So far the last two fights are action-packed, especially the Chandler - Poirier fights where Poirier wins by submission Zhang also won against Carla Esparza via submission its only a matter of minutes before we see the much-anticipated match between Adesanya and Pereira I'm sure this will be a more action-packed than all the rest of the matches, hopefully, Adesanya can avenge all his losses.

Not the kind of result to expect but that's why we're very much unsure who's going to win in this match. Pereira taking down Adesanya is weirder.
Izzy seems very uncomfortable in the cage. I think he almost win if the bell just didn't sound.
In the last round, he was tired and wasn't able to avoid anymore. That was a brutal KO, not a quick knock out.

Don't you think the referee didn't come early to break it? He was punched over and over.

I think you could see this coming before the fight. Adesanya in the press conference looked like he was afraid of Pereira. You could see he was uncomfortable and I thought he was already mentally prepared to lose. I had hoped he’d step up and show his growth in the sport but Pereira was bullying him at the end. I had been saying a lot that alex would win this fight, even though I saw that there were many who believed in Adesanya, but I was still convinced that alex would win this fight and the guy won the fight, there are already 3 victories over Adesanya. on social media there are many comments about this fight, Adesanya was already exhausted, he noticed when alex punched him that resulted in the knockout

in the interviews that Adesanya before the fight seemed that he was intimidated, they were not words of someone confident that he would win, they seemed to me words of someone afraid and who was not convinced that he would come out with a good result and he lost

One hell of a fight, it was like a matrix in the first two rounds as i woke up just in time for the final fight and i was even confused initially whether i was watching a video game . Two of the three African kings lost their belt in the final round and Israel Adesanya was doing really well till the final round and i was expecting him to win on points but the corner of Alex Pereira especially Glover Teixeira was shouting to finish the fight and he just did that.

Betting on Alex via KO was one of my biggest wins in UFC to date. I thought he got lucky in the first round, Izzy would have ended that if there had been 10 seconds more in the clock. Almost a perfect game plan for the former champ but I guess the earlier body shots he took did more damage than expected. He slowed down which allowed Alex to catch him with more solid punches in the last round.

Adesanya knew Pereira's power and he is fully aware that he is not good at wrestling and taking down, so he exploits it, he is on his way to winning the fight and Pereira knew all of this, he has no recourse but to go all out as he also knew that Izzy will protect his lead by playing safe and he is correct Izzy play safe and play defensive which makes Pereira press for the attack, this one deserves a rematch, this is Octagon MMA I saw this as one win for Pereiram Adesanya can still rebound but let's see if there will be an immediate rematch.

I was rooting for Adesanya my champ, I was hoping to see him retain his title and regain some confidence against Pereira who previously had beat him, he really got some beating in that fifth round. I was worried that he was getting too close to the sides and Pereira was able to box him up and delivered some straight punches to his head that forced his guard down and resulted in more direct punches. Progressing, that's another lesson for Adesanya and his team to learn, Pereira has defeated him again because he took full advantage when he had his chance.

Israel Adesanya VS Alex Pereira Round 5 KO/TKO - LOST

Just like what we are talking about Israel Adesanya's ace in his sleeves was the takedowns, and I think he has good Brazilian jiu-jitsu that surely Pereira wasn't expecting that, and it was really unbelievable to see Pereira going to trip Adesanya but Adesanya reverse it with a takedown, and from that, at round 1 Izzy was dominating with his right straight punches it was all he needed, recreating that kickboxing was Izzy was dominating that fight, and I can say that all round 1, 3, and 4 was for Adesanya, while Pereira has the 2nd round, it was going according to Adesanya's Plan and Pereira was really exhausted because of Adesanya's Grappling until that 5th round Pereira Suddenly Changes and 1 round was all he needed to end up Adesanya, I was really shocked right now instead of just  left hook Pereira is constantly blitzing Adesanya, Well that is that in just 4 fights Alex Pereira has become the champion, but I think we can all agree that Adesanya showed tremendously new style but I guess he forgets to shift back to the way he used to fight because Pereira really knows what he will do in the 5th round, it was a lost but I really enjoy the fight,

Carla Esparza VS Weili Zhang ROUND 2 SUBMISSION - WIN

Just like I expected Zhang Weili to do take this fight to the ground a new arsenal for her to finish the fight and I am really happy for her that she never stop and back down to the task at hand, and as good as it gets Weili is winning the scramble and Zhang Weili right now is really good on the ground, that everyone though Carla will be more dominant, but setting that up Zhang Weili just really wants to win this,

Dustin Poirier VS Michael Chandler ROUND 3 SUBMISSION - WIN

Dustin Poirier for me in this fight was really cool and had the great sportsmanship ever, well I really hate the guy, but right now he was surely honest here and when Joe Rogan interview him inside the cage he shouted Who ain't Got Ju-Jitsu! maybe referring to Islam Makhachev's Why they have a Black belt on Ju-Jitsu, where they aren't showing it in their fights, for all that didn't know the video here is Islam Makhachev

Erin Blanchfield VS Molly McCann ROUND 1 SUBMISSION - WIN

It was a clean fight and an unexpected result but this is how MMA fights are especially when both fighters are strong it's just a matter of who will gonna take the first hit and took over the fight. Adesanya just cannot take more punches after he took that huge one and the ref just simply doing his job of stopping unnecessary damage so that they can have another next fight if they want. Both fighters showed great skills but only one will prevail and today was Pereira's day he just defeated one of the hardest UFC fighters to beat.

This was one of the best MMA events I watched recently, and Adesanya won't forget it for long time because lost lost title from Periera.
I think that key factor factor in main event was coach of Pereira who motivated him to win before last round.
Adesanya maybe won more rounds but power and weight was advantage of Pereira who looked like light heavyweight category, and he won in the end.
Everyone should watch this event again from start!

Yup! it was a clean fight even Adesanya said that his corner agreed with the referee's call, for me it was really a good call Alex Pereira has the Knockout capacity to really damage Adesanya he surely has a devastating punch, that could surely knock his opponent out cold, but for me, it was really the best night and best fight of Adesanya, I was really saddened by his lost but that was part of growing up, and Adesanya better luck next time, but it was a new style that Israel Adesanya has shown and I really like it a lot but he should have the switch on the 5th round to his defensive maneuver style to get out of Pereira's blitz in time because Pereira has noticed those Clinching of Adesanya,

I really enjoyed the fight so much that I really thought Israel Adesanya is winning the fight, he was all out those rights straight from Adesanya and was always getting into Pereira the entire fight, And Israel Adesanya surely has a real game plan, that was ruined in the 5th round and that 5th round was the only round needed by Pereira to defeat Adesanya, for me, Israel Adesanya has shown a great fight and would never realize that he is really good at takedowns, for sure Alex Pereira is a real threat for Israel Adesanya to be prepared like this and it goes to show the determination of Alex Pereira in winning the fight with only 1 round,

Just one of those things . I've gotten use to whoever I back losing as of recent . Nah, it was a great fight, and I personally had Izzy up 3-1, although a lot of people I know would disagree with that. Izzy also rocked Alex yet again, just like the kickboxing match, but ultimately lost yet again. It's funny, because it's such a similar story. Maybe, Alex has his number.

Honestly, in the rematch as I'm sure there will be a rematch, Izzy is going to need to knock Alex out. He'll have to be more aggressive, since it has been proven time, and time again given enough time Alex will land on you, and will finish you.

Also, I know Izzy complained, and the ref got criticised for a early stoppage, but honestly I thought he did fairly well. Izzy was going to get knocked out there or at the very least hurt more. I thought it was a good stoppage, there's always that what if in the back of your mind, but Alex is incredibly accurate, and Izzy was already falling over the place prior to that.

I'm not too bummed about the result, it sets up a great rematch, and ultimately the division was getting stale with Izzy cruising to victory all the time. It might actually wake him up a bit, and we might get an even better rematch. I'm almost relieved the division hasn't stagnated which is a weird feeling.

I was close to getting my bet in too, Reyes screwed me first though, otherwise that TKO of Izzy would've hurt a lot more. I actually went to cash out when I saw Reyes get smashed up twice before the actual knockout. Wasn't quick enough, bookie probably wouldn't have allowed it anyhow.

Also, Molly got humbled in my opinion. That showed there are levels to the UFC.

It is possible to attribute Israel's carelessness to too much temerity. As he has always done in the past, he lets the pereira recover after several hits. I also observed that the referee sometimes broke the play for Pereira's recovery before Adesanya's breaking point in the 5th round. In my opinion, Pereira's hit is more powerful.

What a fight! That's definitely worth a rematch.

Adesanya could've won it if only he had more time in the first round. That's his only way to prevent more damage, finish it early.
He can feel the power of Pereira, clinching every time he feels Pereira getting more aggressive. You can also see in his eyes the hint of being terrified after a punch sinks into his face.

Sweet win for our new champion. His coach did a great job on that final message to him to make combos instead of single shots.
That ice technique also gave Pereira some time to rest.

I speculate that this will be the beginning of Izzy's disaffection from the sport of MMA and the beginning of his demand for more in his paycheck. He will also support to increase payment for UFC fighters. If uncle Dana wants to promote a rematch, they should pay Izzy more money.

He can also retire if he does not want to do this and I speculate that he might retire quietly. Did everyone witness Izzy wave and bow to everyone?

Carelessness is what I could also observe. And over confident that he puts himself on the wall as if he could absorb the punches, he knew Alex could KO him with just one.
So many bettors lost in Izzy vs Alex fight for just believing in the bookmaker's odds. I really believe Izzy could win over his fear after being a champ for a long time. But this happens.
