be active.
Next we will merge your mining data from old server to the new one.

FYI

Viacoin has been added to merged mining with LTC. ATM VIA coins are increasing your profits by about 2%
VIA coins are mined in proportional mode, coins need 3600 ( about 1 day ) confirmations to be available for the withdrawal.
