The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I've checked MiningRigRentals with EWBF.
EWBF reports same problem, seems there is problem on MiningRigRentals side.

That's interesting. I have had EWBF working with MRR for months. I added Gminer to the HiveOS flight sheet for a couple pools including MRR. MRR seems to be the only pool that has issues. Are you on discord to possibly discuss further? i also contacted MRR, but they have their system and generally, it is on the miner dev to conform to them not the other way around...

Attention!
Yesterday my Windows 10 issued Trojan:Win32/Zpevdo.A in miner.exe and removed it.
Developers, please comment it.

There is some option to change the difficulty of the strato. I only get an average of 4 or 5 shares per minute, and I think they are few. I think the optimum would be between 10-15 shares per minute

But I do not see documentation

It's just windows being windows as you are running a program that's not whitelisted on their end. This is normal and has been going on for years. Just exclude your folder from Windows defender... Better yet get rid of windows defender.

Just FYI, I got it working by using the "Get Custom Port" option on MRR. The dev on their side believes your miner is lacking the client.reconnect feature, EWBF was also lacking this early on but has since added it. Glad I have Gminer working,

Please take this into consideration as a lot of people will look to use that flight sheet on HiveOS and it will not work for them unless you add the necessary features.

Trying to use on HiveOS.  I keep getting an error, "Minimal hashrate for gminer is not set".  I don't see any config option for this.  Any ideas on how to fix and/or get working on HiveOS?

Thank you for research, we will support "client.reconnect" stratum command in recent version.

GMiner v1.12 available for download

v1.12
+ performance improvements for Equihash 144,5/Equihash 192,7

Palit GTX 1070 Ti JetStream 8GB ~62 Sol/s

EVGA GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition 11GB ~86 Sol/s
Gigabyte 1080 Ti AORUS Waterforce WB Xtreme Edition 11GB ~91 Sol/s

Equihash 192,7:

Palit GTX 1070 Ti JetStream 8GB ~35 Sol/s
MSI GTX 1080 SEA HAWK EK X 8GB ~36 Sol/s
EVGA GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition 11GB ~50 Sol/s

Bump!

Any ideas?  I've found a few other posts on other forums with similar questions, but never an answer.  :-(

I feel like I need to add something besides just "pers Safecoin" in the Extra Config Arguments, but don't see any other option in the readme that might address this error.

Will be much better ask this question to HiveOS support or ask into HiveOS thread or on HiveOS forum/telegram channel.

It's not a problem with gminer or HiveOS. It's warning/reminer to you that you activate software hashrate watchdog but not set hashrate limit.

Figured it out!

I had Watchdog turned on in HiveOS, but had only defined a min hashrate for EWBF.  Had to turn it off (or define a min hashrate for GMiner).

<edit>Just saw your post HaloGenius, you were correct.  I had just forgotten I had ever turned that on.  Thanks for the tip! </edit>

In version 1.12 it only got worse. Now Windows 10 does not give to download archive with miner - delete file and notify about virus in archive.
