Day 4: 1st Session Sri Lanka batting looks like they will put up a good batting performance today.  Yesterday, Pakistan batted and gave a lead of 149 runs to Sri Lanka, now Sri Lanka is in a good position.  Sri Lankan batsmen are batting brilliantly today and may be able to fill the lead given by Pakistan very soon. Pakistan's bowlers have not taken any wickets so far, so Sri Lanka are batting without pressure. Sri Lankan batsmen Nishan Madushka and Dimuth Karunaratne have been a great duo and if they perform well, they have a chance to score a century today. Sri Lanka are currently batting brilliantly and need 110 runs to reach the given lead whereas Sri Lanka are currently collecting 39 runs.

If Australia wins this 4th test match, they will win the series. And if England can win it will draw 2-2. England did not perform well despite playing at England's home ground.

Am not expecting England to win the series though anything can happen in the Ashes and time has proven that again and again. Excited!

Sri Lankan batsmen Nishan Madushka and Dimuth Karunaratne have been a great duo and if they perform well, they have a chance to score a century today. Sri Lanka are currently batting brilliantly and need 110 runs to reach the given lead whereas Sri Lanka are currently collecting 39 runs.

Karunaratne is gone. Sri Lanka is playing well at the moment which implies that this match is most likely heading towards a draw unless Pakistan manage to pick up some quick wickets soon.

England will take on Australia today in the fourth match of the Ashes Test series. England are looking for a win to level the series in the fourth match as they are trailing in the series after losing the first two matches but they got a win in the third match which has kept them in the series so far. England must win if they want to survive the final match in this series. After losing the third match to England, the mistakes that Australia made in the third match may have worked on those mistakes. Australia team hopes that they will not make the same mistakes as in the third match against England in the fourth match. Australia will want to win the series with one match in hand. We cricket lovers are looking forward to watch a great match.

The 4th Test match of England vs Australia test series will start from today. Australia won the first two Tests. England lost the first two tests and won the third test. If Australia wins this 4th test match, they will win the series. And if England can win it will draw 2-2. England did not perform well despite playing at England's home ground.

1st Test, Day 4 Lunch Break Sri Lanka 94-3. Srilanka trial by 55 runs. Pakistan spinner doing a great job noman Ali picks up 2 important of including Mathews wicket well catch taken by babar azam at slip and Abrar Ahmad also pick 1 wicket. Pakistan score in 1st inning is 461 runs possibly dueto Suad brilliant double hundred score of 208*. If Pakistan got couples of wickets before they make trail runs that would be great while Madushka playing at 47 Not Out his wicket is important for Pakistan victory.

Even if they can score around four hundred runs, Pakistan will have a easy target of 250 -+. Now the question is how long Sri Lanka will be able to bat?

They still need another 150 runs to have even a remote chance of saving this test match. BTW, Pakistan captain may decide to give one short spell each to Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah, if this partnership persists for some more time.

Sri Lanka needs to form a big partnership right now. If Dhananjay De Silva and Ramesh Mendis can form a big partnership then maybe something positive can be expected for Sri Lanka.

They were four down when I was writing this. But they are six down at this moment. Dhananjaya de Silva is still in the crease. Someone has stuck with him to give him support. But Sadeera was the last recognized batter who could have given him some support. I won't be surprised if they can score a 250 mark from here.

I still expect them to score 300 runs if Dhananjaya de Silva can bat till the end. As I said before, someone has to stick with him to give support. No matter how much they can score from here, it won't be hard for Pakistan to win the match.

This seems to be a sensible decision, given the fact that the pitch at Old Trafford is likely to offer a lot of support for pace bowlers. If Pakistan took the wicket of De Silva then Pakistan chances of winning increases but the Partnership between De Silva and Mandis is very important for Sirlinka. I hope Pakistan spinner breaks down this partnership and all out Srilanka under the lead of 100 While De Silva playing at 54 runs and Mandis at 22*.

Sri Lanka have managed to score 233 runs for 6 wickets in their second innings so far. Sri Lanka are 84 runs ahead of Pakistan so far. The result of this match is more likely to go Pakistan's way as Sri Lanka have only four wickets left and they are leading by 84 runs so far.If nothing surprises, Sri Lanka will be all out within a century then Pakistan will be set a target of 184 runs to 200 runs. If such a target is set for Pakistan, it will not be too difficult to collect these runs for Pakistan to win. Basically I want to keep Pakistan ahead in this test match considering these statistics. With the four wickets in hand, we hope that the Pakistani bowlers will be able to quickly destroy the four wickets of Sri Lanka. The faster Pakistan can take these four wickets from Sri Lanka, the more likely Pakistan will win.

Pakistan spinners has done thier job by damaging the opponent side batting lineup as much as possible, but now just like previous innings every important wickets has dismissed before adding significant runs to total board but the only danger which can make things different is de.Silva which is the only hope for Siri Lankan side too need to be dismissed,
Spinners get a lot help from pitch so that why it's really necessary for Pakistani captain to try more different strategic spinner in order to dismissed the only set danger batter which is currently is good form.

Srilanka have given a target of 131 runs to Pakistan on day 4. 20 overs still to be bowled today and if Pakistan can bat with quick run rate then there is chance that we have a result today. Naseem Shah had good time with bat as he blocked almost 75 balls and had a 94 runs partnership with Saud. Naseem kept one end and allowed Saud to score runs. Pakistan if wins today then it will be a win after a long time.

I'm watching this test watch match turning wicket of mandis that took up by Abrar Ahmad and the Crucial wicket of De Silva at score of 82 taken by Shaheen Shah in his over after taking the Second New ball. Spinners doing well Abrar Ahmad and Noman Ali picked 3, 3 wickets and all out Sir Linka at the score of 279. Outclass bowling performance by Pakistani bowler Credit goes to Abrar Ahmad. I think Pakistan will easily chance down the target of 131 runs.
