The decider for India vs New Zealand T20I series will be played today, at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. New Zealand wants to achieve the rare distinction of defeating India in India. And they came really close to doing that. They won the first T20I, and then lost the second one by a whisker. The morale will be very high for them. The match will start in around 3.5 hours from now. News from the Indian camp is that Umran Malik may be back in the playing XI, in place of the useless Yuzvendra Chahal. New Zealand XI will be the same one from the second match.

India are well placed in this final and decider match of the series. They have scored 234 runs and believe me no matter how well you play, it is not easy to score 234 runs in only 20 overs.

Coming to the Indian innings, it was a one man show by Shubman Gill  who scored 126 runs in only 63 balls and i beleive it should be match winning for them.

There are times when India seems to be invincible and this performance by the bowlers blew me away as i did not expect India to end the match this fast. Was expecting some resistance from the New Zealand batsman and the main aspect is that the fast bowlers took all the wickets and Kuldeep Yadav was the lone spinners who bowled in this match for India and he went for runs.

I think it's pretty evident now that Gill is the next big thing for India in cricket, we have got the number 1 choice of opener with Rohit Sharma, probably Ishan Kishan can fill the position once Rohit retires. I am just hoping gill performs similarly in test cricket as well because if he does one can say he is the next Indian prodigy. But I will be much more confident about him once he scores with similar potential on foreign pitches as well. Also this clearly shows that how he can change gears while he is batting.

The jury is still out on Gill as far as T-20 is concerned (he already proved himself in other formats), he played beautifully today but it's pretty rare if we look at his T-20 (including IPL) PP's record, he's one of the worst openers in Indian T-20 history, along with KL Rahul.

After India's defeat in the first match, many thought that India would not win the T20 series. Even I thought so. But the performance of the Indian players in the next two matches impressed everyone. Every Indian player has performed well in today's match as well. Shubman Gill scored 126 runs off just 63 balls. The strike rate was 200. He played great. Hardik Pandya managed to pick up 4 wickets. He bowled very well. If the Indian players can perform like this, India has a high chance of becoming champions in the upcoming ODI World Cup.

But now the indian team got some gem player like Shubman gill , umran, Hardik etc who dominate the entire newZealand team without any doubt. No one would have ever thought in their wildest dreams that New Zealand will be out for just 66 runs. How on the earth is that possible. Well, India have crushed the New Zealand team and won this series.  Hardik Pandya took 4 wickets and everyone else chipped in with 2 wickets each.

This is a strong message given by the Indian to the opponents, that it is impossible to beat Inia on their home ground. I always thought that India will win this last match but never though the margin of winning will be 168 runs.

New Zealand lost very badly against India in the third T20 match yesterday, where India batted very hard in the first innings and gave New Zealand a target of 235 runs.  The entire batting pitch turned upside down in New Zealand's case, that is, New Zealand looked like an insignificant team in front of India's bowling. Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, Shivam Mavi were very disappointed to see the helplessness of the New Zealand batting in front of the Indian bowlers. Daryl Mitchell scored 35 runs, Santner scored 13 runs and the remaining eight players managed to score only 18 runs. Looking at the team scoreboard, you can easily guess how helpless New Zealand was in front of the Indian bowlers and batting.

Well... I wasn't expecting any miracles from New Zealand, but after them winning the first match I had hoped for a decent series. And yesterday's match was one of the most one-sided matches in the history of T20 cricket. As things stand, yesterday's win ranks 8th in terms of the highest margin of victory in a T20I match. And 1st, if we consider only matches between ICC full members. The record remains Czech Republic's victory 257 run over Turkey in 2019 (but to their credit, Czech team didn't had a single national playing for them and Turkey was 100% native).

Khulna Tigers scored 210 runs in this exciting match. Despite scoring 210 runs in today great match, Khulna Tigers could not win. Comilla Victorians snatched the victory by crossing such a big target. Comilla batsman Johnson Charles hit a huge six with 10 balls to spare. Johnson Charles scored a century with 107 runs off 56 balls. Mohammad Rizwan also batted fast. Mohammad Rizwan collected 73 runs off 39 balls. Best wishes to the beloved team Comilla Victorians.

Spectators usually look forward to this type of match. The number of such matches in the BPL will not be too much. As a native player of Bangladesh, Tamim Iqbal has performed well. He scored 61 from 95 and Shai Hope who scored 91 off 55 balls. In the performance of these two, the total runs reached 210, but in the end Comilla Victorians won the match by Chasing the run. Yesterday's match was one of the enjoyable matches in this session.

I would say this was the most exciting and enjoyable match of BPL. Even after giving a huge target of 211 runs to the Khulna team, they will be defeated. After giving such a huge target, everyone assumed that Khulna would win the match very easily. But Comilla proved everyone wrong and easily won the match. Johnson Charles and Rizwan's brilliant batting gave Comilla an easy win. The performance of the Khulna bowlers was very poor. Every bowler in the team except Nasum Ahmed gave a lot of runs.

Slowly it looks like BPL is getting more popular. If we get to watch similar matches often cricketing fans will start watching the matches. Just take IPL, almost every match there'll be hard fight till the last and most of the matches run till the last ball with targets mostly close to 200 runs. We need more matches similar to the Khulna Tigers vs Comilla Victorians.

I don't think BPL is getting popular. Because I don't see much attendance in BPL matches. The main reason why BPL is not popular is mismanagement. Since the inception of BPL we have been hearing various controversies about it. And seeing the latest bad decisions by the umpires. Despite BCB being a rich enough cricket board they are organizing BPL without DRS technology. The third umpire also created controversy with several wrong decisions. Due to these reasons the popularity of BPL is decreasing day by day. Viewers are losing interest in watching BPL.

NZ were experimenting with new players which turned out to be a bad decision since most of their new players performed miserably on Indian pitches. Gill was amazing for sure, but he still has a long way to go.

Sky is far more consistent when compared to him which is why I feel that he is truly the next big Indian batsman.

None of the franchises leagues can depend mainly on the revenue from outside. First, they need to maximize the revenue earning potential within the host country. BPL is broadcasted in India and some of the other countries, but there is fierce competition from other leagues such as SA20, BBL and ILT20. But then, they should focus on Bangladesh first. It is a country of close to 200 million people and right now only a fraction of the revenue earning potential is being realized. And regarding the recent controversies in BPL, it is disappointing. Hopefully BCB will get things in order without much delay.

India balling side has improved alot in last year and this is making their team more strong and unbeaten than before.
