I am shocked. I saw videos before, however, it did not look for Jon Jones to be this giant. This also certainly makes it appear that Francis Ngannou might have a real challenge hehe. I predict Dana to make the announcement after UFC 281.

He looks kinda fat. but maybe it was the belly that kind of distracting in my opinion, and if he wants to really get into a Francis Ngannou fight then he needs to venture in making a dedication and not just to be something a Jon Jones would do, for me, I don't know if he can take Francis Ngannou just by buffing many pounds to be on the Heavyweight Division, for me Jon Jones should not have any chances anymore in the UFC, after that incident with his partner that got thrown the drain just because his Partner amended the case


Another piece of news after Khamzat Chimev announce that he will be going up the middleweight division on his Twitter account but now he is posting a new Tweet saying that Colby Covington is next, well I think Khamzat Chimaev is targeting all UFC fighters that have beef on him, and before engaging into the Middleweight division he is aiming to take care of Colby Covington then going up the 185 lbs, Middleweight, but I think he is already establishing to get both belts on that division by doing that,

But many are saying that Colby Convington is Khamzat Chimaev's Kryptonite I think Khamzat Chimaev had enough and wants to prove those critics wrong,

I think it's prolly better for the UFC brass to match him up vs Gane or Miocic.  So it's gonna be some sort of a fight to get Jones comfortable in the cage again and it gives the fans a taste of what's to come if he wins.  They could even do it with an interim belt on the line.  That way, Ngannou has no choice but to fight the winner.  

Anyway, I'm still trying to sort my lottery ticket out for the weekend.  But I'll prolly end up with something like this...

His legs are still very thing compared to all other heavyweights and many top light-heavyweight fighters in UFC.
I can imagine his fight will look similar like when Adesanya ventured into octagon with Jan Błachowicz, and we all know what happened then

Francis Ngannou is still recovering from his surgery and once he is ready to fight, he will be having a line of fighters waiting to challenge him and if Jon Jones is willing to fight there is no doubt he will find a way to defeat anyone and he will be the right choice, if not Curtis Blaydes is on a winning streak and we might even see the rematch between Stipe Miocic but the only problem is that he never fought after his title loss.

Khamzat  vs Covington is something to look forward to. Exciting fights ahead while we are also going to witness Izzy and Peirera. Miss seeing one big KO that will shock us.

We might see a knockout during Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya bout. About Covington will he be willing to face Khamzat Chimaev.

I heard that John Jones wants to fight Francis Ngannou on his return to the UFC.
The first time I heard about it was when Chael Sonnen discussed it on YouTube.

Honestly, I doubt this guy. However, it appears as though this is going to be a good fight for John Jones.
Moreover, if he manages to defeat Francis Ngannou, then it is going to be great for him.
But it is Francis Ngannou we are talking about. So, this is not going to be easy at all.

Here are the results for the UFC Fight Night: Dern VS Yan

Mackenzie Dern VS Xiaonan Yan ROUND 5 DECISION - LOST

Well, Xiaonan Yan has held up to that submission and gets back up, so that was really impressive, and from what I see Yan Striking was really fast enough to release that volume of strikes, to Dern, that is why all 5 rounds were a majority for Yan, and mostly all of Yan's side kicks were getting in, you can see when Xiaonan's punches get into Dern you can see Mackenzie Dern's reaction on Yan's punches, you can see that Dern really struggle with that takedowns,

Randy Brown VS Francisco Trinaldo ROUND 3 DECISION - WIN

The reach and height of Randy Brown really did have an advantage through the fight but surely those takedowns from Trinaldo is something that Brown have anticipated and he surely is brushing off those submission attempts, but surely the volume of strikes have accumulated was really punishing for Trinaldo, and this fight ends up in a decision both fighters was great it was a close match but as I have predicted Randy Brown surely had the upper hand when it comes to Height and Reaches,

Aleksei Oleinik VS Ilir Latifi ROUND 3 DECISION - WIN

Ilir Latifi fought with his leg swollen and he didn't tell ringside and coach that he has, but he can not afford to cancel a fight against the Legendary Aleksei Oleinik, it was an absolute great fight you can see takedowns from the two but the standing was when Latifi gets into Oleinik the most, so that is it the fight end up with a decision win for Ilir Latifi, and Latifi is now turning 40 so this might be his last match if the UFC will not give him a contract again, but if he still wants to fight maybe the UFC will still give him something,

But I have to say at the same time Mackenzie did try to be aggressive. But she could not land clean shots. The defense from Yan was too good.

This was a hard-fought victory for Randy brown. And I really feel like the decision could have gone either way. But I have to say Randy Brown with the knockdown had the advantage. This was a really close match and I also believe that the decision was also a tough one.

^  Yup...  With Dern an elite grappler, you could say Yan defended reaaally good.  And she had more than a couple of spots when she really got in trouble too.  All her training with Team Alpha Male with Faber and the rest of those guys are paying dividends for Yan.  So yeah, I guess she'll be going next for the title after Zhang Weili.  It's gonna be an all Chinese match up if Zhang Weili wins.

Anyway, it's going to be another weekend without the UFC.  :/

As far as I'm concerned, Latifi had an excellent performance in this fight. Afterward, I think a lot of people had expected him to win because he was clearly the better fighter in this one. There is no doubt that Latifi had a better scope in terms of the total strike, significant strike, and take down than his opponent.

Oleinik fought well as well, but Latifi was a much better fighter than him. I have been wondering what will happen to the future of his career from this point on. I am not going to be surprised if he announces soon that he is going to retire, since he is already quite old.

Might get a look at Zhang odds in this case (possible all-chinese meet) but too far away for me to remember.

When I saw the Canceled fight I also think the same but for me, I like the main event because I really want to watch Alexa Grasso and because this fight was rescheduled, and most of the fight was slightly boring in my opinion and Neil Magny VS Daniel Rodriguez was really a let down it should be a rematch between Daniel Rodriguez and Li Jingliang

Nono, this event is actually really good for a Fight Night, non PPV event.  Some good match ups in here imho.  I'm liking Jonathan Martinez vs Cub Swanson, Askar Askarov vs Brandon Royval,  Magny vs Daniel Rodriguez, Melsik Baghdasaryan vs Joanderson Brito, Nick Maximov vs Jacob Malkoun and the banger of bangers Dusko Todorovic vs Jordan Wright!  Bet on the under for that one for sure.  

The main event is just ok but I'm pretty sure there's like a couple of people itt drooling over Alexa Grasso.

I also dont believe that Dana White will organize John Jon vs Francis Ngannou fight. First like you've said, Dana has disagreements with Ngannou. Ngannou wants to get paid a lot. And I think that JJ, as a former big star (yes, former, as he is inactive for long and to me he is addicted, but not a fighter anymore), also wants a big cheque.

Dana will be risking a lot, if he makes this fight happen. He will have to pay them both hell out of money, but no one promise huge PPV sales. The whole even must be special. Sort of a UFC 300. 300 is a nice and round number. Like UFC had UFC 100 with Lesnar, Mir, GSP, Henderson, Bisping, JJ, Coleman, Belcher, Sexyama. That UFC 100 set PPV record of 1.6 million sales.

I couldn't be sure but I think Ngannou still has one fight left to deal in UFC which I think Dana will give to a special fighter like Jones. Dana and Francis are not on good terms as we all know. This is kind of what happened to Nate Diaz who was about to be beaten badly by Khamzat but was prevented by the chaos that happened backstage.

One fight left, I guess should be worth it if Ngannou fights against someone known to be capable of bringing him down.
