coinotron
the rewards for shares isn't displayed for NVC (10 shares already counted)
displayed only Hashrate and Estimated coins/day
http://s019.radikal.ru/i616/1302/cf/bf7d321061ca.jpg

UPD: very slowly updated stats - 5 minutes of the 10 shares only shows 2.

NVC share difficulty is 48, stats are averaged for 10 minutes, your hashrate 20kh/sec.
All together cause such effect.

Ah. Here is explanation:
This is just rough estimation of reward not reward itself.

You must remember that during the round we don't know what will be the value of solved block. In other words block value changes because of algorithm of constant correction of difficulty. This is property of PPC and NVC.
And I'm just guessing what this new value will be based on value of last known solved block.

It is calculated like this:

Current round reward = 0.95 * Previous Block value

This affects share value as well. In your case:

estimated value = 0.95 * 0.0110544 = 0.0105012

When pool solves block we know its exact value and use that value in reward calculation. ( no 0.95 multiplier )

How NVC payout queue works?

I tested NVC mining just after start, before adding coinotron to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=143221.0 OP.

and, well,  payout is still waiting, mostly mined pps but some pplns too.

it was way below first 5% od shares so i cant figure out how queueing could work for me not to have my payout yet.

i dont care about puny 28NVC, just curious.

It works exactly the same way as other coins.
Your coins are confirmed and ready for withdrawal, but you didn't set up NVC payout address.

Maybe you need to consider some backup plan. Like attaching a backup server (could be a cheap solution in case got attacked).

That makes perfect sense. Support felony denial of service attacks to counter a free market action.  Tongue

You are not forced to participate. This is probably a campaign to protect your litecoin investment. Who are the real criminals here?

I don't even understand the purpose of DDOSing a pool.  Why not just solo mine until it comes back up?  What effect is the DDOS supposed to have anyway?

If it was intended to damage NVC it certainly hasn't done that.  In fact, I'd say it has helped the coin establish some legitimacy when it otherwise might not have, if it has done anything.

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th.  The Attorney: I would advise you do that.  Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?  The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law.
