You are right in this case as Kohli tactics not working right now because he is not doing things as its need to be Shahbaz is really poor in current match Kuldeep was surely deserve a chance here now things completely out of Indian control because lead is crossing 400+.
About Kohli captaincy I am feeling BCCE will not take any quick decision specially in middle of a crucial series but surely they will think about this in near future.

Kohli has become too much egoistic, and as a result of that he is unable to make logical decisions. England is currently leading by 417 runs. It is a bit short for their liking, as they would have been comfortable with a total of 440-450. Considering the depth in the Indian batting lineup, anything below that may be extremely risky for England. But now they have to adjust with a score that is slightly below their aim, because Dom Bess and Jos Buttler got out at short intervals. However, England would be hoping for more blunders form Kohli, as he is sticking with Shahbaz Nadeem as if his life depends on him. In my opinion, if he gives a chance to either Bumrah or Ishant, while keeping Ashwin at the other end, they may be able to mop up the tail pretty quickly.

Hopefully after this match, the BCCI may consider replacing Kohli with Rahane as the test captain.  

Ideally it should after the series and only if India lose the series. Otherwise don't keep your hope high.

That is very attractive.. IMO, the odds should have been in 4-5 range. India has successfully chased big totals recently and many of their batsmen are in form. On top of that, even their lower order batsmen (such as Washington Sundar and Ravichandran Ashwin) are getting involved in 100 plus partnerships nowadays. If any of the gambling sites provided such favorable odds, then it is a miscalculation from their part.

Rohit's wicket was a big blow. But as long as India doesn't lose another wicket today (I guess only 3-4 overs remain), they should be fine. They still have Gill, Pujara, Kohli, Rahane, Pant and the lower order batsmen. If they bat carefully, then there is a big chance of upset. Even Joe Root is aware of it, and that was the reason why he refused to declare the English second innings when Dom Bess got out.

Nah not any miscalculation, I put a bet when India were struggling at 230ish/6 when Pant got out.

I feel that Root should have shown some carrot to Indians. 4 runs per over is big task to ask in any condition and almost impossible in India when pitch is deteriorating.

Win or lose.. i don't want to see draw in any scenario. Except when India is 8 or 9 down.

But the only difference here is that the Indian batsmen are in very good form, and their morale is quite high after the series in Australia.

The only reason i can think of is big names don't play much domestic games. There was a time when likes of Murli and Shane struggled in India on turning pitches but for quite some time Indian batsmen struggling against spin.

If we go by English experts opinion then this is their one of the worst spin bowling duo in this last decade but they are proving them wrong and taking wickets in India.

One of the reason i want to remove toss benefits in home conditions for every team. If this happens then every team going to dominate the game in away conditions. Although Indian team facing this challenge after a very long time, they win at home despite losing a toss.

Well done Pakistan.....

In the morning today, i thought Pakistan would lose the match and yet they will face the defeat in the match they should have won. But in the later part of the day, the South Africa batsmen lost wickets quickly and finally finally finally Pakistan won by 95 runs

Yup.. Pakistan came back to the game quite strongly. At one point, South Africa was at 3/241 and needed just another 128 runs to win. Obviously it is not easy to score 128 runs in the final day of the match, and that too against bowlers such as Hasan Ali and Shaheen Shah Afridi. But I thought that South Africa had the advantage as Markram and Bavuma were batting really well, and they had depth in their batting lineup (with de Kock, Wiaan Mulder, George Linde and Keshav Maharaj to follow). In the end, the South Africans could not handle the pressure and lost their last 7 wickets for just 33 runs.

Did anyone watch PAKvSA test match, It capture my eyes after outstanding comeback from Pakistan. Pakistan proves again teams of surprise. What a comeback? it's a miracle Pakistan take the series against South Africa 2-0 as SA lost their last 7 wickets for 36 runs.

Dom Bess is the trump card and leach is getting purchase from the wicket and India needs to play exceptionally well to draw the match and i am going with England to win the match as the pitch will not help for defensive batting.

  But the only difference here is that the Indian batsmen are in very good form, and their morale is quite high after the series in Australia.

If the top order can stay in the crease till the afternoon session then the middle order could do the rest as witnessed in the Australian series but it is a big hurdle and it is difficult to replicate the same magic twice.

Did England decision to not allow the follow on prove incorrect because if they would asked India to bat and even if India had taken a lead of say 50 - 100 provided England wrapped up India quick again in second innings then England would have better chance of winning this test as they could even had made this score by playing T20 like match in the end if need be. Now, if India could survive tomo then for India it would be as good as wining the match considering the first three days of the test match being.

Last day, home team hunting for big chase first session surely going to be very crucial for both because if England is going to take few wickets then surely they are going for some attacking tactics otherwise India is not bad at all for chasing big scores. They have very good history of chasing but now all about how is first session going tomorrow, As we check today in Pakistan vs South Africa first session few wickets and Pakistan is good command.

You need to consider the hot and humid weather they are playing, it is Chennai and a visiting team cannot keep on bowling and force a follow on without resting the bowlers. The pitch is behaving oddly with uneven bounce and it is possible for India to draw the match, it all depends on how they approach the match tomorrow morning, i do believe India will not go for the win.

India would not attempt to go for a win as couple of quick wickets and suddenly the pressure would be a lot more than before. So instead they would just try to negotiate the overs as much as possible so that towards the end they can ensure they are able to draw the test match and that would be the biggest achievement itself since they were not in the game. Also, if Kohli try to pace has innings at quick rate as going for a win and if loses his wicket then a lot of question could arise as bating on last day with average required above 4 is not at all an easy task.

Will the team take a decision to remove Rohit Sharma from the team after this match, i highly doubt that. He will be under pressure in the next match and if he does not perform then they will be forced to replace him

If we can do this in Australia where it was a pure bowling pitch against the world class Australian bowling attack with an India-A team we can definitely do it again with our mainstream team now. Rishab Pant will try to attack and with the ball spinning too much i think he will not perform in the final day, it all depends upon how Pujara Kohli and Rahane perform as you need a solid player at one end if India needs to draw the match.

First Answer, England captain want bowlers take some rest after very long bowling session. Second now wicket is doing some good for spinners and its really key for England in last day play because they also have Bess and Leach both can screw Indian batting line up. Now surely its time for Rohit Sharma to consider about test format because in long run he is really poor which is not good for team. Rishab and few other youngsters doing much better hopefully last day we will have some good fight between bat and ball all options available India, England and Draw.
