...and you had to go back and add more NONSENSE...   didn't ya now?!?    Lips sealed

How the FUCK do you know whether I sold at the highest point or not...  Mr. Houdini???     Kiss

I don't and never said I did.  Frankly I don't care if YOU made money or not.  I don't care if you sold at the highest or lowest point.

You took what I said the wrong way.  Maybe not phrased the best by me.  We ALL took a loss on HVC if involved because we could have been investing or mining in something better.  I'm sure we all have had 2nd thoughts at some point with HVC.

The Crystall ball comment was a response to your comment about the crystal ball.

"Oh, BTW, my Crystal Ball is working pretty good.  Had it polished up a couple of weeks ago and I've been seeing things quite clearly. Grin" was not a reference to your personal finances or investment but to the fact that I saw major problems with HVC a few weeks ago. As in my "crystal ball" was working fine a few weeks ago cause I saw what was coming.

So chill a bit.  I'm not attacking you.  I don't do that (at least never on purpose or by intention).

Peace,
Carlo

Just wondering why Keccak feels the need to not respond and just (for now I assume) abandon this coin. How hard is it to just find one random person on here and pass the project to that person.

If this coin is dying and the dev is MIA i wonder why people are still mining and buying HVC on mintpal?
I'm kinda new to all this business, i don't understant why people buy the coin if it's dead.

Just like the stock market where some people will take some of their portfolio and invest in high risk/reward.

Probably not really any different here.

I'm sure someone could but why would they want to unless they had a heavy stake in the coin and felt it was worth saving?

In a nutshell they would have to have a really good reason to try.  Otherwise it would be much easier to just start a new coin similar to HVC that said developer could/would control from day one.

That's my thinking anyway,
Carlo

Very true... the only positive side in taking over HVC is the already established user base, pools, exchanges...

Yes but probably not worth the trade-off.  You can get miners and pools pretty easily.  Get miners, pools and active community and exchanges will follow.

it is time for those beautiful charts to be posted
That's not for another 12.5 hours or so Wink

At least it looks like http://hvc.42tx.com/ has caught up with the chain again, so I'll give filling in the blanks another go tomorrow.

Edit: Only a few, unfortunately - looks like it didn't really 'catch up' so much as re-started counting them.  There's a whole chunk of blocks missing from that explorer.

hi there,

it seems heavycoind was down for small amount of time and explorer missed some blocks, doing a reindex atm. missing blocks will be fixed in 1 hours most likely.

when something happens like this, please shoot me a PM and I can fix it asap. can't find time to catch-up with threads nowadays.
