While I'm not a massive fan of Jones as a person, at least what we've seen, and heard of him ever since he kind of unofficially retired. He is one of the best mixed martial artists to have graced the UFC.

I don't think anyone likes Jon Jones as a person, even himself and his family, but he was a fantastic mma fighter.
I am saying he was because we didn't see him doing any real fighting in more than two years, not counting beating up his wife.
With all this added weight and muscles I think we are going to see completely different Jones in octagon, but Ngannou would smashed him if he was his first heavyweight opponent

After that incident with him regarding the Domestic Violence, he commit with his wife even though he evaded that case somehow because his wife didn't continue to file a case against him, it is still a bad image for him even though his wife has turned down the case, but what can we say a bad image is really something that fans don't like about someone, but I never am a Jon Jones fan I never liked him, nor neither did I hated him, it just manifests in what I want to say about him,

They are both great fighters but after seeing the loss of Yan against Sterling with a split decision, I think he is getting slow.
Sugar can defeat Yan. He is taller and has the reach. Yan has to get closer to hit Sean and it is when a mistake will turn into a defeat, possibly rear naked choke if not KO by a head kick.

I think that loss was a slap to the face on Petr Yan, for me Petr Yan was at fault here and he surely underestimated Sterling so much that he might not train enough for the upcoming fight, and so I think for Sean O' Malley the pink poodle, I think he will not let this poodle win and might train his ass out because of his lost over Aljamain Sterling, Petr Yan has a tendency to be more effective when comes from a lost and doesn't want to have that same defeat he will surely do anything to win here,

O'Malley is looking very confident about entering this fight. I think the only way Sean O'Malley could win is speed (to avoid attacks), jabs and reach advantage. His 13cm reach advantage and 10cm height advantage is a lot. Their fight will be like Mark Hunt vs Stefan Struve fight. But Hunt is a heavyweight. Yan and Sean are bantamweight. O'Malley can win this fight by points, even though it will be extremely hard. Specially if O'Malley must be 200% careful with his jabs (primary weapon imho in this fight), because his last fight ended with no contest due to eye poke.

One thing is for sure about Sean Sherk the competition in his time is really weak so comparing that to the time of Khabib Nurmagomedov is really absurd, and comparing them is so disrespectful in my opinion, and saying Khabib doesn't have fought a grappler with good hands, and yeah RDA, Justin Gaethje, Michael Johnson, and Dustin Poirier those guys were totally dominated by Khabib Nurmagomedov easily and great wrestler with good hands and saying just because Khabib is not in the top 10,

I think for me Khabib Nurmagomedov is the real GOAT maybe he surely cut his career short but you can not let it slip all of his fights are very very dominant, pretty you can see from his opponent's facial expression that they are physically and mentally broken by Khabib, and if his career continues I think it will still be the same he will still be dominant even today,

How can a person even create a top10 list, when there are there are 8 weight classes and thousands of fighters. It is understandable to create a top10 list of active fighters (like pound-for-pound list). But to compare a fighter that has retired 2 years ago with a fighter that has retired 12 years ago? Fighting styles evolve, each generation fighters are difference. How to compare Mark Coleman and Ngannou? Second would destroy first in first round.

I agreed MMA is continuously changing and comparing the style of Khabib Nurmagomedov to the style of Sean Sherk is really down right Absurd, it is possible that his brain got damaged for not beating the problem child 2 times, and got knocked out even his brain cells got knockout aswell, for getting up something like this, or maybe he is trying to pull down the greatness of Khabib Nurmagomedov in trying to fight Jake Paul aswell, I really don't know what he is after, but that short legacy of Khabib will surely remember but not Tyron Woodley,

Araujo almost get KO'ed in the first round, I think Andrea Lee is just refrain herself to not punch Araujo when he's fall, there's few seconds she waiting for. While Grasso is clearly dominating the fight and she doesn't only fought by distance, she force Wood to fight on the ground and moreover she won via submission. As we know Grasso is mainly a boxing style, not ground fight specialist.

I think Grasso will win via KO since Araujo chin has been exposed.

I'm missing the next few events unfortunately due to travelling. I'm going to miss my UFC weekends, but I will get my predictions up early this week for the next event. Obviously, any cancellations I'm probably not going to amend. If I do make any predictions in the next few weeks (situation depending) I won't be reviewing any footage, so it'll be done from memory rather than statistics or anything like that. So, I could potentially be right off for the next three weeks.

Looks like I'm missing a few good events too, and obviously the boxing with Anderson, and Jake which to be honest I was quite looking forward too. Anyway, as for the Khabib, Woodley debate I don't think there's much debate in it. Wrestling wise Khabib probably takes it quite easily. Remember, Khabib was a champion in Sambo before he came into the limelight, and a bloody good one one at that. So, while he may have had a relatively short UFC career, he's probably got one of the longer careers out of most fighters. I mean, we've all seen the bear video.

Bye-bye The Boa Constrictor. It was always fun to watch your fights. I think Aleksei Oleinik is going to completely retire from MMA and focus on teaching his techniques to others. The guy is 45, 8 years in UFC, 78 professional fights and has been fighting since 1996.

Yeah Araujo is a good underdog pick if she shows up in that kind of shape and if she could maintain that pace for 5 rounds.  And I'm not sure how Grasso is with the take down defense these says against a fighter like Araujo.  I remember she got rag dolled by Felice Herrig back in the day.  She was a huge favorite in that match up too.

I really think that O’Malley is overrated. Yes, he is finding success in his career. But I think he is being given a lot more credit than he actually deserves. He has had 16 fights in his career and never lost. That is a remarkable career so far. But I think he still has a lot to prove in the future. Obviously, he is not meant to be scared of Yan. But that does not mean that he will not get beaten by Petr Yan. By not saying that this is going to be the first L for O’Malley. Even though I really do not like him, I have to agree that he is a really capable fighter.

I am not interested in hearing what Tyron Woodley says about Khabib Nurmagomedov. Woodley was nowhere near the greatness of Khabib. So, I think he should keep his opinion to himself. Like TopTort777 said, I am not willing to listen to someone who lost against Jake Paul (a YouTuber).

Alexei Oleinik has had a decent career so far, he is really old at this point, and he has been involved in combat sports for 45 years. That must have grave consequences for his body. Historically, he has been fighting for a long time. I also feel it's time he stepped down from MMA. Considering his age, I think he could suffer a fatal injury if he keeps fighting. He has entertained a lot of people for so long. Now I think it is time for him to become a mentor and pass his knowledge on to the next generation of fighters. He had a pretty decent career, probably not the most impressive, but certainly a very entertaining one and I don't expect he will have any regrets if he decides to retire now.
