England is cruising along nicely and they are just 33 runs away from the psychologically important 600 mark. Once again shows how crucial the toss is. If India had won the toss, then they could have easily piled up 600-700 runs and put England under pressure here. But the luck favored England, and now India need ~400 runs just to avoid the follow on. Right now there are only two possibilities for this match - a boring draw, or a win for England.

Edit: 600 level just got a bit more difficult for England. Dom Bess, who had played so well till now is out LBW to Bumrah.

578 is all they have managed to get and believe me i think this is enough for the victory.

It is high time that Kohli should himself step down like Tendulkar did in the past. No doubt he is good batsmen but he has lot of issues as a captain. India will try to draw this match.

Won't be easy to draw the match unless someone from the Indian team play the innings like Joe Root played for England. Indians are already two wickets down with only 59 on the board.

Pujara and Rahane can be the one who can play long innings which is important of they want to draw this match.Rohit Sharma again failed even in the subcontinent ground?! that is hard to accept. Still 60 overs are left in today's game, can Indian batsmen play throughout the day and give some fighting spirit to their visitors.

Indian team always need a wake up call before any big series so consider this blessing in disguise. I am positive that Rohit/Kohli both going to get big runs soon and Team will come back hard at England.

You cannot expect rain in Chennai during this period, so that is out of the way  . Rishabh Pant is counter attacking and playing as if he is playing the shorter format with a strike rate of 143. He is looking to disrupt the line and length of Leach and if he gets out in this period it will be disaster but if he gets through and score a big hundred it will be great.

The first target for the india team is to save the follow-on and the exact target for that is 378. India still have to make around 170+ runs to avoid it. For this to happen the rest of the batsmen need to support Pant who is looking good at 85 not out. If he could stay and avoid the follow-on, india could think of saving this match.

England dominated the match and it is great to see India getting dominated from visiting teams and the bowlers were able to pick 6 wickets and now the tail end players are in the crease, Sundar and Ashwin can only delay the duration of the match and they are playing a patient innings and they still trail by 345 runs but i doubt England will enforce the follow on because the bowlers are tired and they might play a couple of session if that situation arises.

I did not see that coming, West Indies pulling off an unexpected upset chasing a huge total in the 4th innings, two unknown players taking the West Indies home in difficult situation and Kyle Mayers was making his debut and went on to score a double century and that too in crucial situation, Bangladesh players also did not expect this coming and hence they declared the second innings.

Will be see another upset by South Africa as well. England also can win the match as they are in a really strong position. This will be the week of upsets  .

Today we have really beauty of Test and cricket as Bangla tigers was in full control for first 4 days but in last 2 sessions West Indies won this match with the help of two debutants they done one off greatest job for cricket and West Indies 395 last days is never been easy but happen.
Pakistan vs South Africa still both have full chance to win this match most chances Visitors will win because Markram and Dussan solid so they need to stay for level the series and good win in Pakistan.
India vs England is also very interesting still all three results wide open any thing can happen if tail enders stay some more and frustrate England then most chances we are going to have draw otherwise England done very good job for third consective win in Asia.

Last pair who can play longer innings, if one wicket goes down then it won't take more than 5 overs to wrap the tail.So far Ashwin and Sundar is playing very patiently, but morning session will be more crucial to bat on so I don't think they can pass the 1st session. And even if ENG started with 250 runs lead they can simply score 150+ with fast scoring rate and ask their bowlers to do the remaining work because 4th and 5th day not going to be very easy for betting.

Scoring close to 400 runs in the last innings is an uphill task, especially for a team that has a fragile middle/lower order such as South Africa. Pakistani bowlers are in fine form and all it takes is just one good spell from either Hasan Ali or Shaheen Shah Afridi. I still believe that at this point Pakistan has a 90% chance of winning the match. The first session tomorrow morning is going to be very crucial. If the Pakistani bowlers can get one or two quick wickets, then South Africa is done and dusted for good.

Such an incredible test chase by West Indies. What I must say, Bangladesh took West Indies normally. But, when you deal with WI you have to beware as none one know their next move. A perfect example of over confidence, and captain Mominul have to do more works on it.

No one expected it. West Indies sent a relatively inexperienced squad. And it was the first time I was hearing about the guy who made the double century (Kyle Mayers from Barbados, who scored a double century on his debut). The guy who gave him support (Nkrumah Bonner) was also playing his first test match. These are encouraging signs for West Indies. The talent is still there, and the cricket board just needs to give chance to the younger players on a continuous basis.

The Test match between Bangladesh and West Indies ended today. West Indies won the Test match by 3 wickets. Until yesterday, I did not think the West Indies would win this match. Kyle Mayers played great stormy innings of 210 runs. It was mainly because of his great performance that the West Indies were able to win the match.
