South Africa tour of Pakistan will begin from 26 Jan, where they will play 2 test matches and 3 T20. It will be a  great moment for the Pakistani for any quality team visiting Pakistan to play the series. Since South Africa and the home team are not in such good form, we may see tight matches between the two teams.

The men's team is touring Pakistan? i heard the women's team is touring, i thought the next series for South Africa was against Australia as all the reports were about the Australian tour of South Africa where they need to win the series to get a place in the Test championship final.

It will be interesting to see how Pakistan will perform in their home turf against a team like South Africa who always perform poorly against quality spin and i wonder what are the spin options for Pakistan in this series.

Currently we have two tours one in by Pakistani Womens in South Africa and second is South African men in Pakistan they are going to play first test in Karachi on 27th January 2021 after this tour Australia is also touring South Africa as today I read both boards are ok with this all going ahead for this crucial tour because Australian's want to fight back after very poor display against India at home South African record in Pakistan is good currently Pakistani team facing some serious troubles so I am feeling this could be interesting series any one can win here.

If Australia wants to stay alive in the Test Championships then they need to white wash South Africa and there are some permutations and combinations as well, England needs to be dominated by India and it is expected like that and with all these aspects in place and if they still have the confidence to improve and win then it will be great.

South Africa did well against Sri Lanka recently, but then Australia is not a weak team like SL. But even then, it is not easy to whitewash them at home. Even after the loss of so many players to Kolpak and migration, South Africa has continuously produced young quality players. One that has risen recently is the 22-year old Wiaan Mulder. And with Anrich Nortje in such fine form, it is going to be a tough challenge for Australia to set up decent totals.

Root 186 run innings helped England to reach the target of SL innings as they just trial now by 42 runs and 1 wicket left. England team is strong as well as balanced side and it will be a good contest when they play with India. India's advantage will be their home ground and will also team be highly motivated as young guys did impossible in Australia. Though out of those youngsters not sure how many will play against England but Seniors will be under pressure to perform as their position in team would just get be shaky if they do not do well in couple of matches else new players would be given chance now.

The English batsmen seems to be having issues against Sri Lankan spinners. Lasith Embuldeniya has so far picked up 7 wickets (he may end up with 8 ). Joe Root was exceptional, but hardly anyone else contributed with the bat. Their opening pair looks like the most vulnerable (Zak Crawley and Dom Sibley). I know that Crawley hit 267 against Pakistan. But if you take out that score, his test career would look pathetic.

Not sure what is happening to Sri Lanka, in the last match they performed really poor in the first innings and they somehow tried to bat longer in the second innings and in this Test they performed well in the first innings but in the second innings they are playing as if they are bored to stay in the crease as they are struggling with just 67 for 6 and it will be just a replica of the last match. The spinners are getting purchase from the wicket and if Sri Lanka could put a decent total from this situation they can make this match competitive.

England spinners took 10 wickets and Sri Lanka is all out for 126 runs and England need 160 runs to win the match, really disappointing performance by the Sri Lankan batsman and i am hoping the pitch is difficult to bat for England as well and if that is the case the match will be interesting.

Lack of experience and not ready to stay on pitch for longer time results in this. Like considering the first innings played by SL many of us were impressed and hoping to continue and put a good fight in the match. But seeing the second innings just can demoralize anyone. They did not even were close to reach half number of runs as compared to first innings, shows how poorly they payed and England did a percent comeback in the match and resulted in 6 wicket win and also winning by 2-0 this series.

Sri Lanka is playing in their own grounds and they cannot field a competitive team to face England while the England spinners took advantage and took all the wickets while Sri Lanka struggled in the trap they set for England is a much bigger shame and England proved they are a world class team and could defeat teams in Asia.

The biggest challenge is the tour to India and it will be really competitive.

I think Indian pacers wouldn't play a big role in the series it's the spinners who would make the most out of this series. Many are forgetting that we are back into the subcontinent now. The ball doesn't bounce here like Australia. It's the turn of the pitches that can give India the added advantage. It would be interesting to see performance of pacers here as they might not get the extra help from the pitch here. Ashwin/ Sundar on the other hand will be the key for India to win the series. Even in front of Sri Lanka we saw English batsmen struggling to play against Lasith Enbuldeniya but playing pacers quite comfortably. It's going to be a high scoring series.

If Saha is playing then may be 4 bowlers-6 batsmen combination. If not then Pant will keep the gloves, in that case we could expect 5 bowler combination, which is very handy in subcontinent and India never play with more than 6 specialist batsmen when in India.
