I am not sure about the popularity of the BPL outside Bangladesh. They got considerable revenues from India during the early years. But now BPL needs to compete with other franchise leagues such as BBL, SA20 and ILT20 for global audience, since the December-January time window is pretty much jampacked. Anyone following the International League T20 in Abu Dhabi? Yesterday Abu Dhabi Knight Riders lost to Dubai Capital by a big margin. A number of top international players are participating in this league and I am surprised that the viewership has remained relatively low in India. The ongoing bilateral series against New Zealand seems to have impacted the TRP ratings. A few associate players are also making their mark, with George Munsey of Scotland scoring 57 for the losing side yesterday, and Fred Klaassen of Netherlands conceding just 15 runs in 4 overs.

There are simply too many leagues around and if you add in the ICC tournaments, there is hardly any free slot available in the calendar. ILT20 is termed as the second most expensive league in the world (after the IPL), but from what I can see it has failed to attract much enthusiasm outside the GCC nations. India is playing a series against New Zealand at this point, and that has impacted the viewership of the franchise leagues in a big way. Some of the IPL franchises and ZeeTV (broadcaster) invested in this league quite heavily and I don't know how they are going to get a return for their investments.

I don't see very good experienced players in Khulna Tigers team. But most of the times their openers perform poorly. But again in some matches I see their players perform great. That's why they win some games. But their bowling line and batting.  Both the lines are not very good. Due to which they are not able to perform well in the matches. But hope if they try hard then they can do something good. For that we have to enjoy the games.

Provably the franchisees are not very enthusiastic about BPL. Due to which the number of foreign players are very less in number. No one dares to buy a player with a lot of money because there is a large number of losses. The franchisees wanted to come to an agreement on BPL revenue sharing but the cricket board did not agree. As a result, the number of good foreign players has also decreased due to low budget. If this league is to be revived then the interest of the franchisees must be increased otherwise the league lost its popularity.
 
In Khulna Tigers team i know two players who are recognized to cricket world, one is Tamim Iqbal and the other is Shai Hope. 210 runs by these two batsmen in the 32nd match was a big achievement for Khulna Tigers. And they came really close to doing that. They won the first T20I, and then lost the second one by a whisker. The morale will be very high for them. The match will start in around 3.5 hours from now. News from the Indian camp is that Umran Malik may be back in the playing XI, in place of the useless Yuzvendra Chahal. New Zealand XI will be the same one from the second match.

Shai Hope could have gotten the century,, but the runs were a little short for him. They had extra overs to score more runs. But, they won the match already.

But at the same time, you have to be practical. A large part of Women's cricket is based on a subsidy model and most of the cricket boards (except BIG-3) can't afford to add additional costs to their bills.

I won't say that women's cricket is not based on a subsidy model. I also understand that the money given to women cricketers and the support staff comes from the revenue generated by the men's cricket team. What I do not like about ICC here is that they allow everything like buying players for countries that do not have talents but do not put in place a strict law to implement the DRS system for every game of women's cricket.

It is just like binding every female cricketer to the rules of cricket but as a women player, you cannot decide/justify whether you have the independence or justice to question the bound.
